Over the years I've started taking my teenage daughter there as well. Terrible pedicure!!! Today was my first time trying this salon because my usual salon is closed on Sundays. I got the most expensive pedicure on the menu because I NEEDED callous removal and a nice foot massage. I basically got a polish change with a massive slathering of multiple strong and foul smelling lotions (think perm solution and hairspray) for $50! And the polish doesn't even cover the entirety of my nail! If you're in the market for a new nail salon, do yourself a favor and skip this one. read more

Nails day! I walked in without an appointment at this upscale looking spot today and got a rebase done with Kayla. She spoke perfect English and did a great job without having me be picky or complain the whole time. This is the type of home, luxurious nail place I have been looking for a long time without having to go to downtown. Everything was clean and all the staff was friendly. Again, the atmosphere was crystal chandelier with mosaic tiles at the wash station. The owners name is Luke, he thanked me and welcomed me back any time. Worst experience i have ever had . As soon as I walked in it was very unorganized and there was a woman who was unsatisfied who had came back which should have been my first sign to leave but I still tried . The lady then worked on my nails did not take her time and did a horrible job on my nails. She also blamed me for not telling her the nail thing died that was drying my nails (i forget what it's called) . Then when I explained I didn't like the nails they were very rude about it and refused to fix them the way I had asked so i wanted my refund. She told me she is going to clip my nails if i wanted a refund so she clipped them all crazy and expected me to leave with my nails like that . I had to beg her to atleast have common decency and soak the acrylic off . They then told me to get out and the guy who works up front is very disrespectful. The lady ended up telling him she'd do it if we payed . I never have been treated like this anywhere . I would never go back . I do go to this salon every once and a while. I do like it and they are very gentle and kind. Though some nails artists are better than other, but all are at least decent. I got almond nails with a pink sheer base and chrome stars. I love it, she obviously did the stars hand made so i definitely give her grace for that that. Racist against black people and charged me 60 for full set and 55 for rebase two weeks later! The math isn't adding up ladies! Got full set on January 12 with Kelly, quality was okay and I paid $60 (short, painted white tips not pink and whites) Two weeks later I go in for a rebase and the quality was way worse and her vibe was off. Paint started chopping a day after I got the rebase! Kelly and the female owner charged me $55 for the rebase which is five dollars less than the full set! I also mentioned my best friend is Vietnamese so I don't know why they thought being racist and talking shit wasn't going to get translated. I know what mi dang means. Kelly was talking about the "black person" to the female owner and she threw me attitude when I brought up the price and how that made no sense to basically charge me for a full set when all she did was a thirty minute fill in and repaint. When questioned as to why my rebase was five dollars less than my full set and $25 more than the prices on the board, I was told they raised the prices. So did you raise the prices $25 or did you overcharged me because y'all are racist. I'm confused ? read more

I have been going to Sexy Nails for the past year for pedicures. The service is good. BUT BEWAREAbout a week ago the nail on my right big toe started chipping, so I made a new appointment. Then a big piece broke off. I removed all the polish to trim my nail. This is what I found. FUNGUS on 6 of my toes. apparently they do not sanitize their equipment. I called to talk to the owner of the salon I was told no one was available so therefore I spoke to the manager. She was very short with me stating well you didn't get it here, thanks for telling us and hung up. From everything I have read it will take months to get rid of it. Plus I'll be losing my toe nails. I went to So Sexy Nails & Spa this week and had a nice experience. I got a deluxe pedicure with a friend. We did not have an appointment. We walked in and waited about 15 minutes, which wasn't bad. The deluxe pedicure included paraffin wax which was nice and relaxing and makes my skin really soft. And the hot towels and big massage chair are always soooo relaxing and feel like heaven! sadly this experience was not a good one. called ahead, said they were closing 2 hours early but could fit me in, i said i can come next weekend and she said we'll see you soon and hung up. got there, it was completely rushed. nail tech didn't even get off my old polish all the way before she started so the nails are lumpy. polish is touching my cuticles, she filed my nails with a rough file and left them so the edges were sharp. all different lengths and shapes. completely rushed the process, slapped lotion on my hands and said all done, i had to rub it in myself. read more

This salon is very clean, has lovely decor/atmosphere, does an amazing job on nails and waxing, and is very inexpensive. I have 2 years going to this place every two weeks to get a pedicure with shellac and my acrylic nails. On this occasion I went with my daughter to get shellac, I chose a color but they didn't have enough and it was only enough for my daughter (she chose the same color) the truth is I was not interested in choosing another color because I had already had it in mind for many days and I told her that better not than thank you very much. She was very upset because I didn't choose another color just like her partner who was doing my daughter's nails. In the end they wanted to charge me 5 dollars for filing my nails but I told her that it wasn't my fault that they didn't have the color that I chose, that she didn't have to charge me if she didn't do me any service and she got more angry and started talking to me in a very rude tone. at the end she didn't charge me the $5 dollars because I didn't allow her to do it. I paid her my daughter's $20 and left her $5 of Tip although she didn't deserve it. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE you have to understand that if the client says no it is NO, and that if the client is kind you also have to be. We pay for a service no one gives it to us so learn to treat the people who give you work. read more

This place is great! My best friend and I dropped in for 2 pedis a mani and a rebase. My nails were a hot mess from the previous nail salon I went to in Lakewood (Signature Nails). Kevin fixed the mess and made my nails BEAUTIFUL! He took his time despite the fact that I did not have an appointment and they are absolutely perfect. Kevin is amazingly detailed and nice. We chatted about football and I'm looking forward to going back. This place is so great, I will drive the 45 minuets from Lakewood to Thornton to get my nails and toes done from now on. He did not use clean tools on me (the pack was already opened). His own hands and nails were so dirty and gross... it made me very uncomfortable.
