I have a dental appointment scheduled for 7/27/26. Of course, like most appts they send you a reminder via text, email, etc. Soft touch sent me a text on 7/23/26 at 11:35am reminding me. Mind you like most Americans we are working. As adulting goes I'm NOT walking around with MY phone. At 2:19pm on 7/23/26. I get an email stating it's been cancelled. That truly frustrated me and I felt undervalued considering I have been a patient over several years and my son and sister attend the location. Also, they are always booked with minimum to little appt availability. This would be my first cleaning of the year. I called the office the young lady stated to me after I went on to tell her that my job is demanding I don't walk around with a phone. So, she says well our office closes here soon we need confirmation. I said, well I don't keep up nor care to keep up with Soft touch staff hours. Don't appreciate the text. She then states well your appt is still available if you want it. But, that's just our office policy. Lord knows people need to be humble cause this is not the way to handle tenure patients let alone anyone who is CHOOSING YOU...as there provider for services. I pray that I find a new kinder more open appt denatl office. I know my value and there are things I just will not tolerate in 2026. read more

I called the dentist to schedule. My appointment was cancelled before, and I had to go to another dentist to get routine cleanings. My daughter is 15 years old, and Dr. Weber has been awesome to my children. He has cared for her since she was about 4 years old. The office staff were always awesome. She explained to me that it is under new management now. The new management Tierra is very unprofessional and trash. The way she speaks to a customer is insane. Due to a phone call I just had to schedule my children and I, and the way she conducts herself. I will never walk in there and deal with that type of service. Who argues or tries to go back and forth with the customer. She throws in my face that I have not kept up with routine exams. When Soft touch canceled, and I had to go elsewhere. She told me she is the office manager, and no one is above her. This has always been a nice establishment and it is amazing how the lower-level staff can make a place go down. read more

Worse dentist office ever & I never even made it to my appointment! So I made an appointment about a month & a half ago. my ori appointment was 3 weeks agai but it got canceled twice so to issues within the office. So when I finally do get an appointment they call me maybe 2 days prior to confirm my appointment & send over new patient forms. They adviced me to complete the forms before I came (which I did) but they never said it had to be completed the day before. So I completed the forms the morning of my appointment which was at 3:30pm. At 12pm the office manager said that they couldn't see the pic of my insur card & I informed her I couldn't find the actual card but all my information is on there. She goes to tell me they have to reschedule my appointment because they need a picture & it was too late to confirm my insurance because they were working on other people's information at the time...Yea keep the appointment! I don't even want it at this point. read more

Fellow Hazelwood NEA Teachers' Union members, when taking advantage of your Delta Dental benefits, please take my advice and stay far away from Soft Touch Dental, in Florissant. Long story short, their dishonest billing practices have resulted in numerous charges over the years ($80-100 a visit), when original estimates were (almost always) $0. My current services (estimated at $0) have resulted in a $960 bill. Although the office manager apologizes for the benefits-estimation error, they claim that a 10% correction of this $960 bill is the 'best they can do.' If you're a patient, and they haven't hoodwinked you yet, rest assured they will. It is in your best interest to find a different provider. read more

I decided to visit this dentist office based on reviews and a few word of mouths. I was really impressed that Dr Weber called to welcome me as a new patient. First visit the office was bustling with many staff members but I didn't think it odd just figured they were that busy. The trick- They put a camera in your mouth and to the untrained dental eye it didn't look so good. The dental assistant tells me all my potential issues to only be told by the dentist I have no new cavities but needed my existing fillings replaced. Thinking about what I saw I thought that wasn't a bad idea. Word to the wise- If its not broke don't fix it. I shouldve stopped after he struggled with the first tooth and had to numb me again after I started feeling it. The second didnt go as badly but I'm done. I've had nothing but problems. Newfound sensitivity to cold and when chewing certain foods harder than mush. And make sure you schedule and go to this office every 6 months as recommended because if you don't the office will harass you to come in. I had to ask them to stop calling. Having given this negative review I will say they all seemed nice but my 1 star is because I'll potentially be living the rest of my life with this and had to pay for it. read more

I heard great things about this dentist. The staff was great until I missed an appointment because I thought it was the following week. Yes it was my mistake due to a different work schedule. But when I asked to reschedule they said the couldn't. Honestly I understand scheduling issues bc I have medical experience. But things happen. And I would have paid a fee bc I missed the appointment. I'm so glad that their staff never makes a mistake. I guess I will never find out how good the dentist. read more

I first want to say that Soft Touch Dental Office has the potential to be awesome, but they have a long (long) way to go. I will try to summarize this the best I can. My appointment was at 7am (their new hours for 2016), I got there at 7:01 and there was a sign on the desk that everyone in the dental office was in a meeting and will get to me shortly... I wasn't seen until 7:25 (there was only 1 other patient waiting in the lobby with me). When I finally was seen I was referred to my by my last name by the dental assistant the whole time. ( I honestly thought I had filled out my papers wrong and put my last name down as my first.) It wasn't until I was being checked out by a different dental assistant who referred to me as my correct name and I realized the other assistant just didn't care to read my entire sheet to see my correct name. I have a broken half tooth, Dr. Leon stated I will need a filling. I advised that my prior dentist (who I was forced to leave due to insurance reasons) stated that since my nerve was exposed I will need a root canal and a crown. Dr. Leon stated he agreed, but wouldn't be able to personally do it someone else in the office does back teeth root canals. He stated he does fillings (which would explain why he wanted me to get a filling first...) When the dental assistant was going over my conversation with Dr. Leon, I literally had to correct her on the teeth that needed work because she was giving me incorrect information ( same assistant who couldn't get my name right). She had to correct the monitor to the correct teeth that needed work, and after 10 minutes of her clicking on all the options to correct the mistake, she had to have another dental assistant come in and correct it... At this point I am done and I advise I don't want any other tests or etc. I need to go to work. At the end when I was being consulted about the costs of the procedures I needed I was given a paper with the entire breakdown but the entire middle of the sheet was blank due to extremely low ink in their printer, so I only can read what I will need to pay but not the procedure details. In conclusion I will be going to my old dentist and paying 25% more due to the out of network costs, but their professionalism will be worth it. When someone is forking over $2500 in dental work, wanting to be treated by professionals isn't asking for much. read more
