I went to get my teeth cleaned twice at this location. The first time I went in, the hygienist did a fantastic job. Gave me a deep clean and spent nearly 45 min-1hr working on my teeth. Was very happy with the cleaning so I went back. The second time I went in to get my teeth cleaned, it was a newer hygienist and she was not prepared. Spent 10-15 min when I first sat down getting her things together. Then after the Dr checked me out, she spent MAYBE a total of 15 min cleaning my teeth. She had made a comment about how good my teeth look, and I think that therefore meant to her that she didn't need to spend time actually doing a deep clean. Which is absolutely not how that works. If I'm spending $300 out of pocket for you to clean my teeth, you'd better be looking in all the little nooks and crannies. I was in and out of that office in under an hour and was very upset at the cleaning I received. I tried to talk to the front desk about it but they were very uninterested and far from helpful. Basically gave me a, "Oh well. Pay us the $300." Will never return here. read more

I am very disappointed with my recent experience at Dr. C's office on 63rd Street. I previously had a crown placed at their Valley location, which, although it came loose a couple of times, ultimately stayed on for about seven years. That gave me some confidence in returning to Dr. C's office when it needed to be replaced. However, I was shocked to learn that the 63rd Street location--despite carrying the same doctor's name--is apparently not affiliated with the Valley office. They charged me full price for the crown, and unlike my previous experience, it only lasted 13 months before coming loose again. To make matters worse, I was told there is no warranty on the work, and I would have to pay again just to have it re-cemented. I find this to be very poor business ethics. A crown should stay longer than a year, and patients deserve some level of assurance for the cost and care provided. The front office was really hard to talk to. I asked her to consult the doctor before making a final decision, but she refused. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. A dental practice should stand by its work, not make patients pay twice for the same issue.I will not be making mistakes recommending this office to my friends anymore. read more

My front crown broke in half. I'm here for work. It's a Saturday morning. Things couldn't have gone worse. But then I called C Dental - South Hills and they made an appointment for within an hour! Everyone was extremely nice and professional. The Doctor bonded my tooth and I was good to go after 45 minutes. Cali was very helpful and Diana was so fun to talk to. Dr Finn was incredibly rude and condescending during my 03/24/25 visit. He would not listen, and mocked my anxiety and stated it " frustrated him" He did not bother to read chart and see history. I truly hope he is better with other patients. read more

I barely found a seat before I was called to go back. The hygienist has the most skilled hands I've ever had. What can I say about Dr. Finn? He's more than a doctor, he's family. A 70 year old friend flew in from out of state to visit me. The day she arrived, her "bridge broke" requiring emergency care. She was treated like an old customer of many years, on a complex job, and just thrilled with every aspect of her service! That was over a year ago, and she's as pleased as ever with the results. I went in couple of years ago, when they offered free exam and x rays. Dr C told me I needed extensive work including a couple of root canals and crowns. At this point I didn't have insurance (retiree). I was very wary of this exam and said I was going to get a second opinion. I took the xrays to the son (now a dentist) of the dentist I had seen for over 30 years (he retired). This dentist looked at the xrays and said I didn't need any of that work. I think the guy is incredibly dishonest, and a very poor dentist. I will never go back. read more

Went today as a new patient. It had been 6mos since last cleaning. This office spent 40 minutes figuring out my insurance and what it would pay for. Without even looking at my mouth, they insisted that they could not clean my teeth with a regular prophylactic cleaning. Instead, they said I needed a periodontal disease cleaning which my insurance will only cover at 70% mind you they had not even looked inside my mouth at all at this point and I was very confused. I have always had my teeth cleaned every six months and this has always been covered at 100%. They claimed that my last dentist was committing insurance fraud by giving me a prophylactic cleaning and not a periodontal disease cleaning. The reason for this they claimed was in 2021 I had a deep clean, and this Scaling and root planing means that forever after the patient needs to always be a periodontal disease cleaning and not a regular prophylactic cleaning. None of this made any sense to me. I simply wanted my teeth cleaned. They called insurance again and the agent said they would only cover a regular prophylactic cleaning, which I wanted. However this office refused to clean my teeth! This is an hour and a half of my life that I will never get back. I will continue to look for a dentist that will clean my teeth and not waste an hour on how insurance is going to bill this. And PS I brush my teeth twice a day and floss every day and use the water pic every day. The dentist looked at my x-rays which were taken in March, on a large screen with me, and could not find anything wrong with my teeth. After all this waste of time I called my old dentist in business for 24 years and they assured me that there was no reason they couldn't have cleaned my teeth. The deep clean they did 2 years ago is covered by insurance every so often. Refusing to clean my teeth was a mystery to them. They always do an exam and cleaning and then give the patient any suggestion for further treatment. I can certainly never recommend this office. read more

The doctor made me feel comfortable about the procedure. I have a phobia about going to the dentist. I was there under duress due to a break in my front tooth. This was the best experience I've ever had at a dentist. I haven't been to a dentist in over a decade, but I had a filling break off and leave a gaping hole in my tooth. I called at 9:20 on a Saturday morning, I came in at 10, and I left at 11 with my tooth filled. Everyone I encountered was SO KIND and SO FRIENDLY. I was anticipating being shamed about avoiding the dentist, or hearing negative comments about the state of my mouth, or being pressured into more appointments, but there was none of that. I paid out of pocket and they printed off a list of offices that take my insurance (state) in case I wanted to pursue a comprehensive exam and cleaning. The environment was calm and I was never rushed or pressured. This was a positive enough experience to make me want to see a dentist regularly again. read more

I admittedly despise visiting the dentist however with a broken tooth whereby they placed a temporary crown on it, I had to visit sooner than my next scheduled appointment due to severe pain where the temporary crown is and that pain lasted at least an hour each time I ate. They were able to fit me in the same day that I called and it was determined I need to have the dreaded root canal. The staff at this office is very nice and they do explain everything in detail. Not only are you a patient however they also treat you like a friend! They carefully listen to everything that is going on and finding the best solution for me. They take customer servicing to the full hilt and though I still do not like having dentistry work done on me, I feel quite comfortable here and know that I am in the best hands. Would highly recommend this dental office, I believe you will not be disappointed. read more
