My 12 month old son only has two teeth so the appointment was more informative than anything. The dental assistant made my son whose normally so stranger shy so comfortable. He was even smiling! The dentist was very knowledgeable as well. She answered all my questions with information that made sense. They did take a look in his mouth to make sure his teeth was okay and he did fuss a little at that. We were given a little goody bag of dental stuff for him. It had a little baby toothbrush that could be used as a teether, a small toothpaste and mouthwash, some of those floss picks and even a rubber ducky which he still plays with! Our next appointment is in 6 months and I feel comforted that we've found a good place for his dental needs already.

It was totally unnecessary and now I'm stuck with paying for ortho work for three of my kids. Funny how we never pulled teeth on my sons at a different practice and their teeth look great. We started going to Greenwood Pediatrics 22 years ago when my oldest daughter was born. She let the facility know that she may be a little late for her appointment because she needed to drop off her car for new tires. She was told that if it was an issue, they would call her an reschedule prior to the appointment. My daughter arrived to her appointment 5-7 minutes late. After 5-10 minutes they brought her back to the room to wait for the doctor. The person who brought her back told her that the doctor was running late. Approximately 20 minutes after my daughter was waiting in the room, the doctor showed up. The doctor told her that because my daughter was late, she could wait 40 more minutes or reschedule. My daughter could not wait, so she left. The doctor also stated that she had to push my daughter because she had a new patient she needed to attend to. Because of this, my daughter did not have her consultation and did not get her necessary medication refilled. I am extremely upset that after all these years as customers, my daughter was treated so poorly.
