The person I was with wasn't the biggest fan either and they thought it was strange how it was served with plain bread slices one which happened to be the butt end. The staff seemed as if they didn't want to be there and the attitude while taking the order matched. The tables were dirty on the inside, so we opted to sit outside but the outside trash was overflowing on both sides which caused for unwanted bugs and smells. The meat was not dry and the flavors were mellow. The potato wedges were great! It was breaded the same way as the chicken. A regular comes with 4 pieces and the large comes with 12. To be fair, most of the wedges are pretty huge. The mac and cheese: Disappointing. It was Stouffer's. Overall it was a decent experience. The staff was kind and communicated well with each other. Jay's is a Krispy Krunchy Chicken franchise. The franchise started in Louisiana back in the late 80s, in the heart of Cajun country. They've now got more than 2000 locations nationwide.
