We didn't want to begin the remodel without first addressing the hard water issue, so we started calling companies to get bids for a water softener system. What immediately set Chris apart was how patient and thorough he was. He spent over an hour answering our questions and never made us feel rushed. My brother is very research-oriented and had a lot of detailed questions, and since Chris was our third bid, we had accumulated even more questions along the way. Chris took the time to explain everything clearly and in depth. It was obvious that Chris truly knows his craft. He educated us on many aspects of water treatment. Also, he's a licensed plumber, and we wanted to make sure we went with a company that's either licensed for plumbing or water treatment--preferably plumbing. We ultimately chose a larger one-tank softener system along with a reverse osmosis system for our kitchen, including a dedicated RO line to our refrigerator. While Chris's price was a few hundred dollars lower than the other two quotes, what mattered more was that, after researching, we found his equipment--both the softener and the RO system--to be higher quality than what the competitors offered.
