I love the chess board pieces when you walk in!

Do I recommandé le Omni? YES YES YES!!! Clean and up-to-date and very British like! I mean I don't know of any Omni Hotel that you can rate as anything outside of five stars. However I will say the restaurant for this Omni, was amazing! It's so nice not needing to ask for a seasoned food! Even the vegetables were seasoned! I know it may have just been garnished, but I ate the carrot, asparagus and the broccoli! They were so freaking tasty! But I think that's a Canadian thing to use seasonings. If only the Omni in the US would do the same! Outside of noticing that with the food, I mean it's the omni! I expect nothing less! And the concierge Mr Kevin has you on everything!

Weird bathroom. Room is so limited because of the door. A pocket door would have been better for this space

I spent 4 days at the King Edward Hotel. I was privileged enough to get to stay here for work for a crazy week of back to back conference, one of them being at the hotel as well. Service at the hotel is impeccable. Truly top notch. When I arrived my bags were taken and brought up to my room which was great. Check in was fast and smooth. I was really impressed with the great service. The lobby is beautiful. Early morning they have complimentary coffee and during the day they have complimentary beverages. I really enjoyed my stay, the pillows were amazing. I bought one online because I was obsessed. The only thing I thought was a drawback was the washroom space. The door was just in the way and to navigate to the sink was quite difficult and I'm a tiny girl. It was just hard to get ready in the morning. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay. Amazing staff, it was just an overall great experience.

Nice hotel in the heart of downtown; located just steps away from the subway, streetcar stops, and major downtown attractions. I've come here for various events throughout the years. The staff is always courteous and helpful with directions. The interior is beautiful, and even more so with decorations during the holiday season.

Beautiful Hotel and outstanding staff. The hotel has lots of history and is centrally located to many walkable areas. The rooms are clean and comfy.

I made reservations 2 months before I flew into town-- that's how excited I was for this tea service. While I did the research to narrow down this place it's worth mentioning that this town does afternoon tea everywhere priced with in the same ballpark. The service was fine and so was the presentation but the food was lacking. Desserts were either too sweet or the savories were cold ugh. The scones were not good and tasted like soft biscuits. Tea was fine. It was a nice surprise to get the chef to come out to the dining area to talk to us. I told her this was my son's 1st tea event and it was a real hit or miss with him. He loved the hot chocolate with marshmallows but didn't really enjoy his tower much except for 1 dessert. He actually said to me that his desserts were too sweet lol. Except for the chocolate dessert haha. She mentioned that day was the 1st day of their spring menu.

Stayed here recently and it was such a great experience! First off, the room was huge, bigger than we expected. The hotel is right in downtown, so we could just walk to restaurants, bars, and shops. Super convenient location. One thing I thought was really fun--the whole place has a chess/king theme. There were decorative chess pieces and royalty symbolism all over the hotel. Check-in was a breeze, the staff were really friendly and helpful the whole time we were there. The room was clean and I would definitely stay here again.

Had such a lovely time during our recent stay here! From the moment we arrived, we were treated like VIP's. After checking in & being double upgraded (woohoo!) we arrived to the room to a sweet treat & birthday card for me. For many of our 5 days here, we ate breakfast at Victoria Cafe & lunch at the Consort Bar. Both places were delicious & the service was superb! Amazing location & such warm service from front desk attendants to housekeeping & everyone in between. Great times!

For such a high-end hotel well you think they would have much better tp than sandpaper toilet paper. The water pressure was horrible. The room was huge but that was the most that it had going for it. I thought the customer service was just okay but that's about it. The best part about it was the location. They say they are dog friendly but in reality they're not if you look at what dog friendly is look at the kimpton St George review that I just left

This is the biggest surprise so far. The OMNI has truly met the quality standards, from the excellent doorman to the staff. What you see on the website is exactly what you get--nothing but the best, with excellent customer service. This has been one of the best experiences. If you're in the Ontario area, I highly recommend visiting this fantastic place.

Good- lovely decor, rooms were spacious , Good location, Hotel manager was accommodating Bad- To be fair we arrived from the US during snow accumulation of 5-6 inches. The food and beverage manager was unable to provide reliable service and gave some incoherent explanation regarding taxes which made me feel discriminated against as an American since other guests who ordered after us received their breakfasts. The hotel manager saved my review from giving it two stars after the breakfast mess up!

Hospitality at its finest! A beautiful hotel, super comfortable, and wonderful staff. The room has modern updates that still fit the style and feel of the hotel. My room was over the street car lines, yet I had zero issue with noise. Coffee maker in the room! Comfortable bed! Randomly - the best hotel elevators ever: never had to wait long for one the whole stay! The staff was immensely helpful and kind. One of the best hotel stays I've ever had.

We chose the King Edward because it was perfectly located in the middle of downtown with a short walk to most things were interested in doing. The check in process was quick and the front desk were very professional and wonderful. The lobby was very chic and beautiful. Definitely a fun spot to stop and take a photo. Our room was also flawless and clean. They also had two bathrooms so that someone could still use the restroom in private if another is showering. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows were super plush. We loved everything about the room other than the view. We got a view of nothing so we kept the windows blinds closed. Overall this hotel is perfectly located with amazing service and impeccable rooms. They have a very large parking structure if you have a vehicle as well. A must stay if visiting Toronto.

I stayed here recently for a long weekend. All of the staff here was friendly & helpful. I have to give a special shout out to Andrea & Rose at the Mokara Spa! They were exceptional. Andrea made me feel relaxed as soon as I entered the spa. If you are considering getting a massage, do it! The hotel has a great location downtown very near a subway station so everything is very walkable. I had dinner at the restaurant one evening & it was really good and reasonably priced. The only bad thing during my stay was a wedding on the rooftop that was very loud in my room. The front desk staff was great in trying to make me feel comfortable despite the loud music. I really appreciated the way they handled the situation. I would 100% stay here again.

Roger's Stadium (Blue Jays), CN Tower and convention center were all in walking distance. I actually arrived early but my status was recognized and my room was ready. Staff were very friendly and responsive throughout my stay. I was upgraded to a one bedroom which was welcomed. The room was large and comfortable. Better than the family's last stay in SoCal. The only room issue i had was the location of the in room safe. It was on the top shelf of the closet and the closet door blocked the safe door from opening fully. The other issue was 1 out of 3 elevators was offline the entire stay. It did make the waits a little longer. On the second floor was a very small gym but it did have a multifunction weight gym and cardio equipment. A water dispenser was located here. The heated indoor pool and spa was in the room next door. Breakfast was decent with a rotating menu over my stay. Scrambled eggs, omelettes, pork or turkey sausages, egg bites, seasoned potatoes, etc were some of the hot offerings. Cereals, breads and prepackaged yogurts were some of the cold items. They had both regular and oat milk which was nice. One note was that you have to provide your name and room before being admitted. There was a good amount of seating and was never crowded. In the evening the bar was open. Would come back and stay here again.

They especially enjoyed looking out the large window at the convention center, CN Tower and Lake Ontario. It was also nice having the extra (1.5) bathroom. The beds were very comfortable to sleep on and the housekeeping staff was almost invisible (a good thing). Since we got club level, it was convenient to grab food and snacks in the club lounge. Quite kid friendly, although with toddlers we were a bit self-conscious of our kids being too loud and messy. You can imagine my terror when my 18 month old threw a cup of milk on the lounge carpet. Luckily, the lounge staff is wonderful and welcoming and were very understanding of this mishap. The pool is very nice and heated. A little less picturesque than the St. Regis pool (which is located on a high floor) and smaller than the Shangri-La pool but still very nice. There are other amenities that are good for kids such as a free treasure hunt, complete with a prize at the end. Ritz Kids also has other paid activities that we did not do like baking classes, in-room camping, movie nights and family picnics. The hotel itself is conveniently located near the CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium, train museum and Rogers Centre. Most of these venues are within 10 minutes walking distance. I think it is also near the underground PATH, that connects many of Toronto's downtown buildings so you can avoid walking outside if so desired. Overall a great luxurious and family friendly hotel in downtown Toronto. Great for families visiting harborfront, CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium or Rogers Center. My only minor gripe is that the lobby is not particularly impressive.

The hotel itself has Amazing customer service, great amenities, and an Amazing soft bed which I was looking forward too. Issue: The game was at 3pm and it is currently midnight as I write this review. The stadium lights are still on and shinning brightly through. Before booking, I looked up reddits and different posts that said 11pm is when the lights normally turn off. But at 11pm the stadium turned on either a loud vacuum or fan of some sort (and it has been on for the past hour).(( UPDATE: turns out it's Leaf blowers. TONs of employees using leaf blowers throughout the stadium to remove trash.)) (((2nd noise update: 330am-7am more loud machines, they are now power washing the seats/floors throughout the stadium, plus noise from employees chatting while working)). The hotel should at least provide some transpency and warn guests about the field doing maintenance because I would have rather saved a thousand+ dollars by just going to the game itself and picking a different room knowing we'd be getting a get a good night's rest. Maybe the hotel could provide sleeping masks since they cannot install decent floor to ceiling blackout curtains. Or how about providing earplugs? Either way... started off at 3 stars. now at 1 star experience. So if you or your toddlers are light sleepers this room is not for you. Also this room includes 2 high stools which i used to prop up against the bed for my wiggling sleeping toddler to not fall off as neither beds are near a wall.
