I went into the office this morning very skeptical because of some of the reviews. I was met with the complete opposite experience here. 1. The $295 fee was told to me during scheduling and I understood the need as the issue couldn't be found with a simple X-ray. Actually, no issue was found with an X-ray. If it weren't for the scan, my issue wouldn't have been found. With the pain I'm in, I am happy to pay to find answers. I know this gets people super mad that they have to pay it but that is an insurance problem. If you want to get to the root of your needs, this is probably very necessary. 2. From the moment I walked in the office until the moment I left, the entire staff was so kind to me. I asked questions, they answered. I even called when I got home because I wanted to clarify some items, they were completely informative and answered everything I needed. 3. I would have been able to get this taken care of the very next day if I needed it. That's always a plus considering the pain I'm in. Overall the process was smooth and painless. This was a consultation only and I do go in for the actual work next week. I will definitely follow up for a second part based on experience. So far, I recommend this place. read more

Dr. Alexander gave me a thorough breakdown of treatment, even voicing concern of postponing until after the holidays to minimize my risk of having temporaries on for too long. He was able to perform both tooth procedures the same day with minimal discomfort, explaining what was being done in the process and actively ensuring the numbing agent did not wear out until the procedure was done. I was referred to this place from my dentist as she said I'd probably need to retreat a root canal. I was bit concerned about the other less favorable reviews here but in the end I decided to go with this recommendation. I did call my insurance company first to make sure that the consultation would be covered by insurance. They require a CT scan for a consultation. Luckily with my Delta Dental PPO it does cover the office visit. Make sure to check with your insurance company as well as the front desk won't check until day off of your appointment. As part of your consultation they do a CT scan for your teeth which is probably the first time I've ever had that done. In all cases before it had just been an X-ray. So the good thing is that CT scan seems to be a more thorough look at your teeth. Almost like a 3D model. Dr. Alexander went through the scan with me on the tooth in question and also tested the area in question for any pain. In the end, he concluded there was nothing wrong. So good news was that while an X-ray may show my tooth may need root canal retreatment, it was good that the CT-scan along with the exam showed that it didn't. So I appreciated that an unnecessary operation was not done. However, the only bad news for me is I don't know what the feeling I had in the area was related to. However, that is another issue to be monitored and hopefully nothing. Waiting in the wait room wasn't too long. The questionnaire could be answered on an iPAD or via your phone, and at the end, they give you a copy of the CT-Scan. Good to know they didn't do the procedure if it was needed. read more

From the moment I made an appointment Maria was so helpful and very kind throughout the whole process, the whole front desk was very helpful and welcoming including the coordinator. Dr.Shahavi was amazing. I have really bad anxiety and he made sure the process was so smooth. I felt like I was in really good hands. Throughout the procedure he made sure I was okay. His assistant Leslie was so kind as well made sure I felt comfortable. Even hours after the procedure I was so happy I didn't need to take tylenol. The Dr is truly the best. Came to this place because I was recommended by my dentist because they would take my insurance. Off rip I was immediately annoyed at the fact that they made me pay for another set of X-rays (which cost me $300) despite having X-rays from my dentist that were taken two days prior. Their reasoning was that they had their own system. The endodontist was very short with me out of the gate which I was willing to cut him some slack on (I'm sure having to deal with people stressed about their teeth all day would be grating). However what inexcusable is the lack of care this man had for my bite. When he put the temporary crown in my mouth, I noticed that my bite was uneven. When I brought it to the nurse's attention she went to go tell the endodontist he practically stormed back in the room and essentially told me, "im not fixing that." On top of all of that the crown popped out of place within the first 12 hours of having it my mouth. I've had to get a root canal before and I never had a temporary pop out let alone the same day I got it. ( I was eating chicken and rice if you were wondering). I am a FREAK when it comes to my dental higiene so with that being said, I visited a lot of dentist through out my life. The staff at SoCal Endo is kind and welcoming. Dr. Shahabi was the one that did my treatment and he was very gentle and he made sure to see that I was doing good through the procedure. My experience with other dental offices and Drs. hasn't been great ( all they care is about the money ) so to finally have a Dr. and staff that truly cares means a lot. WARNING!!!! OMG!!!! I NEVER bash on a business, but this needs to be out there and people need to be warned!!! I wonder how many begs they needed to be people for those positive reviews, lmaooo!! The second I got there, negative vibe, horrible customer service, nasty attitudes, WOW!!! I thought, maybe it's me, maybe I'm just a little irritated (which o don't know why I would be since I've been in an awesome mood), but wanted to just give them the benign of the doubt. I got there at 9 am and had an issue with providing my social, which doesn't make sense to me, I have a ID, the time is now 10:30 am and I'm still not seen. I saw the dentist and told him my concerns, he apologized. Then an elderly man that was also there asking questions, they were just talking back and giving him attitude, it's so sad, one think you need to know about me is I WILL ALWAYS HATE ANYONE DISRESPECTING THE ELDERLY!!!! The man was getting verbally attacked, you can hear the irritation coming out of them, omg, I literally told them to stop talking back and zip it!! The dentist was coming out to see what's going on, the poor elderly man said thank you and left I looked at him and said you know what? I'm leaving too, I won't be spending my money here at all, there's other specialists out there. I walked out with the man and we chatted a bit and I felt so bad for him. So it's not me, it's them, horrible, nasty, and very negative attitudes. That dentist won't be in business for long if he doesn't get him better and more professional employees!!! I want to give a huge shout out to SoCal Micro Endodontics!! I had to get a root canal done and they had to go behind my bridge!! Doctor H and his amazing team did an absolutely INCREDIBLE JOB!! Dr. Vahdati is truly AMAZING. I was beyond impressed. Having a massive full mouth restoration, due to huge infection, already dealing with entire life FEAR of dental procedures, I was terrified to have 2 root canals done. The staff is great and understanding, patiently kept providing me new appointments, until I had enough courage to go. Yesterday I had them both done at the same time, NO BIG DEAL, I can't believe I'm saying this, but it's true. I was in and out in about 45 minutes. Dr. Vahdati is super good at giving the dreaded shots, didn't feel the first one at all, and just a tiny bit on the 2nd tooth. Cared about my fear and provided me with every option he could to make me as relaxed as possible. Didnt have earphones, so had speakers in the office turned up super loud so I would not hear the drills, so nice of him. Gave me dark shades and specific reassuring instructions. The best part, was this bite block, he put in back of my mouth, OMG game changer~!! Not having to keep my mouth open and getting sore is the big difference. To be honest, I almost fell asleep. LOL. My daughter referred me to a dental office in the Santa Area area which was frustrating because I live over 2 hours away but I was in so much pain. I tried several dental and "specialist" offices by me that were unbelievably disappointing. I finally gave in and went to the dental office my daughter referred me to and they seen me and realized that a needed a specialist to correct the horrific work and other treatment. I was in tears from months of pain and was finally brought upon the extraordinary hands and blessings of Dr. Alexander. I am beyond pleased with his work with having 2 root canals with one being a fix from someone else. When he says painless that's just what it is because the 2 root canals I didn't experience any pain during or afterwards and was falling asleep during the procedure. He even checked in on me after hours o to see if I was experiencing pain. I had to do go back twice for him to correct the mistake of the previous dentist... which if you need a root canal go to someone who specializes in that area ...hint hint DR. ALEXANDER!!!! I hope I'll never need another procedure again but if I do I'm making an appointment with him without hesitation. He made me want to fix things that didn't exist . He made my experience less anxiety stricken and created a comfortable space to feel confident about getting the work done. He is absolutely knowledgeable, patient, determined, comforting, funny, welcoming, caring, and most importantly HONEST and an EXPERT! Dr.Alexander took the time to explain treatment from the start to finish. He made things understandable about what I needed, what he was doing, and what my options were. I didn't feel like he was rushing to get to his next client even if he was. Now, as far as the staff hands down because they are all amazing. Their demeanor is always pleasant. The process was simple getting started from appointments especially without money insurance gimmicks. They were thorough with explaining insurance, out of pocket and treatment total. Dr. Alexander was nothing short of amazing, patient, thorough, calm and knowledgeable! He's very easy on the eyes as well so that made my experience even more memorable than I had imagined lol. I came in for a root canal that was giving me great grief. Dr. Alexander asked me I wanted him to keep me updated on the steps he was doing while working on my mouth and to his surprise I said "yes". To my surprise, he actually kept his word and explained in great detail with reason why he each step was necessary. There's this new technology offered there called Gentle Wave that allows extra cleaning of the canal that I opted for. He made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire 45min process, I wasn't even aware that he was finished! Definitely recommend SoCal. Dr Vahdati was amazing as well as his whole staff. I have very bad anxiety (Many dentists have said one of the worst cases they've seen) and was very scared about having a root canal retreat. Especially since in the past I have had not so nice dental experiences that any dental procedure really scares me now. From the very beginning starting with the ladies in the front office they were very nice , understanding, and kept reassuring me everything was going to be okay and I wouldn't feel a thing. They handled everything with the insurance for me and setting up the appointments were a breeze. Someone told me that they have some patients drive all the way from San Francisco to come to them because they are that good and I absolutely believe it. Then the day of I was really nervous but they prescribed me some medicine to bring to the office to keep me relaxed and Dr. Vahdati and the rest of his staff were just extremely nice and supportive and never once got impatient with me for being so nervous. His assistant showed me the hand signals to stop or for the water/vacuum which was great. They were very attentive and compassionate to me. Once they started I began to calm down because I didn't feel anything and felt safe. Actually at one point I started falling asleep. Before I knew it it was over and they were able to save my tooth! I highly recommend SoCal micro Endodontics. I would've given them 10+ stars if I could. Thank you so much guys and sorry my review was a couple weeks late. The procedure was explained to me thoroughly before going through with it. I did the gentle wave procedure that was recommended and loved it! I'm a person that's super scared of the dentist because of past experiences and a big baby when it comes to tooth pain...but I did not feel a SINGLE thing during the procedure and I was extremely grateful for having such a great specialist doing the work on my tooth. I am super surprised by the reviews for SoCal Mirco Endodontics. I had the complete opposite visit. Unwilling to help, didn't provide everything I needed over the phone. Plain rude, meanwhile my child can hear them talking shit about our appointment. The gal from the referring office called me back and offered to find me another endodontic because of how rude they were to her over the phone. I don't know her name who didn't want to help but she has a flower tattoo on her neck. WASTED TIME & ENERGY and to top it off we didn't even get scene.
