The first time, they treated me on an IPL machine that targeted brown spots. I noticed the effects right away, with my freckles appearing darker before they eventually came off a week later. During my second appointment, they booked me with a dual IPL machine calibrated towards both reds and browns. This also worked well with my skin. Since I am of asian decent, I am of higher risk of side effects when IPL is not administered properly, so the staff was very careful and considerate. Pain wise, I would rate this treatment a 6/10. Not pleasant, but not traumatic either. Forewarning for those considering IPL to target redness and spider veins: while you might notice a decrease in redness, my aesthetician informed me that this effect is temporary! Eventually the veins will resurface :( Both appointments were quick and easy, and I am very satisfied with the results. side note-- this is definitely a side effect, but I also noticed that the hair on my upper lip was zapped away and never really grew back post-treatment. A nice bonus! But don't worry, they make sure to stay far away from your beautiful brows and hairline

I had purchased IPL Groupon package $143 for 3 ipl…read more Everyone there was extremely helpful and on it. I'm horrible with names but my Esthetician explained every step of the way and made sure I was okay during the treatment. She provided post care instructions and what to be aware about. After only 24 hours... The sun spots are still there but it's said to flake off over the next few days. My veins on my face nearly gone. Skin tone and eveneness improved dramatically. I look forward to the next 2 treatments. The process of IPL isn't painful. Keep in mind I'm a HSP and I just found it to be uncomfortable and literally shocking.. that took me a few times to get used to it. (Please Google what IPL is) PROCESS: 1. Put hair cap and goggles on.. 2. Esthetician applies a clear thictk substance, same stuff used during ultrasounds, on to your face. This ensures..there's some extra padding between the laser light 3. She then explained what it'll feel like and what she'll be targeting first. She got all my sunspots and veins. Then forehead area. Though it zaps at one area it hits surrounding areas as well. IPL feels like a bunch of thick rubber bands hitting you. Despite goggles/ eyes closed... Is extremely bright. In the blackness of my eye..all I saw was literally the boom emoji. You guys might chuckle but I'm serious! That emoji and the yellow and orange is what I witnessed. My Esthetician was extremely detailed and also knowledgeable on various skin types/sensitivities. She applied Aloe on my face after it was done. 4. She explains my post care needs and what to avoid. 5. She took me to the front to book my next appointment with additional notes for appointment. She wants to try another machine to tone the redness down. But seeing my results ...might not have too! Parking is plentiful. Please book by calling them. I'll update the review with final photos after my 3rd treatment in a few months..around august

I had severe redness and burning of my face along with intense shivering, chills and low grade fever when admitted to the ER. I was 3 weeks post treatment and I had large, firm nodules on both sides of my jaws with significant bruising to left side and moderate to mild on right side. I looked like a chipmunk storing food in my cheeks. I couldn't believe what I was going through. It was the worst and I wish I had never had my filler treatment done. I've regretted it completely. I couldn't believe I had a treatment done 10 years prior with barely a bruise and very mild swelling. It was a walk in the park compared to this. My experience was repeatedly dismissed by Jaime and the office manager, Stacey as a late onset inflammatory reaction. They could not understand that my body was rejecting the filler despite my trip to the ER. They still couldn't understand it continued to happen after a round of steroids and H1/H2 antihistamines. I was having to start additional steroids and continue the H1/H2 antihistamines due to my symptoms returning. My upper arms and legs were hot and felt like they were burning along with my torso. I had to pack myself in ice to be comfortable. I was completely miserable and no one at Vitality Med Spa cared what I was experiencing after a treatment they performed. I was told I could have my filler reversed but it would be 18 more days before they could "get to me". They also informed me that when they could see me it wasn't an emergency or considered an allergic response or in their eyes even necessary so I would have to pay $300 per each vial needed to reverse my filler. Forget already paying over $2000+ for my treatments that day. Now I'm on the hook for more expenses to reverse a treatment that went awry. I was told the office manager would reach out to me but that never happened. I even asked if a specific Dr on staff could see me for the reversal sooner since Jaime couldn't but I was told he no longer worked there. I even went into the spa to have the bruises broken down with an IPL to quicken their recovery process. I hoped to see Jaime one of those days to inspect the larger nodule in my left jaw since it was still large and firm. I wasn't sure if it was something to be more concerned with like an infection as it was still swollen and warm to touch. However, when I came out of the laser tx room, I could hear Jaime talking to another staff member and refused to see me for an evaluation because she was "too busy" as she stayed hiding in a supply closet until I left the spa. I was shocked that she couldn't care less about what I was going through. I've never felt this way about Vitality in all my years I've had services done. Never thought as big as they are, with all the awards they have and as long as they have been around..they would ignore the well being of a client that was going through a situation merely due to a service/treatment that occurred under their roof. That's like having surgery and subsequently having an infection or some other medical issue and the Dr saying they did the surgery but the patient having an infection/other issue...that's on the patient and the patient has to figure it out without the Dr's help. Sorry Vitality Med Spa, you have to expect some bad with the good...not every procedure is always going to go as planned! Unfortunately, I know firsthand!!!

I got a phone call the morning of the appointment saying the person I booked with doesn't do injectables. The platform should not have had someone come up that doesn't do the service I requested. I am a teacher and cannot come just any day, so booking over Spring Break was perfect. Now, there is nothing available and I am stuck with product I can't use because I will need to go somewhere else.
