I have had SUCH a hard time finding something similar in Memphis, but this place finally comes close to those NYC halal food carts. I got a mixed (beef and chicken) rice plate, and it tasted like home. One star off because the employee at the time (this was a Sunday night, so they might rotate) never actually uttered a word during our whole interaction (I was just expected to know that a death glare from the back of the cart meant "please yell at me what you want to eat"), but that food...I will be back! The place is on Macon in a parking lot that is set up specifically for food trucks, and it might look sketchy, but it's in a nice neighborhood.
