I was gifted a gift card for Christmas. I decided to go treat myself for a pedicure. The lady of course did not speak English. She used the scraper on the curved part of my foot and not my heel. She messed up on every single toe and kept having to refix it. When she was massaging me, her nails were digging into my calf. She was VERY slow and clearly NOT trained. The last time I was here I walked out because I was so frustrated and did not get my eyebrows waxed!! That happened today. I will not be back at this location. I always rave about how awesome they are! Clearly this no longer true!!! I decided to give them another chance and I was very very disappointed. When I was walking out I had stated that She clearly needs more training. And the owner said oh you don't like it? And still made me pay. Which is fine. They are extremely rude, inconsiderate and give you attitude when you ask for designs or to fix a nail they messed up (which happens very often). The last couple times I went, they put my acrylics on slanted at first I just thought it was an accident that wouldn't happen again, but this time it seems worse. Also it was 2 weeks ago and my nails are already falling off because they aren't applied correctly I ended up paying for my nails to be crooked and the designs sloppy. Every time I've went they were very rude (I like getting deigns) and whenever I ask they give an attitude and get very judgmental. I have got a pedicure and acrylics here. The acrylics are super cheap- 27 dollars for a full set so it's a great deal! However when I got them done, they were super sloppy and I had to go somewhere else to get them fixed otherwise I would have posted a picture. They were uneven( I asked for Rounded and some were round but some were square) and the paint was not even . They were too busy to fix them. On the other hand, the pedicure was nice and the nail tech did a great job. I wouldn't come back for acrylics even though it's a lot cheaper than most places because I ended up spending just as much as others to get them fixed. read more

I've been going to CQ for a while now, and I've noticed it really just depends on who you get. They are very quick, and give you what you what with what they have. They also ask you if everything is okay, with shape, color, etc. Finally they are pretty afforable around 50 for a full set. read more

I give zero stars. i used to go here a lot, until i got a pedicure and they ripped out my ingrown toe nail. but, my toe got and is super infected. it hurts to walk on. it was perfectly fine until they messed with my toe. now i have an infection and am trying so hard to treat it. just be careful! read more

I have been coming here off and on for 2 years now and each time I'm never disappointed. The setting is home-like and comfortable. My pedicure is a standard pedicure but feels like a deluxe pedicure, when removing ingrown toenail's the staff is as gentle as they come. When I get dip on my nails it lasts for 20ish days, regular manicures are just as good. The prices are fair and the entire staff is continually friendly. The salon is clean! (Front and back of the store) and staff has never eaten on in the salon while others are getting any of the services they offer. read more

If I could, I'd give this place half a star. I generally don't go to nail salons to get my nails done because I like and enjoy doing my own nails. I went against my better judgment and decided to "treat" myself after a hectic and stressful day. Boy was I in for a surprise. A friend and I both went to get our nails done. Me a mani and she a pedi. We were BOTH disappointed!! The lady that did my nails was snappy when I tried letting her know what it is I prefer when getting a mani. To top it off the lady only focused primarily on the middle bed of my nail and only slightly colored the edges. Due to this the edges of my nails are already chipping and it's only been 3 days since my mani. My personal Mani's last me 2 weeks, which says a lot especially since this is how long shellac is suppose to last. Not only that, but she made me bleed while trimming my cuticles...smh!! Overall, the customer service was awful. Note: if you decide to get a regular mani don't be surprised if you get asked multiple times if you want shellac and why you should get it. To the owners: before doing my own nails, I use to get regular mani and pedi's for YEARS (including shellac). So I know what I'm asking for and I know the service that customers should be receiving. I will most definitely NOT be coming back to this establishment. read more

Being the avid fan that I am of getting my nails done (and getting them done WELL, mind you), I'm pretty skeptical about going to a new salon after I've grown comfortable with another... Anywho, a dear friend of mine always had the most fun acrylic nails I'd ever seen. They were still technically pink & whites, she said, but the salon she goes to has oh so many fun colors (and textures!) instead of just white acrylic powder for her tips. Well, I ended up going with her and was definitely a happy panda. Their selection was just as she said: Phenomenal. Andy is a great nail tech. Sure, he's quiet (all the techs are), but he's swift, agile, and a hell of a nail artist. Nails are always smooth, done just how you want them, and there's never any pressure to get crazy nail designs if you don't want them. Just ask if you do. I've never had any complaints about CQ; I always walk out a satisfied customer. Another plus: I've never once broken a nail that they've done. My roommate and I decided to try this place since it had decent reviews. We made an appointment and the nail technician was super quick, approx 30 minutes from start to finish. I came in for an acrylic fill with shellac polish. When he was finished I loved them. They were thin and not bulky and the shellac was so pretty. Fast forward to not even 7 days after. I'm now missing 5 nails. I've been getting my nails done for over 8 years and I've never had this issue. read more

I have been coming to this place for about 4 years now and I really love it. Everything is very clean, in fact after they spray the sinks you can smell the cleanser in the air. Everyone who works here is very, very nice! They are very friendly and they remember me each time I go in, which is only a couple of times a year. They always ask me how my children are doing and they ask about my mom too! There is usually a small group of people having services done and to me that says that other people appreciate them as much as I do. These ladies are all friends with each other and I believe that one of them is married to the owner, who also does nails in the shop. They have a tv that you can watch while you get your pedicure and they just got brand new pedicure chairs that are so wonderful! They don't just vibrate, they give you a real rubbing massage, it feels great. They also give a very nice massage when you get a pedi. They have shellac for like $10 more and it lasts forever, it's amazing and I do it every time now to stretch the time between. read more

I am very pleased with this place. I have been to neighboring salons like Rockstar Beauty Lounge and American Nails on 120th. If you are looking for quality work and at a decent price go here. I have no problem paying for a full price manicure for my little girl if she is treated as a paying customer. Unlike those other places, charging full price while she has to sit on my lap. Here, they let her relax and enjoy her manicure while i enjoy mine. They do not rush you in selecting your colors or designs. It is all about quality and customer care here. I had been going to Amercian Nails thinking trying a new Nail Tech would maybe make my Shellac last longer, Never. I tried Rockstar and they are rude as you walk in that you cannot ask a question or get an answer. American Nails is always so packed that they feel rushed and end up not paying attention to the detail. My Shellac manicure from this location lasts about 2-2 1/2 weeks (my nails grow fast). Stopped in on a whim for the first time at 10:15am on a Thursday. They were packed and well staffed. Lots of women, men, and tween girls. Enjoyed the pedicure with shellac for $33. Nice clean place with quality massage chairs and pleasant employees. They seemed to cater to a large diverse group. Even cute little tween magazines for the younger crowd.
