This is the best liquor store in the world. I drive from Huntington Beach to come to this store. They have a fantastic selection and the folks that work there are very helpful in helping you pick out the perfect bottle. I had to buy some rum for a friend. I know nothing about rum. Fortunately, the clerk recommended a bottle. Not the cheapest nor most expensive but reasonably price and my friend loved it. They also have their own barrels of bourbon from time to time which are really fantastic. And the prices are fair and reasonable. They are competitive with Costco prices with a much larger selection. read more

They've got great barrel picks and an awesome selection of allocated bourbons and whiskies. Did I say they have great barrel picks? And oh yeah, I hope they build out a cellar one day or atleast move those nice wines away from that window. I would buy the nicer wines here if the bottles were properly stored. Went there today after hearing about it from a friend. They have a decent selection of whisky, bourbons and beer. That's what I drink and then had a good selection including some rare bourbons I usually can't find. Even bigger plus the prices are better if not comparable to total wine. Didn't write a review after this first time because the store is normally great, but now after several visits unfortunately I won't be going back. How can you still be letting shoppers that don't wear masks? Some of the bourbon you get is certainly hard to find, but COVID isn't. It's a recipe for getting others sick and it's just not worth it. John is a great dude who is always willing to go the extra mile for you. All you have to do is ask him and he will try to make it happen. I was looking for a specific hard to find bourbon (happens a lot these days) and he immediately called his supplier and secured an order for some bottles to be delivered in a couple of days. He took down my number and told me he would call when it arrived. Since I had not made any financial investment yet I was curious to see if he would actually call me or just sell it to the next person asking for it. He called me and had kept it off the shelf until I grabbed the amount I wanted. Great service and selection with reasonable prices. I am so impressed with the new ownership at SoCal Wine & Spirits. "John" is a super guy. Very friendly, helpful, & knowledgeable, What they've done with the place inside & out is great! I've enjoyed watching the all the upgrades transpire. What a difference the new owner has made - like night & day! And their pricing is so reasonable that I no longer have to go to 3 other places to make my purchases. One stop & I'm done. I've been spreading the word to friends, family, & neighbors. Also, I've been asked by employees that knew me at the 3 other places I used to go "Where have you been? Haven't seen you in awhile". Oh my gosh I'm so happy I found this little gem! Amazing prices and excellent and knowledgeable service! I was dreading going to Costco for the large Belvedere Vodka for my party tomorrow...so I yelped a store close by that sold wine and spirits. They had the same size for the same price...maybe even cheaper! It was under $40! Plus they had a special for $6 bottle of Skyy vodka. Anyway, a total score for me tonight. They also had a HUGE variety of liquor to choose from. This will definitely be my new go to for any spirits in the future. Yay! read more

Amazing customer service! I live in DC and wanted to send a bottle of wine as gift to a friend who lives nearby. John was extremely helpful in coordinating the order ensuring that I could get it delivered the same day. Mike was wonderful in helping to finalizing the order and getting it delivered. Mike even went out of his way to type up the note attached to gift on my behalf. Wow!! Can't get better than that! I checked other major wine businesses and I was told they didn't carry the wine I was looking for, I came here and they didn't have it, but offered to order it and had it 2 days later and a much better price than the major stores, it is worth the drive. read more
