It's a beautiful office. Making an appointment over the phone was easy, and the front desk staff was friendly. However, they don't check your insurance coverage ahead of time, so make sure to do your homework and confirm with your provider beforehand which I did. I went in for some suspicious moles, and Dr Saghari was very thorough, yet the exam was fairly quick. She wasn't pushy about unnecessary procedures and patiently took the time to answer all my questions. Dr Saghari is professional, friendly, and knowledgeable--not to mention, also very beautiful. I had been having some dry patches on my eyelids for some time and after trying some home remedies with no improvement, I decided to hop on yelp to look for a dermatologist that could potentially help me figure out what's going on. I came across Dr. Saghari on Yelp. After reading the positive reviews and her location being close to home, I decided to call in to make an appointment. The appointment was easy to make and scheduled for a few weeks later. On the day of my appointment, I showed up about 10 minutes early, and I was promptly taken back to the room. After the initial questions from the medical assistant, Dr. Saghari came into the room shortly after. She was quickly able to identify the issue and presented a couple of options. I definitely appreciated her options not being extremely invasive and she was very thorough explaining each option. I've been to another dermatologist in the area before and I have to say I highly recommend Dr. Saghari. Dr. Saghari knows what she is doing and she actually listens to her patients' concerns. My previous dermatologist would prescribe me expensive medication and ointments that didn't make any sense and it just felt like they were trying to make money off of me, but Dr. Saghari was able to see the issue and tackle it right away. She also tries her best to prescribe the best medications for the price, which I really appreciate. Naomi at the front desk is also super sweet and helpful, and you're in wonderful hands. I find Dr. Saghari to be quite impersonal and she doesn't do a good job explaining information or educating. I've had three appointments with her for full body skin checks, which she does a good job at. However, when I ask her questions she stares at her iPad when answering. Her answers are always something negative and without any follow up questions for me. I asked her about laser treatments for my skin and she didn't even take the time to let me know what she offers, what my skin could benefit from, or anything. She just said "It depends on the light frequency" and left it at that. I asked her for a tretinoin prescription and let her know that I've never used it before. She gave me NO INSTRUCTIONS, even though I have a history of basal cell cancer. She said "Your skin will turn red so only use it if you're okay with that". Literally said NOTHING ELSE. No tips to minimize redness, no instructions for how to start. Her demeanor is so negative that I always leave feeling bummed out. read more

Update: Dr. Saghari called me personally. She was kind and understanding of the situation. Warning: they charge a $50 fee if you cancel or reschedule less than 48 hours in advance. Not the usual 24 hours. I was going to be a new patient. I scheduled this appointment over a month in advance. Work changed my schedule less than 48 hrs before the appointment so I called the office to try and reschedule. They collect payment first before they'll reschedule you. Her next available was in a month, but for my schedule to align, I would have to book in December. In the end, I decided to not be a patient and she got a free $50. read more

Went to see Dr. Saghari when my eczema was acting up. Her practice was very efficient with all the registration forms done on iPad. When I finished the visit I received an email to log into their portal for requesting visits and updating my information. I always appreciate the tech-savvy doctor. As far as her personally, she had great bedside manor and was thorough with trying to understand my background and history. Gave me a new prescription to try that's been working well, along with some samples of products. She also mentioned she doesn't get paid for any recommendations so it's good to know they're honest recommendations (though I didn't feel that she was insincere in her recommendations at all). Maybe that's something in the dermatology industry since it can be more for-profit, non-medical than most other practices. I'll be back to see her in a year for my next check up or sooner if need be. read more

Dr. Saghari is absolutely magnificent, and out of the half a dozen dermatologists I've seen over the years, she is hands down the best. I have been suffering from acne on and off for most of my teen years and now early 20s. She had wonderful bedside manner, asked me thorough questions to understand the history of my skin, and never cut me off. She gave me multiple options as to how to treat the situation and wasn't quick to write a prescription without thoroughly discussing the topic and my concerns. Even though I had a ton of questions on the medication, how it works, why she chose that, she never made me feel rushed or as if i was wasting her time (which I'm sure many of you have been made to feel this by docs/derms in the past).
