This is a popular local spot in Wright City. The service is usually friendly but sometimes you can tell the workers are having a rough day. The decor is a bit dated with many torn chairs. Its becoming more of a dive bar than the restaurant it was some years ago. The food is good though! I'd recommend the wings or burgers. We were recommended by a local as we were camping near by. Yes it is a bar but it is kid friendly till 9pm. Multiple TVs, video slot machines, golden tee, buck hunter, touch tunes jukebox which is posted no R rated music until 9pm to help make it family friendly....which I respect that having my 9yr old with us. Also smoke free. Service was great. She was quick to take our order and suggested some of her favorites which kind of helps if you are torn on what to order between(lots to choose from) Food was delicious. They have some fun options, my wife had dessert as an appetizer(lol). Funnel cake fries with powdered sugar with cinnamon dipping sauce(very tasty). I had the poor mofo wrap which was awesome. Son had the pretzel bites appetizer and a couple tacos and he is very picky about his tacos which he said they were good. We will return the next time we are out here. We had 3 sodas, 2 apps and our dinners and our bill was $41. read more

Out of towners staying at Innsbruck....staff was very nice, but they were out of everything. No turkey, no bread, no Miller Lite or Coors Light, no limes. It was pretty hit or miss, BUT the fried chicken was solid and didn't disappoint. Again, waitress was sweet, but the owner needs to make a run down to the grocery store for supplies. read more

Apparently Saturday nights is amateur drinker night. One customer told us she was there since 4pm drinking and it was 10:30. She was loud and a noxious. Not sure why she was not cut off. Oh I know why, the waiters/bartender was doing shots and playing darts as well. Seen a lot of customers that needed to be cutoff. Some customers did not look 21. It is unfortunate that after 8:30 the place goes down hill real quick. Employees need a refresher course on when to cut people off from drinking and make it a better place to go. Maybe Friday nights are better?!?! read more

I've only been once so this could change. Got takeout. It took forever! Like definitely call ahead. We got menus and looked then placed an order and waited outside. Anyway everyone said there pizza is as good or better than Imo's, well it was good but it wasn't great. I love pizza so it was good to me. The fries were plain crinkle cut not salty ( I don't like that kind) so I'll try not to judge. Burger was decent but not my favorite. I got the gooey cheese on it and I think that was a bad idea. The gooey cheese is kinda spicy tasting or like nacho flavored so not great on burgers or fries. I also tried the cheese curds, now these curds are the bomb! So I would definitely go back and get cheese curds. Overall for the price I would pick something I enjoy more but I think you need to try it for yourself because I only hear great things about the place! read more

We just discovered Mikey's this recent 6/14 Tues while passing through on our way to St Louis. I'm so glad we stopped. I had the BEST hot wings and my DH really enjoyed his loaded nachos. The draft beer was perfect--as in really Ice COLD and our server LeXi was very gracious,, knowledgable in helping us with food choices and sincerely welcoming. The service here was excellent for a bar and grill,- so much so that we hurried back on hubby's day off today;--Friday. Which now brings me to THIS 6/17 visit's review: This time we came in a little after 5 pm on a Friday. JAMES was our server and once again, the food and service exceeded all expectations. We really enjoyed James and appreciated how well he knows the menu with helpful suggestions and awesome service with a smile. We had the all you can eat fried catfish fillet dinner (Oh sooo good!) and James kept the food, drink and happy banter flowing. We feel like "regulars" already, and expect to be back again very soon. Thanks sweet Lexi and James for stellar service, thanks to the nameless cook in the back for resurrecting and restoring my hope again in finding truly great hot wings in todays lousy economic times,-- and a huge thanks to mysterious Mikey whoever you are for creating the perfect place for a couple road weary travelers to stop in for a delicious bite at a fair price with the best in service and did I mention the GREAT music? PS I told James I'd leave a positive review that mentions his charm and good looks,-- so there ya go...He has both, but he seemed the most attractive while serving my very, very cold beer. Great food great beer selection. Horrible service I have sat there and waited 10-15 minutes for them to acknowledge I walked in the door. Once you step in the door you reek like smoke. I would give them 4 or 5 stars if service was good. Its bittersweet but I don't think I will be back anymore. read more

Employees dis-interested in customers. Hassled by food orders. Moody unpleasant staff. Not sure if this is an ownership issue or a staffing issue. Fish is good. Food is fast. Anything deep fried seems to be OK. Burgers are deplorable.... Almost embarrassing from a cook's stand point. Add to an environment that it's hard to find a clean table to sit at and you quickly come to realize the pros are not equal to the cons. read more

The first visit here th first things I noticed were the smoke scent as others described, the men's room smelled like a horse stall. Water cost here due to the pricing scheme they use. They have no hot drinks but do have Lemonade, fresh iced tea & Pepsi products. As far as the food, the fried pickles were slightly over fried/burnt but did have a decent flavor. The "drop it like it's hot burger" had some heat to it if you enjoy spicy foods. It covers the frozen patty flavor. The "western burger" had a smoked flavor, BBQ sauce was decent, but struggled to cover the frozen patty flavor. Food was delivered fairly fast despite what other reviews said. The waitress/bartender was attentive with service and nice additude. Not a place I'd recommend, but works on a budget. read more

Ate here for lunch today. Service was mediocre at best. The food took 25 minutes to prepare and there was only one other table. The Southwest Wrap was horrible. It was more like a chicken buttered orzo wrap. The coleslaw was terrible as well. Wouldn't ever go back. read more

Wasn't impressed with the server that didn't tell us the specials and when we asked she spent more time telling us we were 30 minutes too early for the all u can eat catfish. MY FAVORITE HOMETOWN BAR! I don't know of very many places you can go anymore for dinner and drinks under $20, unless dinner and drinks means to you McDonald's and a 6 pack. Yes, the place is smokey sometimes especially at night. THAT'S BECAUSE IT'S A BAR! (I'm a non-smoker BTW) I love going to Mikeys for a great time especially on a budget! The food is so darn good, burgers and the wings have got to be my favorite! Aside from the homemade ranch of course. Staff is always friendly and food is always out quick. Be sure to try the half price appetizers on Sundays and half price pizzas on Wednesdays, those days are my favorite ! read more

Well we gave it another shot and now we are done. We have been there once before my last review and it was not that great either. This time we went for the breakfast buffet this past Sunday. We were told to take a seat anywhere. A young gal was bussing the table next to us, not sure if she was a server or what but no acknowledgement from her whatsoever. We decided to go see what the food looked like at the buffet... it was okay... we decided to sit down and we were going to maybe try a menu item but again no service. There was no one at any of the tables and about six people at the bar. Again the same young gal walked within a foot of us, no acknowledgement or anything. We got up and left. Stumbled across the place after missing the exit for the camper place and the diner in the same plaza closed the door on us as we started to walk in...but at least recommended Mikey's. I was in the mood for a burger and a beer and boy did they deliver. I like spicy...reeeeeal spicy, melt your face/burn your lips off spicy and they have a burger that does not disappoint. I got mine naked as I'm not a bread fan along with tater tots...ohhhh did I love those tots. The wife got a burger/fries and ate every bite as well...we both agreed it was deeeelish. She had a brew and I had 2...all of that for under $20! Waitress was nice, warned me about the burger's heat...I used more napkins wiping the sweat than I did my mouth. We will absolutely be back even though it's a bit of a stretch from our place in St. Charles. read more

It's hard to find a place to go that beats the specials mikeys offer daily and makes you feel like part of the family. Mikeys has an amazing dj every Friday and live music every Saturday! Great place with really great prices. Good service, good bar style food. Order a double cheeseburger, they are really good, might as well get a beer, it is the same price as soda. Might be a tad smokey sometimes but not bad until later in the evening. If you are passing by on the highway, well worth a stop. Lunch specials are always a good value.
