Super rude! The jury duty ladies on the phone are the rudest people I've encountered. Get a new job if you hate your life that much!

The only government agency that has friendly workers. Could not believe how friendly they were. Super helpful!

Very dissapointing experience today 07/25/2017 at Charles Denny Youth Center between 10-11am. I…read morewent to this facilty to help advocate for a child that I am close to that has made some negative choices. The presiding judge (Judge George N. Bowden according to the rotation schedule at Denny) that presided over the case talked over the child's attorney and only let the prosecuting attorney and the PO have their say. The mother raised her hand to speak and the judge ignored her while she sat silently weeping and her frustrated child being led away. Upon exiting the courtroom I attempted to console and advise the family and girlfriend of said child about what happened and the childs Probation Officer interjected into a private family conversation and was brash and insistent that my information was incorrect. I politely told him this was a private conversation and please walk away and he (Ben Anderson- Probation Officer at Charles Denny Youth Center) continued to interject and innapropriately said I do not even know who you are if you are related or not. I again stated it didnt matter this is a private conversation you were not invited into, nor did I address or ask you questions and please stop involving yourself in this families private conversations. He then stated this is my courtroom and if your business is done leave. I stated we were not in a courtroom this is actually the outside lobby & this is a private conversation and as a Probation Officer you do not have a courtroom. I have done nothing to warrant being asked to leave the lobby so again please leave this families private conversation. Please provide your name. That request he refused and actually turned over his badge so I could not see his name. I then went to the front security desk and asked both officers at the front doors ( whose role is to have people go through the metal detectors) his name and was given 2 different names. I saw the Probation Officer then enter an office and walked to that office again asking his name all the while being followed by a guard that had been in the courtroom earlier who also refused to provide his name when asked. I finally walked up the stairs to the Probation office that was locked and came back down to another desk that called his supervisor down. The supervisor of the Probation Officer -Benjamin Anderson identified herself as Susan Krueger she was polite and open and I voiced my complaints to her. She seemed to acknowledge that Benjamin Anderson acting PO for Snohomish County Juvenile at Denny Youth Center was acting out of line and conduct unbecoming of a government employee. It is our job as state employees working with youth to conduct ourselves appropriately at all times. It was also dissapointing that with the exception of the last 2 people I worked with all of the people attempted to protect his innapropriate behavior by refusing to provide his name. As a government employee we are transparant to the public and accountable. Which includes visibility of name badges and accountability for our behavior to the public. I hope my future experiences here will yield better results. A call to the Public Advocate is next. Today was not ok and our youth deserve better!

Go online to make an appointment in August and their next available appointment is October?!? So I do the next best thing. Get there first thing before they open. I got there, well a little too early. Thought they opened at 8, so I got there at 745. No one there. Then I look and they open at 9. So I leave and find some place to go to the bathroom and return about 45 minutes before they opened. There were about 7 people in line so I rushed down to be #8. Sat and waited until they opened at 9. A lady comes out and says we have 60 open appointments today, there are no walk ups. She goes through the line handing out QR codes to scan and schedule. Guess what, since I had been on it earlier in the morning it automatically locked me out. People from the back of the line(which was well over 50 people deep were able to schedule and walk into 9am appointments. No signage or any of that. Guess getting up and being early or even being proactive gets you nowhere anymore. Couldn't even renew my license online, don't know why. Just said I wasn't eligible. This system is broke and this whole thing is a joke. So now I will be getting online at 9 am every morning hoping I can get an appointment soon. Good thing my license expires in a few days. They should send you a reminder a year before your license expires and have a scheduled date attached to it. If you miss it, it's on you. But if you make it, well that a way for this dumb system to improve a little better. We're all busy, and though I'd did know I was coming up on expired, no one told me the shit show of renewing. Go back to the old days, or open more facilities. Shouldn't even be a 1 star.
