"Yup"- so I followed Rae, the owner, into the shop. I was really looking for jumbos but I know the drill-they are hard to get. Rae was out of jumbos but managed to get a bag #1 males together for me. The "cherry on top" was one Jumbo male. Got home, and immediately fired up the steamer. Dumped them in (all alive and kicking!!) and then started to eat. (The jumbo was dessert). After having eaten 6-7 crabs. I was full. Started putting them away and there were 10 left! So while Rae didn't have the size crab I wanted, she did me a solid and threw a bunch more crabs in. Everything you read about her in the reviews is true. She has a personality bigger than life and is a good soul. Thanks Rae. Hope you see this.

There is a lady who is going in there with a small dog and putting it in a cart. This dog is not a service animal. It ooks like and acts like a regular pet. It is important for people who need service animals to have them everywhere but they do not sit in carts and they are well behaved. I was waiting by the lottery machine and the dog was out of the cart rnning up to me several times. I probably would not have said anything if it had not been annoying me. This lady turned and asked me if i was waiting to play the lottery. It was obvious I was and when she did I asked her if the dog was hers and why it was in the grocery store. She said she had special permission fromt he store manager and she had anxiety so she needed this little dog which was ridiculous. I looked up the law on this and only service animals are allowed in grocery stores, not emotional support animals. The worse thing about it is the fact that she puts the dog in the cart instead of having a leash and controlling it alongside the cart. I wrote a letter to the manager of the store and received no response so I am assuming this is alright with him even though this is a health and sanitation violation. Oh sure,the dog is cute and all that but it is in a cart that anyone could get afterwards. And to be blunt, that dog's rear end and paws are all over that cart , a cart that you or I may unknowingly put our produce and food stuffs on after this woman leaves the store. And talking to the assistant manager and secutrity guard were useless at the time, even though at that point this woman was calling me names and saying she was purposely going to stay at the lottery machine to keep me from using it.

The meats here are also excellent, though a bit more expensive than ALDI. I'm a fan of the Lidl fizzy water and that was my main shop here today. In stock and priced right. I'm very pleased. We used the online pick up order and picked the latest time slot (8-9 pm). This is the most convenient so we can pick up the order after putting our kids to bed. We get a call at 8:15 from an employee saying he just closed the online pickup area at 8 and wanted to know where we were because he got off at 9. My wife asked him why there was a time slot from 8-9 if they stopped the service at 8 and he had no explanation. I then go to pick it up and of course they are out of stuff that he didn't tell us about on the phone. So I had to go to target to finish buying groceries. Total inconvenience all around.
