Forget this place. I'm not happy at all. Went in with tooth…read morepain, they said it's probably a loose filling. They couldn't pin point the exact location. So they just drilled out & re-did two fillings. Didn't spend time to locate my pain. "We'll just re-do the area" After drilling out my composite, I was told I had a large pocket now & if I have pain after this fix I will need a root canal. Well, three months later I had pain. & I didn't go back for a year, I didn't want a root canal. I went back in, he did a myriad of tests to see why my tooth hurt. Cold test, stress test etc. more x-rays & ended up saying "I don't know what to do for you" and it was my sinuses causing me pain. Go to my doctor. So for my next cleaning I just didn't go. I was upset and just confused. Also, surly first ever cleaning my hygienist questioned me when I told her I wasn't on any medication. Saying "are you sure you're not taking anything? Your mouth seems dry" I had already told them, I wrote down all supplements I was taking & Im not on any prescriptions. She was questioning me. Very unprofessional. She also only hand scraped & flossed. No polish, no fluoride. Weeks later I get a $50 bill for not going to my appointment. A month later an $80 bill. It had $30 interest tacked on. I eventually paid the $80. But I asked the receptionist if she could remove the $30 interest and I just pay the $50 no show fee. She replied they never added any interest. Yet they did. I have the bill. So, when locate the bill I will post a photo of it. After explaining all my issues the receptionist said "well you should have had Dr. (other dentist) Work on you" I didn't know who worked on my teeth. it was over a year. She made me feel Like it's MY fault! I cannot believe the incompetence. So, I went to Velis dental, they were very professional and knew exactly the cause of my pain after listening to me. Gave me that thin ink film, I bit down, and they shaved some tooth down and my life has been pain free ever since. A simple tooth shaving because the composite from Wandermere Family Dental wasn't shaped/shaved down enough.

The two implants that that he placed were loose and fell out when he uncovered them, and when he replaced those two one had to be removed and the other one took 2 years before I could have the other one have a crown placed. Slow response time and could not get answers on simply completing paperwork. Bad first and following experiences led to not trusting them with services which would be costly and time consuming with lots of back and forth with front office. Slow in getting treatment plan and would not mail after emailing it first in a format that could not be reproduced with expiration date. Asked twice for hard copy. Not a good fit. I demand efficiency and professionalism in business relationships... By the time I got to the appointment, in which they were late, after the office was very persistent in my confirmation of it days before, needless to say, I was not confident in their abilities. I did not get a caring, warm feeling from Dr. Matteson, but the intro to the office set the stage. Dentist stated he would contact my regular medical doctor, which to my knowledge, never happened and I am yet to see an EOB from the insurance company of the July 22. 2025 exam. I am also seeing many other online reviews including Better Business Bureau that are not favorable. Sorry to say: Tread Carefully or better yet, not at all! Really quite unfortunate. The Dr is…read morealways great, I don't feel like he's doing things just to do them (aka gouging) I only have issue with the hygienist, years of military dentists and bad experiences have left me with what you could call high level dental anxiety which then led to years of dental neglect, I'm an adult and I'm well aware that I don't have the greatest dental structure and I'm currently reaping the rewards of my poor past decisions. A ship I'm obviously trying to right (by dropping thousands of dollars a year at this practice no less) what I really don't appreciate is getting brow beaten every time I'm in for a cleaning, yes I'm aware of the state of things, thank you for pointing out the obvious and continuing to perpetuate my dental anxiety. I likely won't be looking for another practice as I don't want to start from zero again but the condescending attitude I get from the hygienist makes me cringe when I think of upcoming visits. After having another dentist recommend crowns on two teeth that weren't bothering me, I made an appointment at Generations Dental. The office staff was organized and helpful both before and during my visit. The dental team was friendly, gentle and understanding. Dr. Rader took time to chat before looking at my teeth, had already looked at the x-rays before coming in the room, and thoroughly explained what he was concerned with. I knew I'd made the right decision when he suggested replacing a disintegrating filling, but made no recommendation for crowns.

I was looking to retake control of my oral health having not seen a dentist in over a year. During…read moremy initial visit with Dr. Stein's office, I was able to get fit in for both a cleaning and exam. The hygienist was very calming and gentle and did a great job. After my exam, Dr. Stein's team wrote up a treatment plan and guided me through the process and cost of the restorative work that would be done. Due to a short notice move, I was concerned I would not get all of my work done before leaving Spokane. On the first day of my restorative work, I asked the receptionist, Marinda, if they had any other appointments available soon. She was able to coordinate an appointment for the very next morning to finish all of the work on my treatment plan. The work included a crown that was made in the same appointment. I was highly impressed by Dr. Stein and his whole team. They have a welcoming environment and an attitude to get the job done. I would recommend their services. 10/10

The office and equipment are new and state-of-the-art, and both Bryan and Mary spend considerable time on continuing education learning the most up to date methods and use of materials in their practice. In reference to a one-star review below, I am offended for these dental professionals to have anyone even suggest that they would recommend unnecessary dental repair work--this is absolutely never the case where my family's 10+ years of experience here is concerned! Highest recommendation for this outstanding dental practice.
