Stopped by to ask about renewing my enhanced driver's license which expires in a few months. Could not renew online or make a DOL appointment. Front counter was a very helpful employee who demonstrated great patience with the customers online. When it was my turn, explained why I couldn't renew online and made me an appointment that fit my schedule. Obviously the department was understaffed and explained the current wait time. Told me I wouldn't be able to get an Enhanced licenses before June every licensing place was packed. Not true Oak Hardor was open and very nice and there were only 2 people in there and they didn't give me a sappy story about how no ones been hired in 4yrs. Ill be driving out there everytime for my Licensing needs. Got my Enhanced Licenses in 2weeks an I was a walk in. read more

I went today to renew my driver's license. They were extremely nice, fast, efficient and helpful. The best experience I have had in a DMV ever. I had no appointment and was a walk in. I was in and out in less then 30 minutes. Definitely recommend this office. read more

Fairly quick service. Plenty of parking. Not as busy as the everett location nor is it dirty. Friendly staff.

Maybe could/should make this 2 stars just because what my son needed done ( correct his first name spelling that they messed up to begin with ) did get done. But the lady that helped us was about the sorriest. Sheri. Her attitude was sadly typical of gov't employee's. We got there pretty much at opening, 9:30, when you would think that being a Friday and the start of the day she would be at her happiest. By my son and I being there, we were a huge inconvenience. Zero smiles from the time we walked up to her until the time we left even tho we were over the top friendly including many thank you's and yes pleases said. After leaving I just explained to my son after he commented on her attitude, that some people were just very sad with their own lives and carry it through when speaking with others. Not one time did Sheri smile and often when we asked her to repeat a question ( due to her not speaking loud enough through the glass partition ), she absolutely let us know that that she did not like one bit being at her job. Too bad. I work retail and always have a smile on my face and am as helpful as possible whether I'm have a good day or not. read more

They don't even deserve 1 star! VERY rude woman at the front desk. We were missing one piece of ID for the Enhanced DL and had time to run home and get it, but she basically told us not to bother because they were closing the line in ONE HOUR and if there were more people there when we got back, they wouldn't let us in anyway. (The place was basically empty at that moment!) Not sure what I expected from hourly Government workers! read more

I used to go to Everett DMV on Evergreen way in the past. It is super busy and I spent at least three hours waiting. This one is not that busy . People are nice but so serious here. read more

This place made a mess out of my paperwork and lied about it.after going to the state and providing proof of their incompetence it still cost me hundreds of dollars and many hours of my time to fix it. I recommend going to Arlington or Marysville just a couple miles away if you want it done write. read more

This DMV is the best! The traffic to get to the office and the wait times are nothing compared to offices a little further south (namely Everett & Lynnwood). The employees are incredibly friendly and seem to know many of the patrons by name. It really has a small-town feel and it makes you feel good knowing your tax dollars are helping employ such wonderful people. If you are dreading going to renew or upgrade your license...don't! Just go to the Smokey Point DMV. read more
