This is what Mikey's Pour House passes off as a "burger"
    Stacit C.

Employees dis-interested in customers. Hassled by food orders. Moody unpleasant staff. Not sure if this is an ownership issue or a staffing issue. Fish is good. Food is fast. Anything deep fried seems to be OK. Burgers are deplorable.... Almost embarrassing from a cook's stand point. Add to an environment that it's hard to find a clean table to sit at and you quickly come to realize the pros are not equal to the cons.

Lots of specials. 25 cent wings!

Great food. Great service. Nachos are great. The burgers are good. Their appetizers are great too.

We split three apps: French fries, the wings, and the Brussel sprouts. Everything was delicious. I got the space themed drink which was really nice. Despite that, the other tables seemed to receive constant attention while our waitress disappeared for long stretches of time. We were initially seated in the side room with a large industrial fan blowing so hard that it was moving the menus off the table. We waited for the waitress to return so we could request a different table, but she never came back, so we moved ourselves to another empty table away from the fan. She seemed unhappy about the move and told us we might have to relocate again because they were expecting a busy day. Honestly, the restaurant was empty, and we would have been finished long before any rush started -- which we were. I asked for ketchup with my burger, and it didn't arrive until after I had already finished eating. Overall, the service was very poor. Unfortunately, the food was also extremely salty -- and we're people who normally enjoy salt. I had the Farmhouse Burger with Brussels sprouts and mac and cheese, while my wife ordered the steak and fries cooked medium well. The steak came out medium rare, and both her fries and my burger and Brussels sprouts were overly salted. The one bright spot was the mac and cheese, which we took to go. My daughter tried some and said it was the best she'd ever had. To top it off, our bill came to an even $100 with tip, and all we had were waters and the items mentioned above. We had been wanting to try Retreat for quite a while, so this experience was very disappointing. Between the poor service and underwhelming food, we probably won't be coming back.

We arrived right on time for our reservation, stood for quite a few minutes in a half-empty house before being seated, then waited a very long time between visits from our apparently over-stretched waitstaff. The first cocktail I chose wasn't available; nor was the first entree. I settled on the "red wine flight", and it arrived in three glasses. The server recited their names, but I didn't catch them. Food was middle of the road. A smoked sirloin sandwich was tasty, though rather well-done. And the order of "salmon cakes", which the menu says is made of "smoked salmon, roast corn, tomato, cucumber, creme fraiche, and capers" was in fact just one cake (not cakes!), smaller than a hockey puck (about 1/2" thick max) and seemed to be made of canned fish, not the bright orange of smoked salmon. It was accompanied by five thin slices of cucumber and three or four halved grape tomatoes. No corn, no capers. It was so boring, and an overpriced disappointment at $23. If this Bridge is actually closing and focusing on the event space, they've gone out with a whimper. And if they're actually continuing service, I hope they get the food a little closer to the menu descriptions. Our drinks and water glasses were empty for long stretches. Our server was very pleasant and polite, but must've had way too much to do.

The food- 3 of 4 of us said it was just ok. The other really liked theirs. We had 2 different pastas & 2 different sandwiches. Calabrian carbonara & citrus fettuccine. They were both kinda bland & not much flavor. Large portions. Wagyu reuben & smoked french. The reuben was a hit. The smoked french was too smoky. We had the pumpkin ricotta appetizer. It was pretty tasty. And the caesar was a large portion & decent flavor.

We stopped by on Friday night for dinner, the plaza it's located in was pretty quiet, the only cars seemed to be for this restaurant. I think it might be hard to find if you're not specifically looking for it. Once inside the decor is so cute though. It's fun and clean but also a little quirky. They have a TV showing animal videos in the main seating area. They have several appetizers to choose from, we opted to go with mozzarella sticks and the burnt ends. The Mozzarella sticks were gooey and a little stringy. They taste slightly more rich than a traditional dairy mozzarella sticks, but I doubt you'll find something that tastes as close to the real thing as here! The burnt ends were made of seitan and they were so delicious. The bbq sauce was very tasty and the seitan was a little charred in places. A decent portion size as well. For our mains my husband tried the tacos which he really liked, and I got the "shrimp" po boy. I think the "shrimp" was made from a mushroom protein of some sort but it looked and tasted eerily similar. I definitely never thought I'd be eating a vegan version of a po boy again and I was thrilled to see it on the menu. To top it off I got the cookies and cream vegan milkshake. Very tasty! I believe it's an oat milk base. I also liked they had some food retail items such as Rebel Cheese Brie. I've been wanting to try that brand for a long time and was excited to be able to order some to go! They also offer some non-vegan items for the meat eaters if you bring any along. I'd probably prefer to see a full vegan menu, but I understand making it easier for others to eat there as well. The staff was very friendly and smiling the whole time. I would happily go back here many days in a row to be able to try all the other items on the menu.

The restaurant is a cute and modern. The lighting and outside fire pits was a whole vibe! Parking is plentiful with street parking as well as a small parking lot! I will definitely be back and I suggest everyone to try out this spot while living and visiting the STL!

I could get vegan eggs and vegan bacon, and my friends could get their chicken eggs and turkey bacon. My favorites here were the vegan milkshakes, pancakes, vegan bacon, brussels sprouts, and the shrimp po'boy. Unfortunately, I'm speaking of them in past tense because as of tonight, 09May, they have permanently closed. My family and I were some of the very last customers. They were out of all my favorites, so it was extra sad for me. I ended up trying the tacos for the first time. They were cool. But I'm surely going miss my favorites! The owners also own Frida's and Diego's, off Delmar and North & South. I personally don't care for the food at either one, but rumor has it, they might bring some of the Station No 3 favs over to one of these restaurants (which are right next door to each other).

It's a great place to go with your vegan friends as there are many options for vegans and non vegans alike. It's counter service or order from a QR code at your table. They also seem to have a full bar. There was a Wednesday happy hour when we were there $9 old fashioned and potato skins. All and all it was pretty good but I would have liked to see some healthier options that weren't salad, like more fresh veggies in dishes.
