They always have staff monitoring the animals and cleaning up after them to keep the enclosures clean and tidy. The owner, Janine, is incredibly friendly, welcoming and hospitable. The prices are very reasonable and annual memberships are available that include animal feed with every visit (or feed can be purchased individually). If you enter the main enclosure with food, be prepared to be swarmed! Some of the most notable features of Big Reds is you can hold a giant boa constrictor, pet baby goats, see a Bird Eater spider (one of the largest breeds of spider in existence), see land otters, ferrets, baby wallabies, pigs, cockatoos and the always personable Elroy the Llama. Some of the animals are only available for a limited time so it's a good idea to check in regularly to see which animals are around. Some of the animals are sourced from people in the community and they visit Big Red's to socialize with people and other animals. It's a great cause, a lot of fun, and a well run, clean, establishment at an affordable price. I highly recommend a visit and supporting this business.

There are lots of food vendors with delicious options, I def recommend the baked potato... it's HUGE! The pumpkin patch itself is nice but if you're not in the mood to go hunting through the fields, they also have bins full of pumpkins ready to choose from.
