Upon walking in, it's just a lot. Where do I go? What do I look at first? There are a lot of products thrown at you at once. I guess you can say, they really do take advantage of every square meter in the store. The store is hard to navigate, and trying to get down the aisle are tight. They do have some cool products, but the prices are not as competitive as they used to be. A regular priced product I was looking at last month is now $10 more now. I do appreciate that they sell items dedicated to smaller spaces, I just don't think the quality is there for a lot of their items after getting a closer look at them in store.

Lots of the mirror were in the boxes and I couldn't see what they look like. There was only two cashier in the mirror stand is right there. I tried on the few occasions to get someone to help me but since there was only what seem to be 3 staff I could only wait. The line at the cash was getting longer and longer and I didn't feel like even after 45 minutes I would be able to get any help. I am usually very patient but I felt like I was in the way of people who just wanted to come out. So after that 45 minutes I simply walked out with no mirror. I don't know if the price will change but there will be a better day. Jysk is a great store to get furniture at a good price. Today was probably just one of those days.

I took delivery of a fridge on July 6. After the truck left I tried to open the door of the fridge…read moreand the top of the handle came off. The delivery crew had not properly installed it. I noticed a screw was missing and called the service team. While waiting for a call back, I took the handle off and found the missing screw had fallen in the handle so I fixed it myself. The store called back and I let them know I had fixed the issue. But the delivery crew knew they had not properly installed the handle but did nothing about it. Now it's a couple of weeks later and I noticed considerable damage to my front door in an area I don't usually look at when leaving or entering the house. I contacted Dufresne and they refuse to help because the damage was not reported within 48 hours of delivery. Why would I think that delivery "experts" would do damage? The crew had to have known, but again said nothing. Be careful if you buy from this company. I understand a "48 hour" policy to protect them but there has to be leeway for exemptions. Not impressed.

It is now 14 weeks later and we still do not have our furniture. Multiple phone calls to the owners have been made and we still do not know when we will receive our table and chairs. We were led to believe that our furniture was being made by the owners and they finally admitted during my last phone call to them that our order has been out sourced. Where and to whom I do not know. I made a down payment that I truly regret making. I will never purchase anything from the Emporium again and caution everyone to avoid custom orders at this store because the owners over promise, raise expectations, and do not meet their deliverable deadline. Further, they have misrepresented themselves as on site furniture makers. We fell for a great sales pitch and are now dealing with poor excuses. We have a sinking feeling that we may never receive our table and chairs. If the owners treat everyone this way, they do not deserve business.

We loved that it's a local store and we try to support local in our purchases whenever possible. They have a variety of furniture on the floor as well as decor of all kinds. The team at Blueprint Home was absolutely great! Karrie and Kim were very knowledgeable and helpful when we explained to them what we were looking for. We could tell that they are passionate about what they do and actually care about providing excellent service to their clients. We ended up buying a Lind leather couch and love seat for a good deal. We ordered them in July and we were expecting to receive them at the end of November, but the shipment arrived early November instead. It was a pleasant surprise! The white glove delivery experience was amazing and we're very content with our overall experience with Blueprint Home. We're planning on going back to get more furniture and decor there in the future. We highly recommend them!

Yesterday i went to return an item. I was told the returns was down as the person dealing with this…read morewas not in. I asked to see the manager to discuss this further and upon the manager arriving I got the exact same response. I asked the manager whether I was able to able to exchange the product for another item and if there are able to manually write down the item for which i had a receipt for and was still declined. When the manager noticed my frustration, in-order to get rid of me I was told to please go ahead and make a complaint if i was not happy about the service. Me personally being in the customer service business I definitely though this was highly un-professional and that this situation could have been dealt with better or for CT to have a back-up plan in place.
