So much liquor and wine! The owner was so chill and friendly. They actually had Mike's Hard Lemonade in cans for $2.25 which saved me a trip to 7-11. Sweet! We were super impressed with the selection. The store was very clean and not even close to the creepy vibe of most liquor stores

This is a great local liquor store with a huge selection and friendly staff. Frank the owner is super helpful and kind, great customer service. Great, well stocked well organized liquor store with good customer service...They have many brands in their store and while its kind of small store you cant found many items! Did this place recently change owners?? I have been coming here since I moved a year ago, and was always helped by the same gentleman man. Now it's different people. I've purchased a few items from here and the scanner never works. These are the same items I've been purchasing here for a year, so I know around how much I'm spending. In the three times I've gone in since I noticed the change (about 2 weeks), I have purchased the same item and depending on the older woman, older man or the younger man, it's a different price. Scanner never works but also it is not even on, the red light doesn't reflect off the barcode anymore. Also, now I guess it's .50 cents or .75 cents when you Pay with a card, and again that depends on who is charging you. I really like giving my business to small businesses instead of across the street at the grocery store, but now it just feels a like they are trying to see how much they can get away with prices, charging people extra, etc. read more

Love this place. Customer service is top notch. Chatted with Frank a few times now and both times, he was patient and answered all my questions about whiskey. I called about a rare bottle but they were extremely busy so I told them I would call back another day. A few hours later, got a call from them telling me they would hold the bottle for me. Thumbs up to these guys. You guys know how to run a joint. read more

Went in and checked this place out on the suggestion of a friend. Was told Frank has some hard to find bottles of bourbon and he doesn't charge a fools price. Upon walking in, I was greeted by the man himself. Frank was quick to talk bourbon with me with great pride and enthusiasm. No presumption on what I may or may not know, he took me right over the the good stuff. We talked for a bit and I settled on a bottle of Old Elk Straight Bourbon. Frank knows his stuff and shares his knowledge freely. Plus his Mom was there helping customers too. A family affair, in a small business and an everyone counts vibe that is so lacking with most businesses these days. Definitely headed back for more bottles. And definitely going to check out their wine selection next time as well! read more

This review is wwwaaaayyy past due! When I lived in Orange County, this was one of my usual spots. What they lack in square footage, they make up for in the selection (a lot of craft beers and whiskeys that are a little more tough to find). The place appears to be a family run business and Frank is great! He suggested a nice stout when I first met him and when I first went into the store. Kept on coming back and bought a few beers and whiskeys here and there. Every time I come in Frank is asking how I'm doing and as a matter of fact, even after I moved to LA, he was able to hold a bottle of whiskey I was looking for until I was able to drive down and pick it up. Classic you treat these folks right, they will treat you right. Very reasonable prices for what you get as well. Love coming to this place! Be weary of the guy who says the reviews are from 'Phantom Shoppers'...says a guy who looks like he set up an account with no pics just to write a couple of inflammatory reviews and one based on the fact that he didn't have the money to make a purchase...with all due respect, that just seems very shady to me. read more

Great find. If you didn't do a lot of research you might just drive by the place as it looks quite ordinary from the street. Go inside and start talking to the staff and discover how knowledgeable they are. Their selection of craft beer is amazing and they really know their whisky as well. read more

Called multiple places looking for a specific bottle of whiskey and stopped at East Hills Liquor in A. Hills because I happened to be in the shopping center. They didn't have what I was looking but offered to call their sister store, Red Hill Liquor, for me - not only did the have the bottle I was looking, they offered to transfer the bottle for me so I wouldn't need to drive. I ended up making the drive anyway and have to say I'm incredibly impressed with the friendliness of everyone I encountered, the reasonable prices, and the level of customer service that was offered...I would highly recommend both businesses and will definitely be back. read more

Frank was very helpful and informative during my first visit to Red Hill Liquor. These reviews are posted by phantom shoppers. I have been coming here ten years and spend an average of $1,000 a year. Today, I was short $1 on a can of Copenhagen. I come here about every day and talk to Sam frequently.. Since I didn't have my wallet, I went to the car and found another .85 cents. His employee then whips out a calculator and decides he will let me slide on the .15 cents I was short.. Really! Not like they won't see me again, We'll now they wont. The prices are very high, but you pay for the convenience. Also, the cash register is hidden and you can't see what they are ringing up.. I wish someone here would open up a customer friendly neighborhood liquor store.. I called back after I got home becuase I was a little perturbed and I asked if I offended him for some reason, thus the attitude.. His employee stated, "I regularly have customers much worse than you, I don't take it personal"...... What the Hell? read more

What a store!!! I had been looking for Lagunitas' Waldos since I couldn't find it anywhere close and here it is.. Best craft beer selection and great customer service .. From now on I will make this my go to store. As for the guy Ron L with 1 star Review and 1 dollar short, I wouldn't give myself so much credit if I was you! Try going to your local convenience store (i.e. 7-11) with not enough money and see what it gets you!! Nobody gives a rats a$$ if you don't come back, especially not the owners, I'm sure!! Take your business to Costco, Vons or CVS and I'm SURE they will NOT cover you when you are a dollar short! read more

Came here as a side excursion on a recent business trip to Anaheim. I have to say: wow! Great selection of high end Bourbon and Rue whiskies. Hard to find stuff at reasonable prices that really impressed me, without having to buy on the internet. I'm coming back when I'm in the area. read more

I don't live in Orange, but I have some friends that do so I am in Orange a lot. Whenever I am in the area, red hill liquor is the go to liquor store without question. Frank and his family are the nicest people, and are very accommodating especially when compared to other liquor stores. Their selection is incredible, and if there is something you are looking for and they do not have, they will truly do what they can to get the product for you. I could go on and on about this store, but if you are looking for a liquor store with great selection, and even better people working there, Red Hill is the place to go. read more

When I buy liquor I think the last thing on my mind is that I am going to smile the whole time I am doing it. Not only does red Hill have an amazing whiskey selection but Frank and his wife couldn't have been nicer and made me laugh a lot as they took me through the selection. The guy working said to the people in front of me that they sold out. It was my turn I asked if they had it and the guy said that they had a line since 3pm and that they sold out of the keg. We ended up getting two beers since we went anyways but that's when things didn't add up. He kept telling all the other people that started to show up the same thing. These are reasons why it didn't add up 1) empty seats inside but had a line since 3pm and beer was released at 4pm 2) I don't think the people going for younger would just order one beer and not try other RR beers? 3) only one guy working beer counter and having to clean the tables and make sandwiches? 4) 12 oz pours of beer and keg with about 1984 oz would make it 166 beers. No way they sold 166 beers in an hour with one person working the bar and shop empty in an hour. They could have posted on their instagram or socials that they sold out but failed to do so. I'm sure a lot of people all night were disappointed to see that they didn't have it or post anything about it.

There's a good mix of indoor and outdoor seating with both small and large tables, plus plenty of bar seating both inside and out. The space is very clean, modern, and aesthetically pleasing. They also have TVs inside and play music, but not so loud that you can't hold a conversation. Workers were friendly and helpful. I tried two different hazy IPAs and both were great. They also have rotating food trucks. I saw a lot of people ordering some wild looking drinks topped with whipped cream or even ice cream, which looked interesting. Overall a really solid brewery and I'd definitely come back.

One of the beers we got is the Tropical Hideaway, which really reminds me of the pineapple Dole whip at Disneyland. It's a smoothie-style beer with lots of tropical flavor. Tons of tables outside to hang out, and when we went there was a food truck with great smash burgers outside. And the bartenders are super knowledgeable about the beer -- we got some great recs. The selection is solid and the quality is consistently high -- I highly recommend the beers themselves. That said, I can't give 5 stars after a recent visit. I ordered an $8 beer, opened a tab, and then had to leave unexpectedly right after (didn't even get to drink it). I assumed any unclosed tab would default to a standard 20% tip. Instead, I was charged $14.16 total , which works out to roughly a 68% tip on the beer. I understand that open tabs are annoying for the staff, and things happen. But when you don't have a working phone or aren't given the chance to close out, a nearly 70% automatic charge feels excessive. A clearer policy or lower default gratuity on abandoned tabs would go a long way. Plenty of great beer options in SoCal, so this definitely stings. Hoping they reconsider the approach.

By far the best place to buy your alcohol. I love the prices, the best in town and the customer service is exceptional amazing super friendly and welcoming. Frank is the man, since he took over, this place looks completely different.. A huge selection of hard to get Scotch, Bourbon and craft.. Its a family owned store and I love to go there have a short conversation with the owner and pick up my favorite bourbon Eagle Rare and btw They hand select their Eagle Rare Bourbon.. You don't see a lot of liquor stores with drive thru. .Great location and easy in and out.. Family owned and managed businesd..They have the best craft and bourbon selection even some hard to find bottles..The owner Frank is very intelligent and knowledgeable and gave me some great suggest of DIPA..Highly recommended read more

All 'liquor stores' in the area are basically convenience stores, but Red Hill has unique liquor that a larger store might carry. I'm not a local but when I'm back in the area, this will be a must stop for the week. read more
