As a plus size bride, I did not want to make an already vulnerable experience harder with a difficult experience before my wedding. And the hard part: I wanted them to be local. I feel incredibly blessed that I found Courtney, and that she took me in. She was INCREDIBLE. So sweet, incredibly talented and knowledgeable... not to mention very sensitive. She talked to me, asked me questions about my big day, and made me feel right at home... and EXCITED. I can't thank her enough. Plus, her little studio here in Chico is the best. A great interpersonal experience where you feel like the most important thing. She took my dress in a whole size, altered my sleeves, and added a bustle to my dress (with custom instructions for my friend). I recommend Courtney to anyone and everyone.

Unfortunately the pricing was a bit much for the services done and compared to other places (my wedding dress alterations at a different place cost less than this). Within seconds, the tailor took them to the back and had them perfectly repaired in under a minute, is it possible this tailor is some sort of wizard. What truly set this experience apart was his generosity. He only accepts cash, which I didn't have on me, and instead of turning me away, he kindly told me not to worry about it and to just come back next time I need anything.
