A small store with not a lot of selections, but the prices are good and you might find something. It's easy to park and run in.

Always rude. They will continually tell you ( no matter what day or time ) they are understaffed . I have left my name , address and phone at least 4 times to volunteer. The 2 volunteers that were there , were chit chatting. No customers . When I wanted to provide my details again , the woman looked at me like I asked for a kidney . Everyone has bad days , I get it. However these women never have one good day . I'm glad they never called me. Can't imagine being around such miserable women . By the way , if someone wants a damn receipt for the donations that's their right. Your eye rolling is beyond unacceptable read more

I went to the Holly Thrift shop to drop off a few donations and was confused about where the back entrance was. So I went through the front door to drop off my donations. The volunteer read me the riot act about coming through the front door. When I explained that I couldn't find the donation door in the back she proceeded to scold me even more. I've lived in this area for many years and have dropped off many donations to your thrift shop. This is the first time I've ever experienced someone so totally rude. I'm spreading the word concerning my treatment and will not frequent your store again. Very sad that people can't treat others the way they wish to be treated! read more

Volunteer workers were extremely rude and unhelpful. Stopped by to donate new items with tags still on, loaded with armful of bags, volunteer worker stepped in front of me when I entered and loudly, nastily told me that they only accept donations between 10-12, (it was not twelve yet,) then continued to tell me I would have to go back to my vehicle and go around back and donate another day If they decide to accept the donations at all. read more

The third and final of the SOCH Auxiliary thrift shops in the area. Comparatively, this one is smaller and more expensive than the other two. Not too many clothes, not too much everyday housewares but more formal and decorative housewares. They are also light on books. There is a sign in the doorway saying that they do not accept winter clothes until October and Christmas trees until November. This tells me they cannot handle the amount of donations that they could possible receive. Located in Waretown Plaza on the left hand side if you are on Rt. 9 going North. read more

This used to be a great store to find cool odds and ends. They were priced fairly and you could score some real bargains! Unfortunately they have discovered eBay and are now pricing items according to prices of things listed on eBay. While I can certainly understand raising prices to make more money for the hospital they support, I can not justify spending the prices they now ask. There are far too many thrift stores close by with bargain prices. The people who work here are great, and they have a great selection of things to look through, but their prices are out of control. Save yourself the trouble and pass them by. read more

The best thrift store in ocean county. Looks more like a boutique and has a lot of rare finds. Love this store

I just had a great experience at this thrift store. I went in looking for a christmas tree. two women were chatting, one was buying a small christmas tree. she was looking for decorations. the one women told her she was not going to use her christmas decorations since her daughter moved in with her and they had her tree and ornaments. the women said if anyone wants a tree and decorations to stop by her house. we both went to her house, she pulled down all her decorations and tree. the one gal took the ornaments and lights. I took the tree. the woman wished us merry christmas. we hugged her. the gal who took the ornamnents was putting a small tree together for her mom who just had her leg amputated becaused of diabetes. she wanted to surprise her- this women, made my christmas- just watching this gal when she saw all the ornaments and lights for the tree. You can find some really caring people at thrift stores. I went home- put some of my homemade cookies and candies in a tin and brought them back over to her - I told her she made my christmas. Everyone at this thrift store is super nice, always willing to help. they have some great finds here as well. you never know what you may find. the store is well organized and neat.
