Love this place! Was at Innsbrook and decided to venture into town to eat instead of eating there and this restaurant was recommended. Its a fun atmosphere and the service staff is upbeat and happy. I love the way its decorated, with the string lights and it just gives a great comfy vibe. We started with the spinach and artichoke appetizer which hit the spot from the get go. I ordered a chicken sandwich, my husband a burger and we both got the famous fries. I asked what makes them so famous and our waitress said she didn't know but she knew they were good. Loved this place! First time visiting and food was excellent, great service and pleasant atmosphere. Drove from Columbia to meet family from St Louis for lunch. Accidentally left my favorite jacket and called the next day to see if hopefully they could send it to me. Within just a few days it arrived in the mail! Incredibly gracious and I appreciated it very much. Now we have a great place to go anytime we go to St Louis or can meet halfway. Highly recommend! read more

It's convenient for me to come here since I live across way, so I come to the Social House a lot, and I'm checking out their menu items... a lot. Food is mostly a hit. If it's a miss, I'd say to people that's a preference thing personally. It's always fresh, & quality is there. If the taste wasn't was I was expecting or hoping for, that's all it is. Food is hot when it comes out. Fries are amazing, no wonder they were voted on St Louis's best fries. Mussels are fabulous, & I'm not even a fan of mussels, so I highly recommend! Steak is a hit or miss. I've had steak here that is juicy and full of seasoned flavor, or it's very bland with not a lick of salt. Wings are awesome, some of my favorite around, boneless or bone in. They're crispy & the buffalo sauce is the best in my opinion. Fried Mozzarella is a must try. First time I came here I thought they were mozzarella sticks just like any other place, but they're not! They're triangle shaped fried cheese to pull apart, way better than sticks. One of the only places in town that offers outdoor patio seating, which is a plus when it's nice out. The deck is ideal for private parties/events. The servers & bartenders are great. I love ordering Maker's Mark BlackBerry Lemonades from the bar, or Moscow Mules. The inside is open; if it's crowded inside, the place can get loud due to that and really no walls, so just keep that in mind. They will have music playing or a person playing on the guitar on weekends. It's nice to have Social House in Warrenton, seems like they're really doing great too! read more

First time here and love the comfy welcome vibe of the restaurant. The service was excellent and the menu has a little bit of everything for just about everyone. I had the Philly Steak sandwich and it was delicious, lean tender beef loaded with cheese, peppers and onions on a fresh bun. Husband had the Comeback Burger and said it was absolutely delicious. Social House 227 has general appeal as a restaurant with sports-bar vibe. The blackened mahi was the highlight of the evening, well cooked and spiced. The Brussels sprouts were over-syruped, but the meal overall was good, including the tots and burgers. Service was midrange -- the server seemed impatient and not particularly tuned in to guests, on a modestly busy Tuesday night. The menu mentioned craft beers on tap, and she seemed flustered to be asked about those and the NA beer options. The interior is spacious, and there's also a large patio, but that seemed to allow vaping. Plenty of parking along the road. read more

Ordered an appetizer that came at same time as meal. Person who ordered an entree salad was served way ahead of everyone else. All food was very slow coming. Most reviews are good but we stopped in for our first visit and I ordered the garlic french dip. It was a small sandwich with only a couple of thin slices of beef. I didn't say anything but one of my companions said "there's hardly and meat on your sandwich." May go back for the dinner menu. read more

This place looks great. The problem is the staff in front and the food in general. Bartenders and wait staff can get your order in and it is correct yet no knowledge of alcohol or pricing. My group of 4 was the only ones in aside from one other table, water took 15 mins because our server was actively on her phone while waiting for the bartender to get back to the bar so she could get our water. Ordered the Cajun shrimp wrap, it was a tortilla with two shrimp In it and about 10 oz of what they said was Cajun remoulade but it was clearly ranch with red pepper in it and that was it. I asked where inside of the wrap was the waitress asked what I ment and I showed her what I got she shrugged and said I guess that's how it is today. No directions no trained staff no care to the food and it obviously needs someone to care at all about it because the current staff, management, and ownership is unacceptable. You would do better to go absolutely anywhere else. read more
