I wouldn't recommend coming here, I wanted an ombré and when she couldn't do one she complained they were hard to do and ended up making me get a different style, she also refused to give me a coffin giving me a square instead both times saying this is what's in fashion now. The nails are thick, badly done, rough, bumpy, and misshapen. when it came down to paying I was charged for an SNS ombré dip, when I got gel and didn't receive the ombré in the end. Overall bad experience. EDIT: I told my mom what happened and she took me back to see how we could fix the problem, and the nail tech got very defensive and disrespectful. When the problem couldn't be solved civilly we had to request a refund, and the tech demanded that her husband take off my nails. The whole time he was doing it, she was talking under her breath and making extremely rude comments, despite us telling her multiple times that we didn't want to discuss it anymore. Absolutely do not go here if you want anything harder than gel paint. read more

This is the worst place to go! I was so disappointed because it seems the reviews are not accurate. Snow is the worst, my nails were bumpie, uneven, thick as hell! I went back no refund was issued, she charged me additional for re-doing my horrible nails, that she had done from the beginning. She kept talking and got loud, I had to check her on her tone of voice and her husband had to check her as well! Honestly don't waste your money going to this place, they are the worst. read more

I did not have a great experience last time I went in .However I figured they were busy and understood.I went back in again for the same thing Mani and pedi .I'm extremely disappointed for the high price I paid and for what I ask .I don't like the new nail tech she always leaves my toe nails short and they hurt when I walk.I asked if she could not cut them and nail due to that ,and she still went ahead.I asked to stop again and I was ignored.I'm pregnant so I did let her know in case I got uncomfortable .She had me in a uncomfortable position I asked if I could move seat back due to pressure and I was ignored.Then time for my Manicure all I had was my hands placed in water ,nails cut when I asked to keep the shape and nail polish .Not going back .I really liked this salon when I moved here i don't know what happened . read more

Snow will take her nail plyers and pull (yank) your old Gel coating off with the top layer of your nail coming off with it! After jumping from the shock of the pain and telling her to slow down...although I don't agree with the method, she will continue until she hurts you a second time. She then said it was my fault that my nails were weak due to choosing Gel over Powder Nails (S&S). Really Snow?!? Yes, this literally happened to me. I may have been guilty of getting the gel off my nails this way because when it gets old, it just falls off and I don't hurt myself in removing it. But for her to do this seems sooo wrong and unprofessional! I've NEVER seen a salon PULL/YANK your old gel nails off with a nail plyer, inducing pain! Most people would have gotten up and left. Call me dumb! Before the job is complete, she decides to impress a client that has been loyal to her (more years than me) who had walked in from the street with her daughter. She impresses her with MY time and stops working on me to accommodate her to pick out the colors she wanted from the selection on the wall. I NEVER get that service. For me, she slaps samples at me and that's it. Lately, it has been her hubby that gives me the samples with a stoic look on his face as if I've interrupted his day. She eventually comes back to finish with me but leaves again and starts working on the woman's feet, leaving me once more to wait. TIME TO GO! Both hubbie and Snow were "mean spirited" when I insisted it was time for me to leave. She charged me for incomplete work $50.00. I can't see her justification in charging me that. It's more reasonable that I should have been reimbursed as an apology for my treatment and to keep me as a VALUED customer! Spiteful? Yes. I paid her without argument just to leave without causing a scene at her business. I'm generally a nice person. Although, that day, I had decided that I wouldn't take the neglect and abuse any longer. To the contrary, I had told Snow that I was going to come back because generally her finished product is very nice. Maybe I was just having a bad day? But as I reflect on things and the way I was last handled, I'm just done. Other problems: It has also been noticed that Snow will go from one customer to another without changing gloves. She will deny it...but I've seen it. I've had to ask her to put on new gloves as she came to me one day without changing gloves. After that, I started watching her, because it's no telling how often she had already done that with me and I just didn't catch it. She's very smooth with her transition. Watch her! No tub linings...I've suggested to her to get linings. She says she doesn't need it. I'm not sure why I keep having to fight toe fugus. Her tubs could be the issue? Or am I putting fungus it in her tub for others to catch? wowwwww. She has made it CLEAR to me by not providing liners that she is not going to be part of the solution. SNOW: Thanks for holding it down for me for all these years, but this last incident proves that the business relationship between us is over. I've had my nails done at another salon and the Gels have lasted LONGER! I've been getting lesser quality from you, after all these years, and I didn't know it! Oh well, I'm happier now...and they don't hurt me! All of this said, makes me ask...what is motivating Snow's choices? I know that Snow prides herself in her business, but her motivation seems to be SHORT CUTS at the expense of her clients. Stripping off gel (no solution needed, removal takes less time); not changing gloves (saves supplies); working on 2 clients at the same time (not having to hire help and holds clients hostage--can't leave because nails are incomplete); no tub liners (less of an expense); nails don't last as long as a competing nail salon down the street (an apparently cheaper brand of polish). Like Snow, I have a strong personality too and this would have only end in a shouting match or WORSE--over nails and how I was treated in her salon. So I chose to write a review instead of having a shouting match giving her the reason to call 911 on me. I've witnessed how she has talked badly to her own husband, let alone how you might address someone like me. Actually, she DID bark at me and I chose to hold my composure. What could have happened If I chose to not control myself after the VERY Negative response she had towards me? Most people would become livid about her TONE and being overcharged. I was a good and loyal customer. She offered NO compensation to make things right. So there you have it. I have nothing more to say about this. read more

This place is OK... just that... OK. There is absolutely nothing spectacular about the salon and there weronly 2 techs available. The owners husband works the front desk and can be very talkative and quite annoying . The only complaint I have is to have the techs insult the other salons in the area and talk about their work. There are 100 nail salons in WR and I don't get pedicures as often as I'd liked, but the woman I have had do mine the 3 times I have been here is AMAZING. She's quiet and kind and thorough and good lord do my feet and legs feel amazing. I run and have pretty bad calluses and she works magic on them. I appreciate that it's a quiet, calm experience too. Everything is also extremely clean and everyone is friendly. Highly recommend! read more

I got my nails done here about two hours ago. Here are some pics. I've had many people tell me how bad they look and that it is ridiculous that she won't redo them. They refused to redo them. She gave me eight dollars back and said to go somewhere else. I paid 30. I think that they are uneven and that the paint is not even. The shape is suppose to be coffin. I am working in the area this week and was in dire need of a mani and pedi so I decided to log onto Yelp for some help. I noticed that most nail salons in the area only had a few reviews... less than 10 so the number of reviews were to low to determine which salon was exceptional. I remember passing by this salon yesterday and wondered if it was a good salon. When I saw that no one had checked in or added a comment on Yelp I decided I'd give them a try. After all the area looked appealing. My overall experience was great! I enjoyed a soothing pedicure followed by a manicure. I was cold so I asked if the heat was on. They assured me the heat was on and even went above and beyond ... they brought out a small heater and plugged it up at my station. It was excellent customer service and of course I was thinking, 'can't wait to Yelp about this!' The staff was friendly and very polite! I would recommend this salon with no reservations and would visit again if ever in the area and in need of any of the services they provide. Did I mention the massage chair? I just would like to say if you want to end up crying while leaving then this the place for you. Snow called me beautiful and she swore that she would keep my eyebrows thick when she waxed them and her husband promised her 17 years of experience on nails and eyebrows and everything. I ended getting thin ass eyebrows and cried when I left and some chunky nails when I specifically asked for thin and short nails she made them chunky and my eyebrows super thin. After I specifically asked probably like 6 times but she had her own plan. All I'm saying is. She did on purpose. I am heart broken. I told her that I haven't gotten them done in 6 years and she said she wouldn't make them thin. But then she made my right eyebrow thinner than the left. And she made then skinny enough. I have nothing good to say. They made me wait 2 hours for ugly chunky nails after I asked her for thin and short and super thin eyebrows that I SPECIFICALLY SAID KEEP THEM THICK. BUT OKAY. Now I see how it is lol. YOU CAN SAY SHE GOT CONFUSED ABOUT THE EYEBROWS AND NAILS BUT SHE IS THE ONE WHO CONVINCED ME AND EVEN BROUGHT UP MY EYEBROWS TO BEGIN WITH. Rudest owner I have ever met! It was storming outside and I needed to run inside Robins Pharmacy for 5 mins at 9 am with my 2 year old toddler... owner comes outside gives me a nasty look and asked me why I had to park in front of HIS store. Mind you the store does not open until 30 mins later... there is not any signage that would indicate not to park there unless you were getting your nails done by them. I was also done and back home by 9:20 am which is still 10 mins before your awful business even opened. I will never recommend this place nor will any of my friends support your business due to your lack of respect and customer service skills.
