Told me exactly what would be done. Got quote emailed that same nite. I accepted it 2 days later and it was installed today. And I only requested it last week. The grass is beautiful. The guys worked steadily and hard and made my yard perfect. I can't say enough great things about your company. Especially Josh. He and his crew used my leftover sod and put it on dide of house. Checked sprinklers. Msde dure everything was working and hitting right spots. The whole crew wss plessant to work with and very diligent about their work. My only regret is i didnt csllthem 3 years ago for my front yard. I msy have to sgsin next year. I sm do satisfied and highly recommend them for you sod needs. BEWARE!!!! Sodscapes failed to complete the job. They did not put grass in a sections along my front sidewalk. It has been 9 weeks and they took my money and will not come back and finish the job. They did my neighbors yard so I walked over and ask them to finish my yard. They had plenty of grass left over. I spent going money and my yard looks terribl. read more

SodScapes did a great job! After a bad experience with a competitor, Josh came out to measure and talk through options for our small, weedy mud pit. The day after getting their written bid, Tony and team were here and got the job done in a couple of hours. They had left over mulch and even took the time to line our whole front flower bed, too. We did have an issue with a small landscaping rock being thrown from the tiller and shattering our back door (hey, accidents happen!), but Tony was on the phone with the owner immediately and a glass guy was at our house measuring a replacement the next morning at their expense. Everyone I dealt with was super knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely recommend! read more

Called company in January to get a consultation, intending to get sod in the spring. The company convinced us it would be fine to go ahead and install the sod in the winter. We followed their instructions completely and the grass started to green in most places. We were told it would be green when it was warm, but it seems clear that some pieces of sod were not the same as the others. All we wanted was for someone to come and look at our lawn and see if something needed to be done. They completely disregarded all of our phone calls and have not responded to any voicemails or emails. It was a hefty investment for grass that looks like this... Even if it does eventually green, the customer service was the worst we've experienced in just about any industry. read more

Very poor customer service. Getting the run around, new installations are more important than existing customers. I spent $2275.00 on new Zoysia grass. When I first spoke to Rex I had already talked to several sod companies that same day. Rex seemed eager for my business and was friendly so I hired him. That was the end of Rex's enthusiasm. I was told Monday my grass would be put down. Monday nobody shows so I called and finally he responded they would come later that afternoon. I had to call him every step of the way. He never called before during or after to see how it went or if I was happy or how it looked. They had to come back two days later to install another area. The grass brought that day was far superior to the first batch they brought. I asked why and I was told the first batch had sat all holiday weekend and that's why it didn't look good. They replaced some of the weak grass with leftovers of the good stuff. A week later 12 spots are dead and Rex will not respond. Do yourself a favor and buy your grass from someone else. $1800 later and zero customer service. Also beware they run this business under another name as well same phone number though. Maybe Dallas sod. My grass is pretty besides the 12 dead squares and having to deal with total a holes. read more

I will not use Sodscapes again. 25% of my sod died after 1.5 months, I had to go out an buy sod on my own to replace the bad sod they installed. I followed their watering directions exactly too. Sodscape quit returning my calls and text, so I now can not reach them and they have no physical address. Poor customer service. read more

I called a few places and I had to keep calling to get a quote. I felt like I had to beg landscapers just to give me quote when I gave them the square footage. No call back or anything. Had our front yard sodded with St. Augustine after years of neglect and areas that had died back. They cleared away the weeds and dead grass, tilled a bit, then added topsoil to our sandy soil, and added a mole repellant, fungicide and bug control (all to address some issues we had). The grass they laid looked very fresh and healthy, and they took great care to make it a snug fit, then rolled the whole yard to help the roots take. The yard looks great. Minor ding for communication. Took a couple of calls to get the quote, then actual work was past original schedule (with fews updates). However, the fall install window is very short, then our recent rain also affected their schedule, so I'll assume this isn't typical for them. Overall, a great job. read more

I have a fabulous green backyard that I am looking forward to enjoying for years to come! This company did my front yard perfect year ago. Last week they destroyed my back yard. They filled my pool with the Weed Eater remnants and dirt. They left my sprinkler system with open valves. My freshly painted pool had to be drained and cleaned and the pump was destroyed. The workers were not supervised or trained. I was very disappointed read more

I recently had my yard redone and used SodScapes. My neighbor and I wanted to put in river rock between our houses, where grass doesn't grow well and where we had a lot of soil erosion. SodScapes was able to accommodate the request, rebuilding the grade and laying in rock. James was also able to find a specific sod (cavalier zoysia) I was looking for, where as other company were trying to up sell me on sod they carried/had access to. He did his best to get me best prices for the materials. After work was done they went around the yard and made sure everything was cleaned up and went over watering/maintenance of the new sod to ensure its growth. I have left numerous voice messages and sent emails but again, NO RESPONSE back. If you don't want a job, just say so but to leave a potential client in limbo is inexcusable. Terrible. read more

The absolute worst! Avoid this company at all cost! I didn't think it was difficult to find quality sod, and install it correctly. I guess I was wrong.They have zero customer service after receiving your money. The ground and weeds were not properly tilled up, now I have the same weeds that were there before coming through my yard everywhere. It took me 2 weeks to get the owner James to come out, when he came out he offered no apologies at all for anything that was done. He made a bunch of excuses, and kept saying trust the process. Anyone with common sense would know, you don't overlap sod a couple inches. I had overlapping sod everywhere. It was thrown down as fast as possible. The straight portion of the sod should be parallel with the sidewalk / outside edges, they lined up the middle and left the outside hanging over a couple of inches everywhere, so I had to come back and spend hours trimming all of it myself. The yard is a complete checkerboard of paper thin sod with no soil under, next to regular height sod with 2 inches of soil under it. Do yourself a favor, spend a few weekends doing it yourself, you'll save thousands of dollars and it'll look 100% better. The sod can be delivered, by the same company that they purchase it from Lewisville LTI sales 1204 1/2 N Stemmons Fwy, Lewisville, TX 75067 Now he's threatened to contact a lawyer if this post isn't removed. Absolutely everything that I've posted is 100% accurate I have nothing to gain or reason to lie. False advertisement from this company. Keller is inside their service range per their map, but reply back to my request for a quote with they don't service Keller. When I asked for clarification they never replied back. Guess they are doing so good that they don't need new business. Missed out on a job that was at least 10-15 pallets for sod. Move on to a more accommodating company if your looking for sod work. read more

This company did a great job laying sod in my backyard. I laid it in March and it took right away. They made sure I was satisfied before they left.
