I agree with others on here! This store is the worst grocery store I have ever been to! just…read moretotally gross.....will not go there again...prices are not good, and the fresh food is disgusting ! No cashiers, and people butting in line up with huge carts filled with stuff..almost left the few items there....so long No frills...you really suck!

The worst grocery store I have ever been too. Produce section is filled with half rotten, dirt…read morecovered produce. Meat section is disgusting. Much of the cheap looking/previously frozen chicken is filled with water leaking from the "previously frozen chicken" . Chicken soaked in bloody fluid leaking all over the packages. You would have to be insane to buy red meat or steak from here as well. Low quality and poorly packaged. The dry stock is hard to mess up so I will give them a pass here. Minus each aisle always ALWAYS having staff ( kids ) on ladders with carts blocking the aisle, many of the boxes are left on the shelves after stocking as well. One till is all you will ever see open. I have never seen more than one open. The self checkout is what it is, although the staff have to bring you bags ( I guess they do not trust us to pay for them.....) .Note the bags are now done as of this week . So the self checkout is hardly viable anymore. Some of the staff seem alright, I note some serious attitude from a few of the young female cashiers, pretty standard to deal with that type of attitude these days so no suprise there either. I would rather go hungry than shop here, today I walked out in disgust and will never ever return. Sobeys isn't much better. Be a champ and drive to a real grocery store in St. Albert. Save on/Safeway. You get what you pay for.

No Frills is just as its name suggests, no frills. This is a grocery store chain of the…read moreSuperstore/President's Choice variety, but on a much smaller scale and with much less selection than a Superstore or even an Extra Foods. They don't carry a lot of the President's Choice Brand items (although they do have the PC Decadent Cookies which are amazing), but they have a lot of No Name, and No Frills brand. Sometimes stock can get pretty picked over, especially if there's a sale or during the after office hours (3pm to 6pm-ish), but if get here during the week on a morning the stock is usually pretty decent. Sometimes the produce can be a little ifffy, but maybe it's just that time of year right now where produce is kinda crappy no matter where you go. Today I went to No Frills for their dollar days sale and I picked two boxes of Chapman's ice cream sandwiches (4 per box) for $1 each, and two 500ml containers of Chapman's ice cream for $1 each. Did I need the ice cream or ice cream sandwiches? Yes. Yes I did. You can't go wrong with ice cream at that price. Most of Leduc's grocery stores are on 50th Street north of 50 Avenue (Sobey's, Safeway), or are west in the very busy Leduc Common shopping area (Walmart, Bulk Barn), so it's nice to go to Extra Foods where the traffic is a little less busy. While it's not inside the store there is a small Liquor Store right next to the No Frill's.

No Frills is what the concept is. They have amazing sales, and if you stick to the sale items…read more(normally what I would consider pantry items) you can save a ton of money. Bring your own bags or boxes and be prepared to pack your groceries quickly as it is usually pretty busy.

They also have amazing meat and bread. The cafe is lovely and resonable. And you can also get a beer, wine, or specialty pop as well. We went to the Ukrainian dinner and it was great for 25 bucks. We definately will be back although it is a bit of a drive. Although to be warned it is pricer than the regular grocery stores. I would say buy your staples somewhere else and grab the meat, bread, cheese, and health products here. And maybe have a nice lunch with a glass of wine. This is one of the few places where I go grocery shopping and leave more relaxed when I go in.

I was checking out at approx. 1245 on 22AUG2026 and a cashier was told to log in by someone at the…read morefront counter as I was passing by, I remember something about "no, I need you to sign in" or something along those lines. I happened to get her line. The cashier next to us made a comment that her coworker who was helping me was going to the bathroom, my cashier responded she was told she wasn't allowed. Excuse me? After I was done, I asked the poor young lady "Are they not allowing you to use the bathroom?" her response was "Because it is busy.". I was HORRIFIED this clearly had to be an oversight. So, when I got to my truck I called and asked to speak to the manager, he identified himself as Ryan. I explained my concern for the well being of staff and he was not interested in the least. When I pointed out that I can appreciate pushing full breaks back due to an increase in customers that is one thing, but restricting staff from using the bathroom is unacceptable, if not illegal. If it isn't illegal, it is defiantly immoral. I suggested that if it was so busy that staff could not use the washroom then maybe he should be out working the cash registers or ensuring adequate staff. Again, Ryan could not care any less and I called him out on that. After I got home and before I wrote this review, I down loaded my dashcam video that has Ryan displaying his toxic attitude and looked up regulations. This doesn't fall under labour standards but it sure as hell falls under Occupational Health and Safety. According to the Government of Canada's Centre for Occupational Health and Safety 'Employers cannot impose unreasonable restrictions on access to washrooms. Any limitations, such as requiring workers to wait excessive periods, restricting access based on productivity targets, or not providing facilities close enough to work areas, may violate workplace regulations. '. So, Ryan if you are reading this keep in mind that people don't quit companies they quit bad managers, which in my opinion you are a bad manager (and human) when you are restricting your employees from using the washroom when needed. Again, if it that busy then you should be out there helping and making sure your staff are treated with respect and dignity. Who knows how long this has been going on for because young adults don't know how their rights generally and there is a power imbalance between a middle aged man and a teenaged girl. I will not be returning to this location as long as this guy is the manager.
