First and foremost, it is what the name says. They have five softball/baseball diamonds with a…read morecovered pavilion seating area in between and multiple soccer fields. There is also a playground area, batting cages, bocce courts(!), and a pond with a trail. You'll often see someone fishing along the side of the pond (by a gazebo), lots of walkers and joggers, and the many parents and children using the fields. For those attending sporting events, there is a small concession stand and indoor bathrooms as well. Parking is plentiful. My main interaction with the park is from many walks around the trail or biking through as it connects to the larger bike trail system, and it's ideal for both! It's a wonderful place for a stroll in the evening to unwind from the day.

What a wonderful sports park!…read more As an Iowa City native, I was shocked to know this existed. It is less than five years old. This review is only based on the youth soccer fields at this park. My kiddos have done Tiny Tot soccer here multiple seasons-- in the spring, summer and fall. I love that the complex is easy to navigate, I adore that there are indoor bathrooms and that the parking is plentiful! There are nine well maintained youth soccer fields (which I think turns into three full-size soccer fields?) It also can host flag football. I've peeped the ball fields, there are five. Batting cages live here! The pavilion is nice, with shade. It appears to connect to some trails in the neighborhood? There are couple shelters, too. Coralville Youth Sports Park checks all the boxes. While it isn't SUPER convenient for us Iowa City residents to drive to, it is a perfect location for anyone in Coralville/North Liberty! What a great addition that was much needed.

It was early in the day, and the staff let us just look around and it was really huge and clean and they had just a ton of options as far as a gym or sports complex goes. Really very cool and glad we stopped in.

I like that the technology is modern enough to bring the bumpers up when you vindicated that is needed for that child as well as they have assist to roll the ball down the lane. We did notice some inconsistencies with the scoring as the unit that would drop down to pick up the pens, wood in advertently knock them over so the scoring was a little off. On weekends, it is five dollars per person per game. Service was good, the food was meh as we just had pizza, and I found it quite greasy and already not agreeing with me. The beer was cold though, and a Michelob ultra draught was $4.50, which we find pretty reasonable compared to what we pay at home It is super loud in the arcade area and you need to get through that before you get back to the bowling alley, we found the sound levels in the bowling alley just fine. I'm not sure. I could spend an entire day here though, lol. There were a ton of people here Playing in Ball leagues and such. Pretty active place and it looks like they do pretty well.
