I was nervous about going to the dentist while pregnant but Dr. (Mrs) M made it a very comfortable experience. I feel like I was thoroughly educated on how I needed to care for my teeth and risks of going without care. Additionally, I started seeing Dr. Garcia since she is available in the afternoon some days. She is approachable and really thoughtful in her care. I have teeth sensitivity and they used warm water to rinse so it didn't hurt. I hate injections and it was not bad at all, I think a steady hand helps and the topical lidocaine. I feel confident in my oral health that I can have healthy teeth for many years to come. The dental assistants are kind too. Maybe not similar to a spa, but there are dark sunglasses to minimize the glare of the light needed to work on your teeth. A neck pillow is given which is more comfortable than one you'd bring on an international flight, to avoid any kinks from happening. They can get you a blanket if you run on the cold side and you even get to pick the flavor they use when polishing your teeth! I'm a Strawberry or Mint girl. The swag bag is off the charts. You get a new toothbrush, toothpaste, some floss, a pen, mouthwash, and a business card showing their appreciation of you. I recall they offered flexible plans when I was a private pay patient. Now with my insurance, they make sure I maximize the benefits my plan offers. They're conveniently located in Orange, off Lincoln and Tustin. There's plenty of parking available in the lot. The restroom is often stocked with toiletries which can help you freshen up a bit before continuing on with your day. While you're in the chair, you can see your pearly whites on the screen above so you know what they're telling you matches what you're viewing.
