He loved looking through the books to find something he would enjoy. The lady at the front desk was also very helpful helping us navigate the store and sections. Kids books were about $2 and other books varied in price but all seemed reasonable for good condition books.

I left with 11 kids books for only $16 and my husband got 9 books for about $20. Many of the kids books were outdated but if you dig you can find some goodies. Plus, nonfiction is often a safe bet. Definitely worth stopping in.

Had a great time in the stacks today. These books call to you from the shelves...begging to be…read morepicked up and read. The customer service was adequate. I only really got one "smile" and that was almost forced. But I'm bringing home a haul of books, dvds, and a game for under $35...so I can't talk at that! Will I come back, sure! Will it be soon? Also, sure. But would being genuinely friendly kill you?

This HPB location is almost as good as the old Big Half Priced Books on Lane in Columbus (yes, we…read morecall it The Big HPB). Great selection, good sized clearance section, lots of books. Good prices. Lots of books (did I already say that?). Per the usual, I waddled out with arms bursting with my haul. I got a mix of Clearance fiction and some new non fiction. They have cute gift items as well, and the people are friendly. I did sell back a stack on a previous trip, and was not impressed with the buy back prices, but that's pretty much normal for consignment, and it did (temporarily) reduce the book burden in my house, which was the goal. Book burden was replaced during subsequent visit and has been returned to stasis.

This place is really great if you're looking for "their type"...which seemed to be Christian definitely, nationalist maybe...so if you're into that you'll love it. There WERE sections for diverse topics-they were just either empty or nearly so. Maybe a bunch of witchy liberal first peoples recently came through and they haven't recovered? There were whole aisles devoted to Christian books. All in all, not diverse but they do have nice books if you are looking for what they carry.

This shop has two floors packed to the brim with about any kind of book imaginable. An entire children's section, foreign language books, old collectors books, and more. If you wanted to put together a bookshelf full of classics that actually look like classics in worn, brown leather binding you could definitely get your start here. There is every section you expect from a book store. An extensive collection of fiction starting at the front of the store, with classics and nonfiction in the back and upstairs. The children's section is also upstairs. There are a few places where you can sit and read. This being a primarily used book store, you can sell and trade too. Highest dollar is given for nonfiction, with hardbacks being at the top of that list. You can sell your books outright with no obligation to use the money as credit only. However, like with most trade-in places, you will typically get more value if you apply it in credit than if you take it in cash. Absolutely worth a visit, even if you're just looking to browse the day away in town.

It is…read moreclean inside and they have a nice selection of all media- books, DVDs/blu-rays, and even CDs. They also take donations here, so it's easy to drop off that bag of items that has been riding around in your car the last few months. It's worth walking around for a bit and seeing what sparks your interests.
