I needed to go to a Laundromat to wash and dry my clothes due to my machines needing repair and I was pleasantly surprised by my experiences at Sobe Suds. It's located by Alton and 14th. I went a couple of times over 3 weeks and the staff was kind, the laundromat was clean, the machines are in good shape. The dryers are especially powerful. The machines operate via quarters only. So bring your change or dollars as they have machines to get quarters. There's a couple of chairs in case you need to sit, parking in the front and back of the shopping center, and fans for ventilation. They also have additional services - to drop off your clothes/ items to be washed and dried and dry cleaning as well. read more

We were unexpectedly in Miami for four days due to weather-related flight delays. Many self-serve laundromats in SoBe either have closed (Normandy Laundry) or become full service drop-off businesses. We feel so fortunate we found Sobe Suds. The place is relatively clean, with plenty of washers and dryers and tables to fold / organize clean laundry. The shift manager was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and kind to us. She provided key guidance on how to select a washer (small, medium, large) based on our load, how to purchase and fill a laundry card, and approximate drying time and capacity of the dryers. Never thought I would use Coin Laundry but my washing machine was broken so I had to look for a Coin Laundry. Sobe Suds Coin Laundry is just a 5 minute drive from home so I tried this one. Glady's was very helpful as she guide me on how to use these machines. They have small, medium and large machines so a week's laundry can fit in one of the medium or large machine. Dryer is one size, a large one but the drying time depends on how many quarters you put in the machine. You need only quarters for the machines but they have a changing machine if you need quarters. The place is clean, well lit, airconditioned and well ventilated, and they have a waiting area with lots of chairs, an atm machine, a vending machine, and even a massage chair while you wait for your laundry. It's $.25 for five minutes so you can choose the time on how long or short you want to dry your clothes. There's a limited 3 cars free parking in front of the laundromat and more parking space at street parking is available as well. Washing here was a breeze! Check it out! read more

Positive experience. Plenty of machines and available space to fold your clothes. No real seating except a pretty best up massage chair for hire. But it's clean and we felt safe. There's a television but it wasn't on during our visit. Note that there are different levels of washing machines and the prices vary. I thought it was insane that my wash cost $7 and I realized after the fact that I was at a machine that noted it had 4x capacity so of course it cost more. Rookie mistake. read more

5 stars for me. All washer and dryer, change machines and ATM in working order! People using the laundry are respectful and no weird vibes. The lady working folding clothes even informed me that I was drying my clothes on the lowest heat setting and If I want fast drying (and less quarters used) to try on a higher heat setting. It cost me 6$ to wash and dry one duffel bag of clothes. They charge 15$ per 10 lbs of laundry with next day pick up if you would rather not wash, fold and dry yourself.(Definitely trying that service out) $25 for same day service. read more

A few homeless guys for entertainment, who had no problem running across the street to buy beer for us, and we obliged by getting theirs as well. I don't know whether it's OCD or I'm just a neat freak but when I'm on the road I *have* to do laundry. First of all it's an easy way to get away with packing a tiny little suitcase when you're headed to Miami. You just do a load of clothes halfway through your trip and you're good to go! Sobe Suds does What you should expect from a laundromat: an easy place to wash your clothes (or have your clothes dropped off to be washed.) The machines do a good job and work very quickly. Because I'm a laundry obsessive, are usually have a couple pods of Tide in my Dopp kit But they sell it there if you forget to bring so. It's expensive though. While you're waiting for the spin cycle to complete, I head across the street to "apple a day" and order a smoothie or an açai bowl. You should to! read more

My clothes were dirty walking in, and clean walking out! I throw them in a washing machine and leave for about 25 minutes then come back and put them all in a dryer and set it for 1 hour and do some more window shopping or grab a bite to eat. I was in town for a work event and probably a little jet lagged. The man at the front was very patient and kind when explaining that they accepted contactless only for their non-machine service. They have a working ATM and coin machine so it wasn't a big deal. The ATM fee was $2.99 which seems reasonable. They also sell detergent packs if your need them. The space was clean and to the point. This is the worst place ever..... rudiest workers and didn't always give us enough assistance. If machine had any trouble.. she would snap at us fro no reason.. wasteful of money ! Let me preface this with I HATE laundromats.... Is it the worst, no. But I have definitely experienced better. I usually am blessed to have a washer dryer working in my apartment building, but they were replacing them so I had to hunt down a laundromat. The first one I went to had no parking = fail. I drove up the street and found this one. No parking in the lot, but there were meters out front, so I took one. They have an odd variety of machines. Only massive loaders and pseudo massive loaders, so it's a bit expensive to wash your stuff if you don't have massive loads of clothes (around $6 per load). The driers got the job done in a half hour (0.25 = 10 minutes). The floor was also SUPER dirty, so be careful not to drop your clean stuff & don't put your laundry basket on the floor or you will have to clean it when you get home. I hopefully won't ever have to go back, and if I do have to go laundromating again I will probably try the other place first to see if it's cheaper. On the plus side, my clothes were clean and dry by the end of my adventure. read more

After coming here for the first time on a random late night ,I went through the horrible experience of finding out that my car had been towed right outside the laundromat while I was doing my laundry inside. Apparently I parked in a "no parking" zone, even though we were in the lot. My rating of four stars is due to the fact that the owner, Mike, took the time to get back to me and went out of his way to literally get back more than half of the $240 we had to unjustly pay Beach Towing. Well, one positive thing was that the woman working was extremely nice. The place is dirty. A lot of the machines were out of order. A lot of the machines were being used for their wash and fold service. Overall, pretty unhappy with my experience. The owner needs to get some new washers in that place considering so many have "out of order" signs on them. They need to clean it up. read more

I live right around the corner and, because of that, have used this laundromat a few times. It is very dirty, it's definitely hit or miss with the niceness of the staff. The lady that I encountered had a horrible attitude and made my entire experience bad, but mostly annoying. She was just rude, unhelpful, and intrusive. Try the laundromat off Washington and 5th or alton and.. 8th (i think). Both much cleaner and the staff is very nice. read more

I have been coming to this place for almost 7 years and I NEVER had a problem with them, on the contrary I found them a great deal for dry cleaning and even if something didn't come off they have taken it back and re cleaned it for me free. They have WiFi so you can do some work while you wait and though they aren't fancy the front desk is very attentive. Parking is a bit tight but hey it's south beach! read more

Just a note: DON'T USE THIS PLACE. My building's laundry was not working and had to drop off a load here. While everything was nicely folded, I had 3 very nice swimsuits that they inexplicably took the draw string out of: thus ruining 3 very nice swimsuits. Worst Laundromat ever ...went there at 920 last week and every week to do one tiny load and everything was fine because they are open till 11 giving me plenty of time...tonight the mean horrible lady at the counter wouldn't let me do my same small load at 920 even though it clearly says on the internet 930 last load...literally one tiny washerful and the lady for the last few weeks said nothing...hateful mean lady and will never go back!! The people who work here could be nicer...and the water temperature settings on the washers could be accurate (sometimes a cold wash ends up being hot - not good for your blacks)...and they could clean the detergent/bleach compartments of all the clumped up powder (powdered bleach might also be bad for your blacks)...other than these issues, SOBE Suds is satisfactory (if a bit dirty). read more

So I currently moved from 10 st to 15 and the difference wasn't to drastically but we had to switch laundry mates the problem is that we left one that was so clean and updated to this one who machines are not always working the people are rude I had thIs lady remove my stuff from the dryer because she didn't like her own . I'm very understanding but not when it comes to a total stranger touching my clothes. I had to go this place because the place I regularly use, was unusable, again. I have mixed feelings about my experience: - the lady in charge was very nice - the lady in charge was using about 1/3 of the dryers for their wash and fold service. many of the dryers had stopped and she refused to empty them saying "she can't" while there were no dryers left to use (making me wait) - there are more washers and dryers than the laundromat I use on 15th street - the place was dirtier than the 15th st laundromat, in some places disgusting, but I least I got some machines to use and ultimately get the job done - there is a small free parking lot, but I didn't get to use it because it remained full. most south beach laundromats have no parking at all Overall, I was relieved to find a place I can use after my home machine failed (again), and my regular back-up laundromat was unusable. I will make this my regular laundromat given there are more machines and both laundromats confiscate a large majority for business use so that matter between the two of them is a "wash"...hahahah read more

Unacceptable customer service. Not only they do not accept credit or debit cards, they didn't even have change for one hundred dollar bill. They lady on charge was very rude and won't do anything about the change. She said "you should know there's a lot of places which do not have change". I'm so sorry but this is unbelievable for me.
