They also have "pastéis" which is a fried thing with cheese, meat or pizza flavor, all is great. Each of us chose an flavor of cake and everyone was happy and satisfied. I used to love this place in Brazil and I totally understand they just opened theirs doors here, but so far this store is lightyears away from Sodiê in Brazil. They have a menu with dozens options but only serve a few and even the most famous cake of them wasn't available and when I asked about that what they told me is that although is on the menu, all options are only to go if you buy the whole cake and they do a rotation on the flavors and using the owner's own words: "I can't guess what you want to eat to have it ready for you, even if that's our most famous one". Totally rude and the lady besides me told she came here before and had the same problem and attitude. I truly hope they improve a lot over time, I don't plan to return any time soon. read more

Staff was VERY helpful as I don't speak or read Portuguese and everything is written in Portuguese but whatever we ordered was DELICIOUS! The people who work here are kind and the cake is yummy. Very rich though so you only need a little. They sell cake by the weight and it adds up fast. Pretty expensive yet delicious. The signs are in Portuguese yet there is someone there who will talk you through what's in each one. I like to see a menu and then decide what to do yet I don't read Portuguese. Also, the service here is very courteous, friendly and special. Last week a work colleague from Orlando left the company. We decided to make a remote surprise farewell to him. We ordered a cake and savory pastries in Sodie and we sent to the store a gift to be delivered together with the food. Paula took care of our personalized request, received our gift box and did the delivery of everything on the exact time we were on a remote meeting with our colleague. It was a real surprise to him, it made us very happy! Sodie really accomplished the special request with total dedication and gave us the opportunity to celebrate the farewell with success.
