We were walking around town and saw a sign outside for butter beer and decided to step in. It's mostly an ice cream shop with some picnic tables inside. You order and pay at the window. We got a non alcoholic Butter Beer, it was basically a cream soda with some soft serve ice cream on top, at $7.99 I don't think it was worth it. We also got a pretzel with beer cheese. It was nice and hot, soft and right amount of salt. It was also huge and perfect for all 4 of us to enjoy. The beer cheese was also a great dip for it, only wish they gave two containers instead of one, as it was not enough. Place is ok, nothing fancy, just basic. They have ice cream and boba teas available. A bit pricey for my taste. read more

Uh, so I guess my experience here was basically the same as everyone else's. The ice cream was good (it's nothing they make there-can't mess that up), though they only plopped one medium-sized scoop on top of a waffle cone without adding anything inside the cone, so kid was disappointed. I was disappointed they didn't have the stuff to make boba tea, so I didn't get anything. It took all three people to get the person in front of me to sign their receipt, and no one could help us until we were at the front, and one person got our order while the other two didn't do anything, though easily could have helped the next person in line. I mean, maybe that's COVID-related to keep people apart, but probably not. Regardless, let's suppose that's the case and give them the benefit of the doubt, there. Then, apparently no one had taken a break all day and really needed one (fair-it was super busy that weekend), but all 3 staff members had to take their break at the same time (an extremely inefficient way to run a business). So yeah, it's fine. But, the service is pretty lousy and based on my own suspicions and after reading some other reviews, I wonder if they often "run out" of the ingredients for boba. read more

Stopped in to get some ice cream. They were out of a lot of flavors. My husband and I ordered the exact same thing however his was filled past the lid and mine was only filled 3/4 of the way. The lady was nice but I would prefer to have close to equal servings and I probably should have said something but didn't. I don't leave negative reviews but this place was bad. I would not go here as it appears that their employees are not trained how to wear masks. The girl behind the counter only was partially wearing her mask and was serving customers. The employee even dropped a couple of item in the ice cream when waiting in line. I WOULD NOT SHOP HERE UNLESS YOU WANT A SIDE OF COVID WITH YOUR ICE CREAM. In my opinion this place is a safety issue and should be shut down by the health dept. read more

There was a large variety of ice cream and frozen yogurt selections, as well as the less common fountain drinks. They even had Shirley Temples on the menu! It was not homemade, but even so, in addition to the standard flavors, they had pineapple and Super Cow (I have no idea what that is, other than multi-colored sweet). My son had Dippin' Dots, just because he could. I waffled between 3 and 4 stars here. I ended up on 3 just because the woman working there wasn't that interested. No offers of samples, no help to my youngest, who always has trouble deciding. Maybe I'm too hard on them; YMMV. read more

The 2 employees were extremely rude both times I visited (8'16 & 4'18). It was obvious that they were annoyed when they had to get off their stools, put their phones down and actually serve paying customers. After we paid and started to walk out one of the employees yelled out "HEY! You didn't pay for your ice cream!" We had, and even the other employee said we did. Stopped in last weekend during a day trip to Helen with my family. Honestly, my expectations were pretty low based on the reviews here, but we were all blown away! Everything we ordered was so delicious! My mango smoothie with strawberry popping boba was amazing - possibly one of the best popping boba drinks I have ever had. I would definitely recommend it! My husband's chocolate malt with "extra, extra, extra malt" was made perfectly. Sundae was good as well. There was only one person working so it was not the fastest service, but she was really nice and made everything with care. We will definitely come back for a treat whenever we are in town! read more

The ice cream itself was great. No complaints. When we walked in, there's a sign that says to inform the staff of any allergies. I appreciate that, because one of my kids is allergic to gluten. I asked the staff member (who was the only one working) if any of the flavors have gluten. His reply? "Uhh... what's gluten?" I told him gluten is wheat, and he goes "um why would ice cream have wheat?" So I told him flavors like cookies and cream, birthday cake, and cookie dough typically have gluten. He was like "oh. Well I don't know. So it may have gluten then. That wouldn't be too good." Seriously?? So unprofessional. And potentially very dangerous! We didn't have their ice cream so maybe that would be fine, but Do NOT waste your money on the boba tea (bubble tea). For $6.95 plus 60 cent debit card fee, I got a 12 oz taro bubble tea with boba. It was half ice! The taro drink wasn't sweet which means they didn't use enough of the powder and there was very little boba and it was Hard!! All that for $6.95. I felt ripped off. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. It's too bad the ridiculous prices don't do anything to lift the spirits of the employees. There were 3 women behind the counter and one of them was doing all the work, one order at a time while a line formed behind us and the other 2 women played on their phones and talked to each other. My wife dared disturb one of the women to ask for some napkins and she grabbed them and handed them to me without even turning around to see who had asked her. Only leaving one star, since that's really only option. Went to helen tubing and as we always do we walk around and get ice cream. Decided to try this since boyfriend wanted to try a ice cream soda float. Got there and the people are hitting each other and arguing. Then as I got to order and had a question they had an attitude so I decided to order what I know is best, a plain vanilla waffle cone with sprinkles. The girl tells me "we don't do sprinkles on a cone we can on a cup" , NEVER IN MY LIFE I HEARD THIS. At that point I was just annoyed and had to leave. I want to start off by saying that if I could leave no stars I would. My family and I came here looking for hot chocolate, and they have hot chocolate for $5.50, so obviously you'd think it came in high quality or at it would least taste good. I sat there and watched the two employees microwave our hot chocolates. They were arguing to each other and the male had an attitude issue and clearly didn't want to be there. It costed a total of $17.20 for 3 mediocre hot chocolates. The hot chocolates themselves would be better made at home, and didn't even have marshmellows-- a key ingredient. They tasted like they were microwaved, which they were. It's been 20 minutes since I started drinking the hot choclate and the three people who have the drinks (including myself) are feeling cramps and upset stomachs. Horrible service, food, and prices. So we were there for the tree lighting ceremony and we waited in line for 20 minutes. When we got to the counter to order the lady with the glitter orange eye shadow( who smelt like whisky ) asked us if we knew how long the line was and that she would have to wash dishes in order for us to get the taro smoothie boba.
