When I walked into Noire Nails I was greeted by the friendly staff. My appointment was with Jay and he did not disappoint. I am a short square nail girly and the picture I showed Jay was executed perfectly. If you are looking for a clean nail salon with a friendly staff, do yourself a favor and check our Noire nails located next to Sage Dental on LaVista road. There is plenty of parking. Word of advice, bring cash, Venmo or Zelle to avoid a credit card service charge. read more

SUPERIOR CHARGE FOR INFERIOR SERVICE!!! If I could give this salon ZERO stars, I would. It took "J" TWO HOURS to do a fill and French tip--a service that should have been relatively simple. I came in on Labor Day, when the salon was understandably slow. I had an appointment, was seated immediately, and there was absolutely no reason for this service to take anywhere near two hours. I showed "J" a picture of my previously done nails and asked if he could replicate the look. His response was immediate: "Yes." Well...NO. You could not. And that's exactly where the problem lies. I have absolutely no issue with a nail technician saying, "That's not a design I can confidently do." In fact, I would have respected the honesty and happily chosen something simpler. Instead, I was assured that he could do it, and I was left with a result that looked nothing like what I requested. By the time he finally finished, I was so relieved that the ordeal was over that I bolted out of the salon. Of course, I paid--and even tipped--because that's simply how I conduct myself. But the more I looked at my nails afterward, the more irritated I became. I paid OVER $100 for nails that I am NOT willing to wear for the next 2-3 weeks. Now I have to spend additional money at another salon to have someone correct work I already paid to have done. Let that sink in. I paid a premium price for a service that was so poorly executed that I'm now paying someone else to fix it. That's not "superior" service. That's superior pricing for inferior workmanship. And before anyone says, "Why didn't you complain before you left?"--because after sitting there for TWO HOURS watching something I didn't ask for take shape, I was simply ready to leave. I shouldn't have to stand over a professional and explain why the finished product doesn't resemble the picture I showed them in the first place. I don't expect every technician to be capable of every design. What I DO expect is honesty about your skill level. If you can't do something, SAY SO. Don't tell a customer you can do it, charge them over $100, take two hours of their time, and then send them out the door with a product they're embarrassed to wear. The price was premium. The service was not. The workmanship was not. And unfortunately, I will not be returning. Superior charge. Inferior service. Lesson learned. read more

Went for BIAB as advertised on their door, he said they had it but used something else on my nails and said it was pretty much the same thing. Also didn't shape my nails properly . Very uneven and sits on cuticles. read more

Absolutely amazing experience! I called around 6:50pm and truly appreciated that they were still able to accommodate me so close to closing time. Jay was incredible--he greeted me warmly, was very attentive, and made sure I got exactly the look I wanted. My cat eye dip powder manicure came out flawless. This salon based next to sage dental and piedmont urgent care is amazing!! It's so classy and bright when you enter. They play current music and always have something on the tv to pass the time. They are always so welcoming and kind. They offer complementary refreshments every visit and have a rewards system. I don't particularly like the act of getting my nails done because it has started to feel like a chore, but they always do my nails to protection, so I never have issues coming back. Never coming again. First they have a dog walking around (not trained) and I say before I even sit down "hey I don't like dogs" and the First Lady moves the dog away from me but doesn't put him away. Second I show her a picture of want I want and ask if she can do it, she states yes. I ask for an overlay, so she preps my nail for service. Please look at how healthy my nails are! She proceeds to put acrylic on my nails (bubbles is every nail. I'm like we may need to start over. If I'm getting a French tip you shouldn't be able to see any bubble. Ya'll I'm talking bad. She says once it dries you won't see them. Sat there for 5-7mins. Bubbles. I then ask her to take them off and I'll pay for the removal and toe nail color change. Most painful manicure of my life!! Guy doing my nails spent most of the time mopping up blood from my fingers. He cut four of my fingers and proceeded to paint my nails while stokes of my blood mixed with the nail polish. Additionally he scraped the top layer of my nails off before even started. Beautiful new location in Toco Hills. I brought my mom in for some nail TLC (she is a nail biter so brittle and lots of hang nails on tender fingers). The salon is beautiful with a large selection of colors and services (SNS, gel, regular). Staff is wearing masks and they require masks as well. The tech that helped my mom was gentle and thorough which i really appreciated. Price is a little above average but considering the area and work done, I think it is warranted. I was visiting Atlanta for the week and decided I would try this place out after seeing positive reviews on google. Holly was nice during the service, however, less than a week later my SNS nails are chipping and top matte coat is PEELING. I also got a pedicure and my nail is chipped. This location doesn't care about the comfortability of clients. They had a dog walking around the shop, and personally I'm both terrified and allergic to dogs. I asked the guy if the dog was going to continue to be out, prior to sitting down at the table, he told me no and that he would put the dog up but never did. Another client saw my uncomfortability and took the dog herself to the back in the room with other workers. The guy can back looking for the dog and went to open the door so the dog would come back to where I was. I was on edge the entire time, once the dog was walking towards me, I got up immediately and left, if you purposely want to make me uncomfortable, why would I support your establishment? I don't care how crazy my nails looked, I wasn't going to support them read more

Worst nail salon experience. The neon window sign said "Open" and the door was open, so I entered and requested a gel manicure. The technician was sweeping the floor and talking in the phone while she told me what station to have a seat. She proceeded to say she had not cleaned up from yesterday's busy day. I was the only client in the salon and waited an extended time, a few other trickled in and although the technician had started with me, she was completely distracted telling these clients things, talking to her husband, using her phone and talking loudly to another technician on other side behind me. There were 2 televisions on. Not a very spa like, restful environment. I decided all I could endure in this situation was my current nail color removal. I had a question about the process when the technician began which was met with seeming irritation and little explanation. About 1/3 way through my service, her husband brought her a mask. What was the point now? I told her that I had decided against the gel manicure to which she said that she had time for me now. I responded, "it doesn't seem that way" and explained why. She put the issue in me saying I had arrived a little before they opened and she needed time to prepare. I didn't bother to point out that the door was open, sign said open and she could have said that they weren't opened yet because she clearly didn' care that I was feeling ignored and had found myself in an unwelcoming chaotic environment. When my color was off, the technician tried to proceed with new gel color application as if nothing had been said and acted confused as to why I was leaving. There was zero regard for me as a valued client there for a personal service much less in providing a relaxing welcoming environment welcoming environment. read more

I didn't enjoy my nail service here. I had been one other time in the past and received a wonderful full set that time however both times the nail techs were rude. Also this time around, I kept being passed around to 3 different nail techs and I didn't know who to really tip. I come to the nail salon not only to get my nails done but also to relax and be treated in a courteous way. If someone is spending $60+ for nails, you should make the customer feel well taken care of. I will not be returning to this salon. read more

I got this beautiful design from this salon and loved them. Two weeks later all my nails start splitting in the same place (obviously poor quality) within a week and a half three nails already split in the same place doing basic things (such as laundry) and I saw two more splitting (cracked) and they hurt. So I went back to the salon to ask for a discounted full set. The owner was not understanding what I was asking for. I was being very polite about it. She told me the lady the did my last set quit and is no longer apart of the salon so it wasn't her responsibility. I asked from a business stand point to give me a discount so they could continue to get my business since my last $70 set barely lasted me two weeks. She then told me my nails don't last because they are "long." I have been getting these length nails (sometimes a little longer) for about 5 years now and I've had high quality sets last me 4-5 weeks with long nails. I told her I wanted a design And she put nude sns powder on saying she can't do a design on top of that. At this point I think she was doing what she wanted. Because I didn't want that set I was already a little irritated. She goes "this is what u wanted" and I kept telling her I don't want nude I want a design please... she kept going saying she can't do one... then I go on to ask how much extra a design is because these nails are just not what I wanted. She then tells me $5 more. I was like okay whatever at this point I'm just paying for a regular full set because she also charged me $5 for length. She goes on to say "I just don't think u wanna pay at all" very rude to me after I agreed to pay for the $55 set that I now have. I tried so hard not to snap and politely explained to her again why I even asked for a discount in the first place. Anyways I end up getting a French tip that's uneven, "coffin shaped nails" that I later had to file down for an hour after because the shape was honestly so ugly. The end cost was $55 and I still tipped. So basically no discount except for her taking off my set before for free. Anyways I am not coming back here the customer service was terrible. read more
