NO MATTER HOW BAD YOH WANT TO TAN DO NOT GO HERE. The staff told me after I cancelled my membership that I could be refunded. When I spoke to the owner, she told me her employees were wrong and basically said they can't handle customers well. There was never an apology about miscommunication. I'm so angry. They took my money and have no empathy for customers who were lied to by their own employees. Train your staff better and maybe learn how to deal with upset customers. Should've checked here before I paid for a membership. Would've dodged a bullet. read more

Awful customer service. When one employee says one thing to me and the manager and owner won't apologize for the miscommunication. I was told it was 3 months long not a 3 month contract. All they care about is stealing money from customers. She belittled her employees over the phone. Had an attitude the entire time and everyone couldn't get their rules on the same page. Train your employees better because none of them know what to say and I got lied to and now you have an upset used to be loyal customer. I'm going back to sun tan city I would much rather pay more for the nice customer service I got there over your crappy lies and schemes that you allow. Two years ago today my girlfriend got to speak to her mom for the last time she was upset and wanted to go tanning to try to get her mind off things and the ignorant, judge mental girls at the front counter called the cops while she was tanning, because they thought she was intoxicated. So in the middle of her tanning an officer knocks on her door ask her to get dressed. tells her she appears fine but she insisted to do a breathalyzer to show workers they misjudged. And after all of this they couldn't even work up a simple apology. I'm disgusted with the way they handled this situation. There's a professional way to handle it and this was not it. Customer service like this is hard to find! It all started with needing more of my suntan lotion which is only sold here & there at salons--once you find a fave you hate to switch! The original place I always got it is now no longer an authorized seller so I was off to find another seller. As I traveled to different areas for work, I would check salons for it & had no luck. Finally I emailed the company that makes it to find out where it could be located. In steps So Tan shop owner Abby Flavin! She emailed me back immediately that she could order it for me as she was the new authorized seller in the area. As my schedule is crazy & work keeps me swamped, she & I emailed back & forth for weeks while I found time to call her to order. She kept in constant contact, was super nice & helpful the entire time & called me when I said I was ready to order. I of course was busy with work & missed her call, she then text me from her cell to follow up & let me know to call anytime. Needless to say, I finally placed my order & she just charged me a small fee to ship it to me as I no longer live in that city. When I ordered it, I then found out she was the owner as I was saying how impressed I was with her customer service & wanted to tell her manager. If her salon is anything like her customer service it has to be the best in town! In a day when places live & die by their customer service, yet really good service is hard to find, Abby was an impressive reminder it is still out there. I have been going to So Tan for a little more then 3 years now and I absolutely love this place! The tanning beds are amazing, the price I pay for unlimited tanning a month is super amazing and the people at both locations are GREAT!! I worked for this company and they fired me because I needed time off to plan my fathers funeral.

This place is HORRIBLE. Yes it was clean, but the payment system is trash. I signed a contract for three months, and they charged me for four. They said I had to sign another contract to stop the payments, and therefore would not refund me my $20. I person should not have to sign a contract to go tanning. I do not recommend this tanning salon. They are underhanded and are trying to take money in back stapping ways. Please spend your money somewhere else. read more
