We've been to Levee Creamery maybe three times now and aside from the prices being steep, I don't have anything but super kind things to offer! DO NOT asleep on their waffle cones because they're delicious and worth any upcharge. The one I had was flaky and fresh and so damn good. Inside that waffle cone I had their lavender honeysuckle ice cream and it's a revelation! I promise you it's unlike anything else you've tried. YUM. The store itself is clean and offers plenty of seating inside and a bit outside as well. It's clean and spacious! The staff has been nothing but friendly and helpful to us. This is a decent place. We stopped here when passing through due to the reviews. My husband had a mini scoop of "My Jam" he really liked it. I think it was a strawberry vanilla. I had one that had peanut butter and chocolate with reeces in a waffle cone. I will first off say, I love ice cream. Especially hand scooped, BUT, I hate melty ice cream!! Mine was so melty it was pooling up in the cone and then started running over the sides and I was trying to eat it fast so it didn't make a mess, and couldn't even enjoy it, I finally just tossed it. Very disappointed also the waffle cones are very light and thin, not your traditional waffle cones. My husband got an americano and said it had good flavor. I'm so glad we got the chance to stop by Levee Coffee & Creamery. This was a cute little place that offered good options for coffee and ice cream. There were quite a few different flavors of ice cream available. Most had really unique names so I had to constantly inquire about the actual flavor. The young lady gave us the opportunity to try a few samples. I decided to go with the Grit n Grind which was like a coffee-vanilla flavored ice cream. It was soooooo good! I highly recommend!! My husband tried the Vanilla Cotton Cream and he thought it was pretty tasty as well. We enjoyed sitting outside at one of the cute little tables while eating our ice cream. Stopped in today to do some work and was SO disappointed at the customer service. I stood in line for about 10 mins and the guy taking orders looked at me and proceeded to ignore me and went straight to the group of teenage girls behind me asking for their orders. Umm WHAT?! He skipped me even though he saw me standing in line in front of the group of girls. This was completely intentional and being the only Asian person in line, I felt racially profiled. The cashier girl was not friendly either, she didn't greet me or ask what I ordered, just stood there with a blank stare. This used to be my go-to place to work when I want a change of scenery from my home office. But after this experience, I doubt I will return. read more

We have come to this ice cream location for a long time. Over the last couple months, the amount of ice cream given per cone is completely inconsistent and decreasing in amount. There's barely enough ice cream at times to even fill your ice cream cone. For the price, I expect to have at least a full scoop of ice cream in my cone. Each time we have been there, we have commented to the young ladies working inside, asking if that is all the ice cream that we get in a scoop. Their response is nonchalant, and lacks consideration towards my complaint. I would also like to add they were not wearing gloves, scratching their face, and playing with their hair while serving ice cream. I would love to say that I'm gonna come back here, but for the amount that you pay for one scoop of ice cream, along with the lack of care from the staff, I would just rather go to the store and buy my own ice cream. read more

I'm not a huge fan of ice cream or sweets in general but Levee Coffee & Creamery has me coming back again and again. They have a variety of ice cream flavors (all made in house), coffee, shakes and other items on their menu to choose from. My favorite ice cream flavor has to be the Grit N Grind. It's one of the BEST coffee flavored ice creams I've had. It's rich, creamy, and delicious. For all of my coffee lovers out there, you have to try the Electric Fence Shake which is two shots of espresso and your choice of ice cream in a shake. Wow! Oh! Wow! It is addictive! The shop has a great ambiance! The decor is very modern and has rustic feel to it which I love. They are open late so I love coming here after dinner. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone to stop by to try. read more

Five Stars! I'm not a fan of five star reviews, in fact, It's been a year since I've even chosen Five (Rizzo's Downtown Memphis, Go Now!). We can't include my Five for Mr Freeze at Six Flags St Louis of course. That doesn't count, it's a roller coaster, no food could compare to that now could it??? Anyway, I've been a few times now and we ALL love it! Every single family member gets their favorite type and loved it. I'm hooked on the Pistachio with Sugar Cookies on top! The names of the flavors are cute, my wife loves the "Peel Better" which is banana. The ice cream is rich, creamy, and just the right consistency for me. It's so smooth and doesn't have that "ice" taste that you get from places that compete with these guys. It's hard to explain, but it's creamier that most. Sometimes I get that slight icy resistance in my teeth when I eat ice cream. Almost like a crunch, ya know... well not here folks! With all that said, I don't even like ice cream. So why the Five, you ask? National Ice Cream Day was 7-16 and this is also Kylie's birthday. After dinner we came here for a yummy treat. The line was all the way out the east side door onto the sidewalk and there were probably 15-20 people outside. I just knew we were screwed and I didn't even want to stay. To my amazement, the crew was fast, happy, and gracious. They handled this madhouse environment like it was nothing. It's refreshing to see employees doing their jobs so well! Wow! They have great tasting homemade ice cream in a variety of flavors. The staff was warm and friendly in helping us as this was our first time there. They also allowed us to taste any ice cream we had additional questions about. Our party of three all settled on regular cups which allowed us to select up to two flavors. I have been so excited for this place to open up because it's in walking distance to my apartment. The atmosphere is very nice. It would be a great place to study. No loud music blaring. Stumbled across this gem while on a girls trip/reunion with my college room mates. The way to my heart is through ice cream. Whether it's dipped or soft serve I'm interested- and Levee creamery has both types AND coffee! I had never seen so many different flavors of ice cream and so many ways to compare ice cream with coffee! We each got something different so we could share more flavors- clearly we learned something in college! I got a waffle cone with sweet chai of mine and birthday cake. The birthday cake was rocking without being overly sweet and the chai was out of this world- like a frozen chai latte! The chai ice cream would be amazing in one of their coffee drinks. One of us got a mint chip shake and it was the perfect amount of minty and chocolate- almost like a thin mint. Another got a waffle cone of the birthday cake ice cream and fruit loop infusion. The fruit loop infusion is their signature ice cream base soaked in fruit loops for 24 hours. I could probably eat the fruit loop ice cream after every single meal; it tastes just like cereal milk and reminded me of my childhood. While I don't live in the area, I think my college room mate has found a new favorite ice cream shop and I know we'll be back next time I visit! read more
