I love visiting Soho for their food, drinks and above all their Photo-boot. Toronto is usually cold so, we really enjoy the sitting outside and the romantic view. We will definitely come!!! I was too hungry didn't took a picture of the food. Next time

The space is unmarked, attached to the Shangri-La hotel. The give away was the flow of people in and out of the main door for cigarette breaks. This made the club feel a bit like a speakeasy, with that exclusivity. Went here for a party on Saturday night. Got there early, but because I didn't know thr name of thr private memeber that booked the reservation (my friend's friend's aunt), the front desk wouldn't let me in. Once I got in, the bartender was very nice and accommodating. Drinks were a bit pricey, and so was the food. Quality of food wasn't anything special, and if anything, the cheese burger was very underwhelming. Korean fried chicken was pretty decent, shishito peppers (with a green puree base) and fries were as expected. Atmosphere and venue was nice, but for the size there wasn't many people at all around 10 pm.

The property was absolutely pristine and exceptionally well maintained throughout. The amenities made for a very comfortable stay, from the plush beds and cozy robes to the slippers and in-room Nespresso machine stocked with a wide variety of coffee flavours. These thoughtful touches really elevated the experience. What stood out most, however, was the service. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely eager to accommodate guests' needs. It's clear that guest experience is a priority here. I visited on a weekend when the hotel was completely booked, which speaks volumes about its popularity. If you're planning a stay, I would definitely recommend booking early. A wonderful stay from start to finish, and I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Another negative is the attitude of the casino attendant that stopped us from walking through with my 20 yo daughter. She had here carry a yellow card and stay on the red carpet. ( I understand this being under 21) but just her attitude of incredulousness that we were trying to pull one over on us. She should be fired! Not a good look for Seneca Niagra.

The bathroom was amazing with a large shower. Very spacious. Room key was needed to access the elevator and your floor, which was great (*cough* The canadian side Doubletree needs this right now *cough*) The US side of Niagara Falls is super sketchy and just for that I wouldn't be in a hurry to return - I also have no interest in casinos so there's not much for me to do here. Other guests were nice and staff were helpful. The water park was perfect. There is nothing better than being inside in wonderfully warm water while watching a blizzard outside. The wave pool was the biggest hit with my 3 elementary age kids. Of course they were big fans of the water slides too. We actually spent way less time in the water park than I thought we would, and way more time doing Magi Quest which is a big interactive scavenger hunt. It wasn't really my thing, but it seemed like every parent was a part time Magi Quest coach, and the kids like it so that's what matters. (Here are my Magi Quest tips- actually read the Ancient Book of Wisdom and ask the fairy questions if you feel stuck.) The buffet food was totally decent. If you don't want to leave the lodge, it's probably worth it to get the inclusive meal tickets. There are a few other dining options on site, like a boba place, a pizza place, a restaurant, and a coffee shop. Prices were not exorbitant compared to other tourist places imo. There is one restaurant inside the water park which I would skip unless you really don't want to leave the water park. It was sort of movie theater type quality of food at the water park restaurant. Definitely get the Paw Pass; it was totally worth it. Oh my favorite thing about the resort were the bracelets which are waterproof and function as a room key and payment system- SO efficient. Now you don't have to worry about bringing your wallet everywhere, losing your room key, etc. More cruises and other resorts need to do this. Do bring a Sharpie so your kids stuff doesn't get all mixed up. Also, bring water bottles- there are fillup stations at restrooms. If you never want to leave the resort you don't have to. They have everything there. If you feel like a quick excursion, we did Dollarama for some souvenirs and snacks, the Mandarin for dinner, and a drive past the Falls at night so the kids could see the lights. We didn't request any housekeeping while we were there. There were plenty of towels, extra trash bags, pillow etc, so we just did our own and it was fine. Overall it felt like a cruise on land. We would definitely do it all again!

The cabin we stayed in was comfy for our family of 5 and included a full bathroom with shower. It is still a camping experience so while you have a sink and coffee maker, there is no indoor grill or microwave. Everything was clean. We utilized the outdoor grill and fire pit nightly. Quiet hours were from 10pm-8am I appreciated all of the space in the cabin and strong AC. My only complaint is our mattress was a little hard so it wasn't the best sleep I've had, but overall these are above average accommodations for a camp ground. We enjoyed the accessibility of the site. You could easily walk to all of the amenities. If you are seeking amenities and things to do HTR will have you covered. We enjoyed the pool, mini golf, laser tag, kayak rentals, craft making hours, pedal bikes, and trails during our 4 night stay. All of these activities were included! Our kids had a blast and had something to do all day. The staff were very kind and really made us feel welcome. We loved the location as it was very close to Niagara Falls and restaurants in the surrounding area when we didn't want to cook on the camp grill. There's two sides to my review - I kind of feel bad for giving a hotel I very much like a bad…read morerating, however I feel that I have no other choice given their lack of transparence about their current situation. I have been going to this hotel for *years* - literally started staying here while in Niagara Falls with my *first* ex-husband - that was over 20 years ago. This hotel is beautiful, with a gorgeous Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired lobby (usually...........). They have a wonderful spa just off the lobby with exceptional staff, and most reception employees are very nice. Super easy to get stuff sent to the room (extra towels, toiletries, coffee, etc) - they respond very quickly to messages in the app. Their beds are 100% the most comfortable beds I have ever experienced in a hotel anywhere. Although this isn't a true "fallsview" hotel (like the Marriott or Embassy Suites, for example), the view of the American falls and of the nightly fireworks is amazing. Their prices for on-site parking have gone up, but are still very competitive for the area (we checked). So overall, this is a great place to stay when in Niagara Falls, right? Which is why we always come here. I've stayed here about 15 times with my Boyfriend since 2020. But here is the issue we encountered this time around. Upon check-in we noticed a very different atmosphere in the lobby. A large desk had been installed in a corner by the spa with several - I'm talking 6 or 7 - security guards at that table, and a couple other stationed at different other spots in the lobby. A large white board propped by the stairs that lead to the pool/gym, with a "transport schedule" on it. The hotel's steakhouse restaurant, Buchanan's, was closed for an "event". Curious, we asked the front desk employee what was going on - why the many security guards? She told us that a large group was staying at the hotel """for an event""" and that they had brought in their own security. Now even more curious. We could tell the "large group" were Indigenous people and Boyfriend being part Native, we started trying to figure out what the "event" could be. Couldn't find anything anywhere online. We were a bit worried because they were rowdy... a couple of men were actually sitting, obviously drunk or high, in the parking lot, and special-needs looking children were running around wild in the lobby. Long story... not short... we finally found out, from some hotel staff, what is going on. This large group isn't staying at the hotel for an event at all - thanks Doubletree for lying to us. They are a group from an indigenous town or village in James Bay that had to be relocated because of a contaminated water situation. They have been staying in Niagara Falls SINCE LAST FEBRUARY. The government is paying the bill for their stay - obviously the hotel management must love this, because they are making lots of money and filling the hotel rooms during what is usually the low season. Buchanan restaurant is being used as some sort of "cafeteria" for them - that's why it's closed. These guests of the government are given Wal Mart gift cards daily for their needs - food, etc (hence the bus schedule on a board, it takes them shopping every day) - and we were told that many of them sell or trade these gift cards in town to buy alcohol and drugs. Overall, were we *personally* really inconvenienced by these long term guests? Not really. They apparently have been given their own (lower) floors and we were staying on the 17th floor. All we truly witnessed was: drunk/high people in the parking lot and lobby, and rowdy kids/teens in the lobby. Dirty elevators, which never used to happen in this hotel. But the whole hotel atmosphere was different. My problem is, the lack of transparency from the hotel about this situation. I feel they should advise people prior to booking, and absolutely if I had known, I would NOT have stayed here unless a special rate or discount was given to make it up to "regular" guests. We paid $300+ per night, plus taxes & parking, to stay here - at that cost, I'm not putting up with an unsafe environment. Staff told us they aren't sure when the "government's guests" will be leaving. If you are considering staying at this hotel in the near future, I would strongly advise contacting the hotel and asking some questions beforehand. If they aren't forthcoming, contact the spa.

The hotel has the convenience of a spa/salon on site as well as a cedar sauna, two pools, and a jacuzzi. I mean...wow. Buchanan's is a gem of a restaurant and has excellent options for breakfast and dinner - and it's conveniently located on site as well. Views from the higher floors will show you Clifton Hill, the Skylon Tower, and the American Falls - all unobstructed. Staff were responsive and professional in every regard. The property is a grand slam home run.
