Drove from Carey Idaho to Hailey Idaho (45 miles) today to do laundry. Soapy's in Hailey is the only choice in the area for washing your clothes. The place was filthy, all but one laundry cart had bolts missing some with wheels that didn't work. Several out of order driers and washing machines some with doors missing. Both the washing machines and dryers were the most expensive to operate that I have ever used. If you need to get yours clothes washed you are stuck using this filthy, scummy business. Don't drop your clothes on the floor you might have to wash them again. The City of Hailey should close them down. Hailey is an upscale tourist town and home to many celebrities. Now that Im back at my RV writing this I wish I had taking some pictures. read more

I don't understand the bad reviews as this place is extremely clean for a laundromat. A couple of machines were out of order but that is understandable. Soapys does the job. Don't believe the pics. Water is from the attendant washing the floor. read more

This place is a sh**hole. Do yourself a favor and go two miles down the road to Bellevue. Machines leaking water that was going everywhere, mind you this is grey water. Half the machines were out of order. Looks like one of the local hotels must do their towels and sheets here do good luck finding a machine. read more

They don't even bother to turn on their water heater, so don't think you're getting hot or warm water in your machines. Dryers are expensive and don't dry quickly. I will find some other place. read more

Number 9 washer took an hour and 15 minutes to cycle through. When finally finished, clothes were SOPPING wet. Letter G dryer had a melt down and ate all our money. Note the water in front of dryer from wringing our clothes before attempting to dry in broken dryer. read more

A year ago I came here do do laundry. It was very nice and clean. Forward to a year later..... I'm here early morning. The place is dirty and so many of the washing machines are out of order. My thoughts......different management who don't give a hoot. I'll have to find another place to go. read more

We were visiting family for a night and had some laundry to do so stopped by Soapy's. It is VERY clean which is a great trait in a laundromat :). Quarter machine was out of order, but the woman there was ready to get us some. I'm shocked at how expensive it is for a load of laundry these days though as I haven't gone to a laundromat for several years because I have a machine at home now ($2.75 per load for a regular top-load washer). It was a nice place though with a cute coffee shop nearby. read more

I use Soapy's commercial washers for some big items like comforters and mattress pads. The laundromat is always been clean and equipment has been very reliable whenever I visit. What's more, they are adjacent (west) to Hailey Coffee Company if you need to kill a few minutes. read more
