RRT is so much bigger than it looks from the outside. Speaking of outside, if you love the Great Outdoors, this is your store! I walked in and we were instantly greeted by the staff in a helpful, non pressure sort of way. To the left was allllll the paddling goodness of boats, life jackets, paddles, and accessories. I drooled at the high quality products they had in that sector. To the right was all kinds of the best outdoor clothing brands with everything from casual daywear, to the goods for your outdoor adventures... or hell even just to keep you warm or dry even if you arent outdoorsy. There was some items highlighting more local places like the Red River Gorge which I thought was very unique. I made my way further towards the back and was distracted by the shiny Sherpa bracelets and ended up taking one home! Towards the way back of the store is climbing and backpacking goodies. They have a nice selection of packs in store and it is important you try them out before buying which they encourage. There is a huge wall of books on everything you could think of ... yep you guessed it... outdoors. I could spend hours in this place... AND a lot of money. Not because their prices are high, but because they have such great products! I took some time to talk to the girls at the desk about their events (see sign board behind the checkout). They do boat demo events or for a small fee you can have a private demo. Did you know they offer gear rental? Outdoor products can be a big investment and sometimes its nice to try things out first for longer than just a quick try on or demo event! Need help planning a trip? Look no further! Have something that needs repair... again these are your people! Have you taken the plunge into a sport and need help installing your car rack? Yep they do that too! More in depth events can also be found on their website including an upcoming hike for your health series and some seminars on backpacking, trips, and kayaking! They often do events for charity including the upcoming fashion show to benefit the Adventure crew! Please come by and browse, no pressure to buy, and if youre a newbie to the outdoor world, you too, will truly be welcomed here and into the community!

Truly one of the best shops for outdoor equipment. I also purchased a Cincinnati T-Shirt that I really dig recently. Love RRT!

Have you been to Dicks on Montgomery lately? I'm sure you have as you're all runners out there...I…read moresee ya. Lol Well yesterday the hubby and I stopped in. For many seasons I've been wanting a particular shoe. Not just any shoe-the most comfortable shoe to walk in. And let me just say...it's been elusive to me. Not all of you though because I see ya wearing them and I always say, "Hey! Where did you buy your Hokas around here?? I've been everywhere!" (Obviously I haven't but in my mind I have since I have a nice supply of other brands that didn't make the cut in my closet on my hunt for this brand, lol. Call me a collector.) Before I get to the point-I promise I will, let me just say it's been a couple years since I've been in this Dicks. But last time I was, they didn't have any Hokas, and they had a walking track around their shoes area. After doing a Google search as I was out and about, the hubby was tired of hearing how my feet hurt and starting looking for shoes stores so I thought I should participate. The search kept saying only 3 stores carried them and two of them were in KY. One e of those was Dicks. So we decided to drive to our local one. The point: (Told ya I'd get here ) Making my way to the back of the very clean and organized store, the heavens parted and I heard angels singing-it was really a baby crying but I snapped to reality rubbing my eyes in disbelief at what I was seeing! Hokas!! And not just a few pairs-a whole designated section of them! I promptly shoved my hubby and the crying baby out of the way, calm down this is all mental lol, and made my first pick. Scanned the shoe's barcode in a scanner, and out popped a young man almost instantaneously to serve me. Was it meant to be? Ohh yes. The comfort, the immediate relief on my feet! I was being propelled forward to walk as if these babies were one with body. I boxed them up. Said yes to the shoe. The hubby said aren't you going to try on others? I said, "I found the truth. There is no other. Now go pick yourself out a pair." Lol He did. And he tried on two just because he likes to overachieve. But he settled on the first pair he tried on which, by the way, was the same model as mine only mine are cooler looking. He found the truth too. And the prices were comparable to what's out there so I was happy! Do you want the same experience? Do your feet hurt in your other expensive gym shoes?? Dicks on Montgomery Rd has it. Don't walk-run, but only after you visit Dicks. *Disclaimer: No actual baby was harmed in the writing of this review.

Then they told us the shoes I wanted they didn't have two times and had to wait even longer. Some really crappy service. Final review 2 stars, still go to dicks it's just my experience.

In past reviews I have talked up Montgomery's Baseball Card Corner and Kenwood Towne Center's…read moreCardboard Heroes, but I just found a great store in Milford that is somewhat of a combination of the two. Power Play Sports is a must shop for any sports fan with their huge jersey and hat selections, as well as other clothing and sports collectibles. As far as jerseys go, Power Play has a ton of Bengals and Reds, but also a large selection of jerseys from other pro teams from across the country, similar to Cardboard Heroes. What I found really interesting was that they had all three Notre Dame football jerseys, including the "lucky" green ones, and an Irish basketball jersey. They even have Tennessee football jerseys and the Volunteers' black alternate basketball jersey. Very cool. Even if you don't like those teams, the fact that a store in Milford, Ohio has that kind of selection is pretty neat. With regards to collectibles, I didn't spend too much time looking at these, but they have a ton of mini NFL helmets, and a nice selection of baseball cards. Similar to Baseball Card Corner, they have a lot of cards with game-worn jersey pieces and autographs, although their selection of autographed cards priced at $5 does not include big name athletes. What was neat about their cards was that they had a lot of them organized by team, so you don't need to sort through boxes and boxes just to find one athlete, although I'm sure the Colorado Rockies/Kansas City Royals box doesn't get browsed through too often. The walls on the left side of the store are covered with hundreds of hats. If you want the typical UC or Ohio State or Reds, for example, the selection is good, but they have a ton of others to choose from like Lids/Hat World. Also on the left side was a ton of jerseys and clothing for children, making it a great store for fans of all ages. Whether you want jerseys, jackets, basketball shorts, headbands, license frames, flags, baseball cards, or even Chad Johnson's biography (it is 50-percent off, by the way), Power Play Sports is the place to be. Despite its name, it's not the real destination for hockey fans, but if you like baseball, basketball, and football then they have a ton of great stuff.

Ghost town vibes for sure however the grand architecture within the building is worth walking around in. The only difficulty we had was finding parking. So we went and it was really hot up there. I see another review from 2022 about it being hot so I guess they never did fix that AC :P anyway the guy was nice who worked there, friendly and I felt bad he has to sit in that hot store all day. We got our stuff and left. We are constantly threatened by a series of potential disasters, both natural and man-made. For someone new to being a Survivalist building your first Bug Out Bag can seem like a big task. Everybody you read about has been tweaking theirs for months or even years and has a pile of gear built up. The military load bearing system is set up in a 3 day (web gear), 5-7 day (rucksack), and a 14 day (duffle bag/footlocker). It's hard to know where to start, but if you cover all of the basics in a survival situation you will still be much better off than 99% of the people. A Bug Out Bag, (also called a BOB, Get Out of Dodge Bag, GOOD, or 72 Hour Bag) is usually designed to get you out of an emergency situation and allow you to survive self-contained for up to 3 days. A lot of people plan their Bug Out Bag to sustain them for much longer than that, but there is always a limit to what you can carry on your back and a 3 day target is a good place to start. I like how Preppers Edge has developed a complete line of Bug Out Bags that range from short or long term needs. Taking the guess work out of what to pack is of vital importance to me. I've spent countless hours of research on the web and have concluded that Preppers Edge offers the most comprehensive and well assembled bags money can buy.
