Terrible customer service. When you walk in you don't know who the hell works there as no one says anything. But the biggest gripe is the false advertising. The sign clearly says $29.99 for all crown royal not $29.99 for only regular crown royal. Mind you, thet3 is no "regular crown royal" on the shwlves. Showed the cashier the sign and did they correct it? Nope, "that means for regular crown royal". I would definitely not recommend this place...only if you want to be price gouged. Ok, understand that a lot of people drink alcohol and a lot don't. Sometimes you just feel like you want to try something that you saw on TV or someone said was good. Well that happened to us. Saw something and just want to give it a try. The problem is we were looking for something obscure and when looking it up on the internet it didn't seem like a popular drink that would carried in most liquor store. Low and behold, we look for a place with the drink we wanted and the only place that pops up is Nady's Liquor. This place seemed to have more selections than a BevMo. We found both items that we wanted to try and were surprised at the different items they did have. The guys working that night were very helpful and let us know what they sell and don't sell and why. If you are going down MacArthur Blvd in Santa Ana, before Main Street and looking for something to drink, even if it is not alcohol, stop in and get something. read more

I was wondering why anyone would give a liquor store five stars, but this one was quite exceptional. I needed to pick up a gift for a very special friend ahead of dinner near fashion Island. I stopped by this place, and there was an amazing selection of top shelf tequilas. They had multiple varieties of Casa Azul. They also had a very good selection of whiskey and, vodka as well as bourbon, although I have to admit that I did not spend too much time, browsing the selection. The staff was very helpful and pointed me in the right direction for an appropriate gift. Pricing I thought was reasonable, although do expect a bit of a markup from what you would pay at beverage outlets. read more

Been coming here for a couple years. Super convenient. Awesome owner and staff. Always eager to help or just have a friendly chat. I'm in sales and one of my coworkers sold a sweet older lady as a client while we were on a Sales Blitz in Sonoma valley.. When making the house call he noticed she had a huge collection of wine. She was so happy with the service she gave him a couple bottles to take home. He brought It back to the crew. Regaled us with the story and not being the biggest wine enthusiasts we Cheers'd and smashed the bottles between us in about 10 mins. One bottle was a red wine and we all agreed, it was freakin delicious!. After which we noticed the age on the bottle was a 1985 something or other. Wanting to preserve the memory we took a couple pics of the bottle and didn't think much of It. The next week. I happened to to be in my spot Nady's here havin a chat with the owner. And I told the story. Personally a couple free nice bottles of wine from a client was a good enough for a great story. He however asked to see the pictures of the bottles and felt inclined to look it up. TURNS OUT!!! To my utter shock, dismay and bit of embarrassment, this bottle was a near ONE OF A KIND. It was the very last batch of a private reserve from a famous vineyard before being purchased by/partnering with some other famous vineyard. Something like only 50 bottles in existence perfectly aged for drinking. Some would say priceless. And I was told at auction could fetch on the ballpark of $50GRAND!!!! .... and we smashed It in 10mins. FML THANKS NADY'S! Your booze makes me feel great but today you made me feel like crap. Haha. Jose helped me out and was friendly, helpful and really knowledgeable on what they sell- amazing how he knew prices of all items. 1 star because the only employee at the register was not wearing a mask, even when assisting around the store. The thin piece of plastic that was hung from a string near the register did not look like it went low enough to cover the employee's mouth or nose. If it does not provide adequate coverage for him, how would it promote safety for customers? Not to mention I saw customers go in and out without masks. They'll have a sign for a bottle for $64.99 (exact whiskey name and price in LARGE bold lettering) and then the cashier scanned the item in as $69.99 and won't change it. He also refused to look at the price even though it was literally 5 feet away. We still purchased the bottle since it isn't easy to find what we wanted specifically, but definitely not coming back here for most other bottles they had since you can easily find at other places for cheaper and advertised pricing. read more

Not from the area was on the way to visit a friend visiting in one the surrounding hotels. Saw this place and went to get like a pint of jack or Smirnoff blue.. and what do my eyes see.. like Disneyland for the whiskey and all spirit lovers. It was busy as locals in halloween costumes ready to party were making there pregame stop. I was a kid in the candy store. It appears family owned which is nice and the two younger gentlemen who appear to be brothers were very helpful and patient with me like they see this often. I must say anyone in the tri-county area must make a stop and say to big corp bevmo or the other mom and pops with no range. Used the Drizly APP to order champagne for New Year's Eve. I ordered 4 bottles and Nady's marked the order delivered but it never was delivered. I called Nady's and they said it wasn't their problem, a driver came and picked it up, and it's not their responsibility to follow up. I called Drizly, who said it IS the business's responsibility to arrange the delivery. I called Nady's back and left a message to have the owner call me back. He never did, later that day I called again and spoke to the owner, Luvy. Luvy never apologized for not calling me back, said they use Uber or Door Dash to have the orders delivered, and knows they often mess things up, and that he has no time to report the bad drivers. Plus, he said he has insurance so he doesn't need to do anything. So Navy said he would PERSONALLY deliver the order within 2 hours. Well, HE NEVER DID... I never heard from him and he has not delivered our order yet. It's been over 12 hours. He is completely unresponsive as is his staff. I am more than disappointed with this business. I will be ordering a charge back with AMEX and also reporting to Drizly to remove them from their service. This is not good business given these times. They obviously do not care about their customers. read more
