We love Snappy Tomato! We go here all the time for the buffet and whenever we want pizza takeout, we order from here. For takeout, we normally get the Chicken Ranch adding bacon and the Meat Topper. They are both delicious. The Chicken Ranch has chicken, onion, green peppers and tomatoes while the Meat Topper has all the meats - pepperoni, sausage, bacon, and ham. You can pick up or get it delivered. Delivery is usually pretty fast. For the buffet you get to choose from any of the pizzas. If you don't see your favorite or maybe one you want to try then you can request it. The buffet has allowed me to try all different pizzas. The Taco pizza has be one one of my favorites! My kids love the dessert pizzas! The buffet also includes a salad bar and pastas. My only negative is the price for pizzas is higher than other chain pizza places but the quality is great so it's a toss up. The staff is very friendly. Awesome chain in Union City. The pizza is always fresh and hot. Their to order calzones are pretty scrumptious too- no skimping on the amount of fixings inside. Their buffet is well worth it, and they do take requests! The cheesy garlic flat-bread is a must every visit. read more

It's rare. It's rare that I go to a pizza buffet and get salad. Don't get me wrong I like salad but normally at a pizza buffet I get pizza. Well I just tried snappy's for the first time and on my first trip I got salad. It was surprisingly one of the better salads I've had. I normally try to stay away from salads at buffets because of the chemicals on the vegetables and stuff but this one was even better than the ones you find at Walmart, you know the ones that are ready to eat? Yeah you know the ones I'm talking about. It was better than those. So after my pizza which was my second plate because I couldn't carry pizza and the salad on same plate, how silly would that look I mean come on. Anyway the pizza was pretty good except for one piece but it's not the pizza's fault it had been sitting a while, I went up for seconds on the salad. It was refreshing to walk into a franchise and be met by a helpful person at the counter that is not acting like they're in a hurry to get you in and out. I explained to the counter person that I had never been there before and would like to know what their best seller was. He introduced himself as Daniel (the general manager). He mentioned their lunch best sellers was the pizza buffet, grilled chicken salad and Cajun chicken salad and his personal favorite was the Italian Combo hoagie. I ordered his favorite and asked for a to go menu (I never say I'm a Yelper). Checked out the place, nice crowd for after lunch, quiet, and a clean place. As I have said before that I review not only on the food but the service and cleanliness. If you want to know what the kitchen is like; check out the restroom. Clean, hands free towels etc. Daniel brought out the sandwich, menu, business card, coupons and a punch card for free meals. What happened to the days when the manager of a pizza franchise was given the title to keep from paying overtime and they hung out in the back "office" hitting on the waitresses? Nice job Daniel. I decided to give this place a chance and immediately regretted it. The salad bar was very sad looking and only had two dressing options. The pizza was limp and had zero flavor. The manager was using a fly swatter to kill bugs near the prep area and the sweet tea was anything but. Disgraceful! Never again. read more

I came to this small town on business and found myself craving pizza after a long day of teaching. My fellow Yelpers led me to this local flavor, which turned out to be a bad service experience coupled with some really good pizza. For starters, I went for dinner and chose to eat from the buffet, which was a mistake. The restaurant was SO crowded that the staff could not keep enough food on it! I must have come in on a "Kids Eat Free" night or something, because I felt like I was at CiCi's, which I NEVER go to for the simple fact that there are too many children running around! They had a decent selection of Stromboli, pizza, salad, and dessert but there just wasn't enough of it given the total number of customers they had that night. The food was really good. The pizza was perfectly fresh, as was the other items on the bar. However, it was the customer service--or the lack thereof--that cost this local flavor some major points from me. Since it was a buffet and there were so many people, it was "Seat Yourself". Fine, not a problem. I'll take the only table left in the house, which is right in front of the buffet. Drinks were also, serve yourself. I grabbed a couple of bites of ham and cheese Stromboli, 1 slice of pepperoni pizza, and a glass of water and sat down. I enjoyed the hand-made crust and the sauce was really good. After polishing off this mere "appetizer", I waited for a few minutes for them to bring our more pizza. When they did, I left my empty plate with my fork on the side on top of a napkin--along with my glass of water. I grabbed myself 1 slice of veggie pizza, more Stromboli, and a pineapple desert pizza slice. Then, returned to my completely bussed table!! No fork, no water. I returned to the beverage counter for another water and a new fork, returned to my table to find it completely bussed again!!! GRRRRR!! There were no waitresses around, but there were plenty of customers--EVERYWHERE!! After they reloaded the buffet with a few more pies, I hurriedly grabbed a couple slices and returned to my table once again--where I had NO WATER and NO FORK!! This time, I took my pizza to the beverage counter with me to replace yet again a water and a new fork!! Even though the pizza was good, I would NEVER eat inside this restaurant again. To-go?? Yeah, maybe. The food was really good and the ingredients were fresh, but asking me to dine in again would be equivalent to me donating my left brain to someone who already had 2 of their own!! read more

This place has been around for a long time. When the eating area is small, you dont fee cramped. The buffet is probably what most of the people order when they go. What I like about the place is that if you're at the buffet bar and dont see a pizza you like, you tell the manager and they will make it within 10 mins. I recently tried their wings, and wasnt impressed. If you're going here, the (ranch) pizza is where its at. read more
