This place has a great selection. The young girl that works there was super helpful in deciding what cleat was right for me. There's also not really any soccer stores around except this one. HOWEVER, I would check pricing or shop around, particularly online, before you buy. The cleats are all around $10 above MSRP. The ones I was interested in were available online for $30 less and they don't match pricing. The shipping and return process was disappointing. I paid for two-day priority shipping, but my order didn't arrive until a week later. Customer service would not refund the shipping cost or provide a free return label. Don't bother with priority shipping either as the ETAs were all over the place. I would give zero stars if I could. The entire experience was a frustration from start to finish. It took three weeks just for my daughter's cleats to process and ship. When they finally arrived, they were too small. I reached out for an exchange, only to be told they were out of stock in the size I needed. To make matters worse, I am being forced to pay the return shipping costs for an order that already took far too long to arrive. I ordered over $650 worth of uniforms and apparel. I realized I accidentally ordered 3 custom backpacks as opposed to one when I received my order in the mail. I quickly reached out to customer service and they said they were unable to refund me since the backpacks were custom with the jersey number on them. I asked for a partial refund for one of the three backpacks which is of $60 value and they still denied. This is poor customer service and I will not suggest ordering from them as they are unwilling to meet in the middle for something that could have been their mistake. read more

Made an order online, the order was manually cancelled by the shop support because the customer service decided my order could be fraudlent and thus they " did not feel comfortable processing the payment for your order". Great place to get good soccer gear. The staff are very knowledgeable about all the right equipment for different players (strikers, Midfielder, goalies, etc.) and can pair the correct gear with the correct position. I played soccer all throughout High school and 3 years on the Varsity college team...needless to say, I LOVE SOCCER/ I'M A SOCCER HOOLIGAN! If I ever need new cleats, shin/ankle guards, etc., I come here, not Dick's. They have jerseys of all the great players, as well as posters, and DVDs of the past World Cups, Olympics, Pele (greatest soccer player EVER!), and instructional videos for beginners. I wouldn't even give 1 star if I could. Order placed at beginning of July and it is now Sept 22 and still missing order. Zero response from customer service. They don't care. Soccer Village is THE place for soccer players, coaches, and even fans. I just stopped into their main location in Blue Ash and was very impressed and almost surprised with the store. The store itself was extremely nice and neither to big nor too small and it had everything a soccer player--recreational or highly competitive--might want or need. Soccer Village had a large selection of shoes from top brands such as Puma, Diadora, and Nike. They also had socks, shorts, "performance wear," water bottles, cones (for drills), headbands, gloves, and a goalkeeper-specific section. They also had a rack of clothing and some flags in the windows representing local youth teams (Sycamore Arsenal, Cincinnati United Premier), which showed its support for the area soccer players. A really neat thing they also had was a machine called "Step Fit" which, I think, electronically determines ones shoe size. For the soccer fan, they had a great assortment of jerseys and jackets. From the conventional David Beckham L.A. Galaxy jersey to those of the top international teams and clubs (Italy, Ireland, FC Barcelona, Arsenal, etc.), I was definitely impressed with the selection of jerseys ($70) and other team apparel such as jackets. They also had posters, which is cool because I haven't seen soccer posters anywhere else around. Soccer Village as a whole "has grown to one of the nation's largest uniform and equipment retailers," thanks in part to SoccerVillage.com, which is "one of the nation's most comprehensive and competitively priced soccer sites on the Internet," according to the site. Just when I thought the store was cool, I soon realized how much else is out there online from Soccer Village. I haven't played organized soccer in maybe eight years, and I don't watch much on television outside of the World Cup every four years, but Soccer Village almost turned me into a major soccer fan. On numerous occasions i have been let down by soccer village. First and most common complaint is lack of knowledgeable staff. They are not up to date with the products they are selling. Though i want to keep business in town, it is easier, cheaper, and on a whole a much better experience just buy from Eurosport and even England soccer stores such as Kitbag. Hell, i can get a authentic jersey quicker and cheaper than if needing to order it from Soccer Village from Kitbag. And with out getting into a huge story. I buy a set of jerseys each season on average for our soccer teams. This past season i opted to keep it in town with Soccer Village. HUGE MISTAKE ended up costing more, taking over a month and was just a pain in the ass. The Rep helping me would not respond quickly if at all during the ordering process. And heaven help you if you need to add an extra jersey after the fact. WE had an unexpected need for 4 more shirts. Though shirts prices were fine. They wanted almost $200 to screen and number 4 shirts. I STRONGLY recommend using someone else for team orders. read more

As someone with a child in select soccer and as a person who still plays soccer themselves I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars at Soccer Village in uniforms, equipment, bags, shoes, balls, etc. After a recent unpleasant experience trying to return something that I was given for Christmas I can tell you I have made my last ever purchase in their stores. In a day in age where online shopping is convenient, economical, and customer oriented, local small businesses will survive and thrive by providing a unique experience and delivering amazing customer service. Soccer Village misses the mark on this by a huge margin. It was a five-star review until we waited (and are still waiting) 2 1/2 months for uniforms for my daughter's soccer team. She's already played 4 games without her jersey, having to borrow a jersey from an older age group not the correct size. Other girls on the team in the same situation. Poor, unprofessional, disappointing service... when a team purchase is involved, watch out for discontinued, back ordered, failed to ship, etc. Office staff did not returned repeated phone calls, order was filled partially, then left to lay in the warehouse for months. Call after call, email after email, I finally get a response when I offer to make a consumer complaint to my credit card holder and the BBB. They have a monopoly on Cinci area consumers, and they use it well. Be advised and make plans to soccer shop online or anywhere other than Cinci. read more
