I assume it was made in-house, but now it has me questioning every other time I've ordered this dish back home; have I ever tasted a house-made salsa in other restaurants before, or is this the first time?? My partner ordered chicken mole enchiladas and just like the diabla salsa, the mole was complex and balanced-- a good sign that extra time and effort went into them! There were other areas where Mexican restaurants sometimes cut corners, such as not using fresh lime in a margarita, but this place put in the effort to do it right! I hope this place continues to expand, because the unique branded and carved furniture must have cost a fortune, but it was a lovely way to distinguish this restaurant without looking kitschy and filling a building with junk. There seems to be a LOT of space as well-- probably a great place to have a party! I'm so glad this place is here in Cushing, and I'll definitely come back when I can.

The owner came out and talked with each patron individually and was very welcoming. He was very nice and I enjoyed the conversation. Some might think he's trying a bit too hard, but I thought it was a nice touch. Especially since he seemed very genuine in his excitement to meet everyone. The 4 M sandwich is a 4 meat sandwich with brisket, Pulled pork, bologna, and sausage, on a very sturdy bun. The meat was all good, except the brisket was a little over done. But not really a big deal, as the sandwich was pretty good. I did NOT care for the BBQ sauce (and I LOVE sauce) as it seemed more like ketchup than BB sauce. It wasn't offensive, I just didn't like it as I felt it was rather bland. The onion rings were 10/10, my favorite style. The peach fried pie was probably the best fried pie I've ever had. So tasty. I will definitely be back to Mugsy's to try some other menu items and bring some of the family back some other time. Food 8/10 Service 8/10 Atmosphere and value 9/10

There are some home essentials available for purchase, but this is mainly a food store. They have shopping carts and baskets for convenience. The back of the store looks like there used to be a butcher for fresh meats, but now there isn't one. Some of the store aisles are unorganized and dirty. Most of the workers seem like younger people, and they were playing some game over the intercom system while I was shopping. It wasn't a very professional atmosphere.
