Feeling beachy SoHa Living has that with a twist in every which way. There's something serene and calming about their outdoorsy vibe their collections and accent pieces they have available for use in every room in your life. Life!? Sure!! Not just your home...work, car, your look of the moment for yourself or others you're sure to find something and get inspired as everything here is displayed so beautifully. Yes we do live and are surrounded by all thing Hawai'i though work and adulting does take that view away at times which makes it a true delight to bring it all in your world with many items like some of my favorites are wooden signs with various quotes and mine is "My Happy Place". I love stopping here for seasonal, holidays and special occasions as they always have something here which makes it so easy to add that special touch. This location in Kahala Mall is fantastic with a delightful and friendly staff, and did you know they're opening a SoHa Keiki Koloa soon...how exciting! Keep updated with them through instagram @sohaliving and their website http://sohaliving.com as this women own business has certainly more great things yet to come. Thank you!

Eliza P is a TERRIBLE cashier! I was paying cash, she said the total so quietly I had to ask her to repeat what the small change was, and then said what I thought she said back to her to which she said yes. It ended up being smaller than what the actual amount was, but she didn't say anything! She just lazily typed in the incorrect amount I gave her, then handed me back the same coins I just gave her plus extra! She really didn't want to give me my receipt too, I had to ask her for it, & when I asked for clarification of what the total was she said actually it's THIS much. Wtf! At least say, "Oh sorry, the small change is actually X amount" instead of just blindly processing the incorrect amount I gave to you without saying a word. Eliza you really need to work on your customer service, terrible.

I love visiting SoHa. It's a great place to find beach themed accessories. It's my favorite place to buy seashells, which are farm raised. I've bought gifts for friends and pillows, beach themed signs & accessories for my home & office. They sell Kai brand white gardenia scent and rose scented perfume oil & body lotion. Every few weeks, they get new inventory & beautiful items. Today, I found a plate inspired by tropical leaves that I bought as a gift for my mom. Late last year they moved to a larger location in the mall that's close to their former location. Lots more accessories to shop!

I had a renovation that I finally finished so where did I head to? Directly to Soha after my furniture purchases. I needed some accent pieces and I found everything I needed there! The staff ( Kaitlyn) was so efficient so professional and so sweet. She even helped me to my vehicle. I love all their designs and pieces. It truly is a gem of a store. I also went to the Hilton Hawaiian village location that one was cute as well but they do not validate . Kahala store rocks! I'll be back sooner than later for su

Located in the center of Kahala Mall, this beachy gem has a very cool laid back atmosphere. Beach tends to be the major theme, as they have a wide variety of merchandise from pillows to seashells and greeting cards, but all revolve around the beach theme. I was looking for a gift and didn't find exactly what I was looking for, but I may be back later to grab something for myself. Prices are a bit on the higher end, but the stuff is very cute!

We live on, O'ahu, which is one of the 8 islands that forms the Hawaiian Island archipelago. As an island in the Pacific Ocean, we are surrounded by white sand beaches and have a tropical climate. SoHa Living is the perfect home furnishing and gift store to keep one in a beach and locally-inspired mode. Whether or not you're looking for bright Hawaiian print or beach washed hues, you'd probably find something here that will brighten your home and keep you thinking about this slogan, "Lucky You Live Hawaii". In addition to the tropical décor, there are nautical designs. All of the furnishings are designed for men, women and children with clean lines and traditional shapes. Items can be a bit pricey because of the boutique finds. The customer service is always friendly and because there are a couple of branches to this store, they'll even contact its sister store(s) if there is something that you're looking for and this store may only have limited stock on hand. SoHa Living always puts forth a true feeling of Aloha Spirit through their customer service and products they carry.

Bought some small door hangers for gifts and it was tagged with a price of $16.80. As I was walking out the store, I happened to look at receipt and noticed I got charged $17.80 each for the 2 items I bought. I went back to salesgirl who checked me out and told her I got overcharged. She said oh we forgot to change the price so I'll let my manager know. Huh?? Macy's & other stores does a better job and even adjusts price to match online. Being in retail for 20 years plus, we would honor the tagged price within reason. Just makes me think they raised the price a whole dollar so the cost went up that much? Plus these items are their own brand. It would have been nice if salesgirl checked with her manager-on-duty to make sure. Thank heavens I don't shop here very often.

Such a cute store. Loving the beach feel of this place. They sell shells, candles, living room decor, wooden signs, and lots of other home decor. Employees are friendly and helpful. The store is organized but it can get tight in here, especially since it's a popular store. Really cool place to find some gifts.

YELP 365 CHALLENGE 2014-(251/365) "Hawaiian Home Accents" Cool little store with tons of ideas to add to your home decor-vintage stuff, cool signage, assorted seashells, books, learning toys, and much much more! be sure to peruse every inch of this store as there is a lot to look at. The ladies that run the store are nice and very helpful in answering any questions you may have. Towards the back by the register, you have all your kitschy, comical stuff blended with more local island style accents, basically something for everyone here. Stop in if you're in the Kahala Mall. SoHa Living is definitely worth a peek! ALOHA! Shaka Meter: \uuu/ \uuu/ \uuu/ \uuu/ 4

If anyone ever needs ideas for what to get me for a gift....this is the store to come to. I could spend hundreds here (literally, this store is a bit on the pricy side) and still not be satisfied. Their cute mix of wooden signs and pillows with local sayings, beach side shabby chic decor, local books and toys for my meow and nephews, and humorous gifts that are cheeky enough for my friends make it my perfect go to store. Their employees have great customer service and they helped me pick out the perfect Hawaiian print wooden cut out for my father's birthday party guest book. They also had great deals on Black Friday (up to 30% off ). Although the prices can be a little high, I like to go in there for inspiration to craft my own gifts (like a driftwood cross with shells) or to buy that perfect accent piece for my living room. Buy local!

I love this store. Every time that I am in Kahala Mall, I end up leaving with something from this store. I think my favorite things to purchase are their signs. They usually have cute expressions, and they come in pleasing colors. I love them so much that I bought my friend a custom-made one for her birthday. My boyfriend and I also purchase gifts here that we sometimes send to the mainland. One of the cuter items was a mason jar shell candle. It was a hit back home with his mom and aunt. The store also has random stuff for your coffee table like trivia cards or icebreaker dinner party-type cards. We've bought everything from shell coasters to a wooden ship here. Everything is so cute. It is a bit on the expensive side as someone mentioned, but I believe you can still obtain some reasonably-priced finds.

So when I went to purchase my items I completely forgot about the special. I wasn't reminded about it either. I went to Complete Kitchen and bought a couple of items there. The cashier was telling everyone about their sales and the discounts. So I went back to Up and Riding and asked if the items I bought (over $100) were eligible. They were and she did take 25% off the most expensive item. As an avid Peanuts/Snoopy fan, both times I was so excited to visit and made a point of fitting it into the itinerary. However, the main reason it doesn't get five stars is because of the particularly high price point for what it is. Most items are priced higher than other similarly themed, small shops in Honolulu. For instance, some stickers here are in the $5.50 range instead of $3-$4 range. Basic thin canvas tote bags are about $40. It starts to feel like they're really taking advantage of fans and tourists and push a higher limit simply because "they can." The selection is really cute though, and items do sell out. So your options really depend on when you happen to visit. My first time in October 2023, both locations were all out of crossbody tote bags. This time around (February 2026), they were available in both locations. Many of the other items were the same both times, but there were maybe a few new designs. Also, this time around there were none available plushie keychains, which I neglected to purchase the first time around as they're over $20 each. This is just outside the Waikiki beachfront area, so not really easily walkable from there. Parking is street parking. You might have to loop around a couple of times, but it shouldn't take too long.
