Crested Butte. Joanna offered us a wide variety of healthy hydration drink options; we booth choose the refreshing coconut water. As we settled in, Shannon and Joanna got us all set for our Immunity Boost IVs. Both Shannon and Joanna were wonderfully smooth, efficient, and caring with administering our IVs. My husband and I felt so well taken care of, once we were set up, Shannon stayed with us to make sure we were feeling good and comfortable. Shannon's energy is beautiful and so supportive. The owner, Lisa came in to chat with us for a bit and connect, was so great getting to know Lisa, loved learning about her passion for wellness, and her medicine of "kindness" was felt thru her whole team and practice.... we felt so welcomed and nurtured at Fusion. Both my husband and I felt amazing after our IV treatment, and it's been not even 24 hours and I feel my immune system has been supercharged!!! My mom and I came for oxygen at this "oxygen bar" our first morning in Aspen. The staff was…read morefriendly enough, but I have to question their techniques and effectiveness. Originally, they seemed awesome-- they took our vitals (oxygen and heart rate) before we started. They gave us oxygen tubes to put in our nostrils. We asked for a half hour for $25. We couldn't tell there was any oxygen flow when we started. My mom even asked about it. They said they put the flow really low to keep our nostrils from drying out. About 20 minutes in, I could finally feel some oxygen flowing. Also, 3 women walked in and asked for I.V.s. I guess you get free oxygen at this place if you buy an IV. So they got hooked up to oxygen too. We discovered they hook everyone to the same oxygen tank, and they can't tell how much oxygen one person gets versus another, as it's not even. Hmmmm.... After a half hour, they asked us to pay. I questioned, "Aren't you going to take our vitals again first?" They said sure they could (why did I have to ask?) Well, my oxygen level went DOWN and my heart rate went UP. When I questioned them about this, they hemmed and hawed until they asked if I wanted it for free. I didn't want it for free; I wanted oxygen!! They didn't charge me, but they wasted my time. And they potentially made me worse, though I'm not sure how they would have done that.

Even after they reduced it, I was still in a lot of pain. Courtney came to our suite and immediately put me at ease. She was incredibly knowledgeable, calm, and professional. She administered an IV tailored for recovery and relief (pain support, amino acids, glutathione, magnesium, and additional vitamins/minerals) and also set me up with compression boots. The difference I felt afterward was night and day. What impressed me most was her maturity and confidence--she clearly knows exactly what she's doing, explained everything, and even provided extra resources and guidance for what to do next. I'm planning to see her again for a hyperbaric chamber session and additional treatments while we're still in town.
