There service was horrible service the owner couldn't even do a pedicure, right let's start with them trying to have n inexperienced child do my pedicure who acted like she she didn't know what she doing couldn't even take acrylic off of the toes cut my toenails way too short, where they looked horrible like little sausage stubs so then they tell me to wait and have somebody else come then the person they have come is the fucking owner owner comes and didn't even fall off or even sit down the acrylic that was prior instead she just decided to go ahead and pile loads of nail polished over when she seen me complaining about that she wanted to take it all off afterwards and still didn't even take it off the right way then my toes nails were not even filed and cut evenly and had white polish on them they looked at absolutely horrible and I feel like she didn't even know what she's doing. How was she the owner I don't know what everybody's big yelp is about this but it's the most horrible place ever. I will never come back here again and I do not recommend anybody coming here. read more

Worst pedicure I've ever had. Came here since my usual place was a 2+ hour wait. Memorial Day weekend so it figures. I got in pretty quickly, but it was clear that my nail tech was just there to get me in and out as quick as possible. She did not take time or care to do anything during my pedicure, she was very rough with my cuticles and the cuticle clipper, barely even looked at my nails while filing them, so of course my toe nails are completely uneven. Gave the worst foot massage and the ball of my right foot still hurts. All in al a terrible experience, I would have been better off waiting around at my tried and true, Duke. Never again. read more

I only came here because my best friend wanted to try it out and I would not recommend. All I wanted was a gel pedicure and the tech kept insisting I got my nails done even after I said it 10x. Then she kept complaining that the color I picked was "too light" (it's a mint green color) and that she didn't want to do it because it takes a lot of coats. However, I wanted this color and if I'm paying to get my toes done I'm gonna get the color I want!! She continued to shake her head and say out loud "this is the worst color ever" and "next time we probably won't allow this color" it wasn't even that light???? So unprofessional just because she had to do an extra coat than normal. Never going here again. read more

New to the area from Washington state. Wouldn't go here again. Went in for pedi/gel change. Granted everyone was friendly, the job was poorly done. The pedi was rushed and the polish on my toes is on my skin...I also had to wait 7 minutes in between the services because the woman doing my pedi had an appointment show up...so I waited. The woman doing my nails (Lena?) didn't wait for the timer to finish on the gel polish. I've been getting this done for over 2 years, and the time under the UV is essential to this process working. I actually had to ask her to let them sit for the full time and not go so fast. I can tell this is going to peel quickly. Prices are cheap, but clearly you get what you pay for. read more

i went to FASHION nails that was a few minutes away and the people there was so rude and i had to wait a long time to get service. not only that but the lady who did my nails kept on cutting my skin BC she was rushing like she had some thing to do. wtf ! so i just got up and paid for whatever it is that she whatever did and just walked out! and i drove like 2 minutes down the road and came across SOHO nails and spa , let me say that i was able to get what i needed and the wait was only 10 minutes long . and the manager was so humble and nice to me and i was pleased with my nails and i will only go to SOHO nails from here on. Came here for a manicure and was charged $37 for a "design" that was really just a stripe of one extra color on two nails. The woman also cut my finger, causing it to bleed for over an hour, and kept peeling the skin off. She also did the wrong design originally, had to take it off after I told her, and then proceeded to put a snowflake design on that I never asked for and tried to charge me. I LOVE Soho Nails! I discovered this place about 2 years ago. They are always able to get me in and do a great job. I can get a mani, pedi and a wax in under an hour. Everything comes out of a package to show that it has been sanitized. I have OCD so I always pay attention to cleaning details. read more

The experience was horrible. It was the worst pedicure I have EVER had. I was in need of a relaxing pedicure after a stressful week of work. From the moment I sat down Crystal had an attitude. She was impatient, bossy, and rude. She made me completely uncomfortable. She was very unprofessional and worse, condescending.. a thought that didn't occur to me until my friend who noticed, mentioned it later. At one point when she was talking to me, I actually told her she needed to dial it back. (I don't use that phrase usually) Crystal's attitude was so bad and noticeable that the friend who was getting a pedicure with me proceeded to address her in my behalf before her pedicure was even over. Her response was to say that she did her job just fine and she spent about five minutes explaining to my friend.. just "how" she had been patient with me after I had gone to the zone for drying. It was appalling. I told them it was the worst pedicure I had ever had. I couldn't wait to leave. We will NOT be going back. read more

On top of a poorly done manicure she barely even did my feet, awful pedicure. Talk about a waste of 48 dollars.... on top of that there is polish all over my hands and my nail is glued to my skin. My mother loves this salon. My experience is quite different from hers. I walked in and asked for a mani/pedi, picked out a color and was directed to sit. I waited for about 15 mins, which I don't have a problem with if I'm told there is a wait (I wasn't). Then I was sent to the pedi chairs. I sat there, with no one, for 30 minutes. Finally after getting the guys attention, he said 5 minutes. 10 minutes later my pedicure started. The worst pedicure. No oil for the cuticles she just started right in. All the while, completely distracted by the soccer game on television. After the pedicure, I went over to the manicure table and she picked up my hands, no soaking, no oil, just started pushing my cuticles back on dry nail beds. She kept asking me if I wanted clear polish, I asked her to just buff them. She stated they did not buff nails. I went to wash my hands and went back to the station and she was gone. Moved on to the next. What?! I went up to the desk and talked to the guy and he pulled out a buff pad and unwrapped it and had someone else buff them. WORST PLACE EVER. read more

I came here for a gel dip and came back a few times, never really a fan of the job that was done, but it is summer and I didn't have to polish them a few times a week. Last week I decided to give my nails a break, partly due to the expense and partly to let them 'breath' again. OMG. The way the girl took off the gel and how she filed and filed and filed my nails. They now paper thin right down to the cuticle. Most of them have broken in length. Some nails still have a ridge of gel on them along the sides. Such a poor job. If I could give a negative 1 star I would. I went to this place about 2 weeks ago for a gel pedicure. First of all, I waited for 45 mins with my feet in the water while my Aunt was getting her pedicure. Finally, a woman came to do mine. She was BRUTAL. She actually hurt me but also did not take any dead cuticle from around my toe nails. My Aunt left before me (so much for getting pedis together.) This lady went as fast as she could and did a horrible job painting my nails too. NOW the gel is actually peeling off my toes in whole pieces AND it seems I have developed athletes foot as well! Worst lower leg waxing I've ever had. The woman seemed to be randomly applying small amounts of wax in a sloppy, disorganized way, often not applying proper pressure between the wax and cotton strips, and not pulling off quickly enough to remove it... The process took over half an hour (usually this is an under-10-minute event at other salons I've been to), and I was left with various pieces of wax on my legs, and many patches of missed hair. After getting in my car and noticing hair still around the ankles and knees that she'd missed, I went back in to have her fix it, but still got home to find many other missed spots. Seemed like she'd never done it before. Cost $29. Complete rip off. I HIGHLY recommend you NOT go here. Wish I'd read some of these other poor reviews before wasting my time and money. read more

Let me just start by saying that I went to this salon a few times with various experiences, but never as bad as tonight. For example, I liked Lena's and Tina's work, but tonight I had THE WORST PEDICURE OF MY LIFE! The technician proceeded to remove my existing gel nail polish by just peeling it off, which is a bad technique in the first place, and she ripped off half off my toenail! Mind you, I have very strong nails! I jumped and screamed and all she said was "it broke". No apology, no empathy, just mumbled something in her own language. Are you kidding me? If I ever hurt anybody unintentionally I would be apologizing profusely! It looked like she was angry with me and I was the one in pain! At this point I wanted to cry and leave and I should have. I asked her to soak my nail polish with acetone which she should have done in the first place if she knew what she was doing. She did it for literally 2 seconds and proceeded to remove the gel with an electrical tool that just shaves it off along with layers of your nail. Another technique that you won't ever see in a professional salon! Not to mention that they never clean those electrical tools, ever! She was very rough and mean and spent a lot of time on her phone texting. Who does that with a client! She was shoving my limbs around, like she hated me or something, very rude and weird coming from your technician! Then she proceeded to paint raw skin where the nail was missing with nail polish, I stopped her and asked her to rebuild the missing portion of the nail that she torn off, she left and came back with something hot and thick and just plopped it on my missing nail spot. I am not sure what it was but it burned like crazy. The nail polish that she applied looked bumpy, sloppy and rough, any 3 year old could have done a better job. When the torture was finally over I went to complain to the receptionist. Still, no apology was offered, no attempt to rectify the situation. She looked lost and just said "well, it Monday", never mind that it was Tuesday. And what does Monday have to do with providing unprofessional services to clients? Are you serious? There was another client who also complained, but at this point I was done with this place and I stormed out with the intention of never coming back! I would to go to another nail salon to fix this mess, but am too traumatized to do it anytime soon. read more

Went there to get a full set done. I did find it odd that they sat me down immediately after another customer without sanitizing the table or utensils. The nails looked nice when finished...but with 3days after they were already starting to come up off my original nails. I went there with my mother I law while visiting...I live 2 hours away. So I called to see what could be done. They asked for proof..I sent them pictures. They said it was not the nail lady's fault..that it was the top coat coming off. I told them I could slip a piece of paper under the part that was coming up. They said come in right now and we will fix it. Obviously I couldn't living 2hours away..and being at work. I simply asked for a gift certificate to be mailed next time I was there so I could get them replaced. They refused. It seemed like since they knew I couldn't make it there right then..that it was the only option they would give me so they didn't have to replace them. What happened to keeping customers happy? I wasn't trying to get free nails I was simply trying to get my problem fixed and this place refused to help...only to their convenience. read more

I have never left a bad review anywhere, but I had such an awful experience my second time here. The first time I got my nails done, Tina did them & she was very gentle, sweet, and did such an amazing job. I loved her. The second time I came, Tina was booked so I was given Crystal to do my nails. From the moment I sat down it was such an awful and to be honest traumatizing experience. First, I had regular nail polish on and she used the very harsh tip on the nail machine that is meant to take off dip/ acrylic. She used this on my BARE nails. After mentioning to her that it hurt and that the polish was regular, not dip, she continued to do so (I began to bleed on 2 fingers- very scary to have exposed skin with her because all her utensils were definitely not sanitized). After applying the dip, she did not even care to make sure all of my nails were the same length/ shape on both hands. The dip was also very, very thick and bumpy. I wish I took a picture so I could show how awful they looked. Second, she was so aggressive all throughout. I said "ouch" MULTIPLE times. After she was finished, I asked to get the dip removed (it was that bad) she became more aggressive and was purposely scraping the skin around my nail, instead of the actual nail. It was such an awful experience and I legitimately felt as if she was going to hurt me. I felt so uncomfortable that I was on the verge of tears and I just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. Overall, i am sad to say that Crystal ruined my experience with SoHo as I had really enjoyed my first manicure experience with Tina. I will be saving myself from getting insulted (she laughed at how tiny my nails were & asked me how many times I've actually ever gotten them done), I will be saving myself from possible infection from the unsterilized equipment & unprofessional job, and saving myself from an overall shitty job and experience. I will always recommend that if you can't get an appointment with Tina, don't bother going here. read more

My first time. Great place. I really like the treatment and the atmosphere but I paid $40 for a gel pedi and two toes already fell off the night of the pedi. Luckily I have the skills enough to pull of something decent looking. Other than that, I was very pleased with my experience. read more

I was very disappointed in my visit to Soho today. The nail technician was in too much of a hurry. She never picked the dead rough skin or used lotion at all or the nice warm towel when done. Horrible place, only got my nails done for the holidays, gel dip, went back to have it removed and because I wasn't spending a lot of money to have another gel dip done--quick, made my nails look worse, didn't even get all of the dip off, not filed correctly, threw some polish on, got up and walked away!! Unbelievable, will NEVER go back there again, my nails, even though I live on a farm, are worse now then when I originally went in there!!!! I just had a manicure and pedicure at soho nails spa yesterday. Unfortunately, I am extremely disappointed with the quality of work the technicians produced. Usually, when I get a mani and pedi my pedicure is done first, and dried solid by the time I'm ready to leave. I had worn flats to the salon and they provided courtesy flip flops. I wore those all the way home and changed into my shoes only to walk into my house and my toenails ended up with fabric imprints in them. This tells me the technician used too much nail polish. My manicure is completely unacceptable. First of all, I have never in my life received a manicure where the polish is put on before the lotion and mini hand and forearm massage. This made me nervous and seemed illogical as the tech then had to be careful not to mess up the polish. Second of all, the tech did not ask me what shape I wanted my nails and just made them square without asking. Before I could say anything she had already done two nails and they would not have matched. Additionally, my nails are still all different shapes, some are more square than others. Third of all, the tech used way too much of the color polish and top coat. She also rushed through painting the French part. All of the French parts are different shapes and thicknesses. On some nails the white French part does not even reach the tip of my nail, and there are small bare patches in the polish. Lastly, the tech after filing and shaping my nails simple brushed them off with a dust brush. I regularly do my nails and have educated myself as to how to get as much of a glasslike finish as possible. I am certain it is proper polish practice to wipe the nails with rubbing alcohol or at least polish remover to remove any dust. This resulted in my polish looking bubbly. I also said to my tech there was a large piece of dust on the tip of one of the nails and her solution was to put more polish on it. I have never been so disappointed in my life at a manicure. I am preparing to remove all the manicure polish and to repaint them myself. I am so disappointed I am practically in tears. I often do my own nails to save money, and now I've spent $31+$9 tip to have them done and end up looking like they were done two weeks ago. I was hoping to get pampered a little bit before the wedding I am in, which is why I elected to have my nails done this time. The techs seemed more concerned with selling me a gel mani and pedi than doing a regular mani and pedi well and having me return again. I felt like the manicure tech was rushing and was trying to open her chair up for someone who was spending more money. Additionally, the floors were visibly dirty and looked like they hadn't, in the least, been swept in days. Chunks of black dirt on the ground in multiple places. I am new to the area and came here on the recommendation of a coworker. I will not be returning to soho nails, and I will be sure to tell my coworker what a disappointing time I had. read more

I went to Soho Nail Spa a couple weeks ago for a basic, matte black acrylic full set. I didn't make an appointment, It was last minute and I usually go to Lena who is amazing, skilled and takes her time with the process and makes beautiful results. However, I was placed with Crystal. And im not surprised that coming in to write this review there is a bad review from Wendy E. regarding her. From the second I sat down, she just said "what do you want"... I explained a full acrylic set. Crystal then became extremely bossy and irritated that I didn't want a full set. I stuck to my guns and told her I wanted the acrylic. I deal with anxiety, and I unfortunately have a bad habit of biting my nails at my worst. She ridiculed me for biting my nails, I explained I was getting the set on to prevent the biting and strengthen my nails and she said "Well these wont even stay on, you have no nail beds so theres really no point anyway"... Ummm okay?! I bit my tongue to the point of bleeding lol. She was extremely rough in buffing my nails and almost shoved my hands and arms when she needed to move them, did not massage my hands and rushed to the point she almost forgot to tell me to wash my hands. After painting my nails, she told me to go dry them, didn't pull out my chair or turn on the dryer and I had to squeeze through an area full of chairs/other clients and smudged 2 nails in the process. I went back to have her fix them and she responded "UGH REALLY?!" once again, bit my tongue. I almost walked right out at that point without paying, but you know, working in customer service, I remained tight lipped. After my nails dried she walked over and in a sarcastic tone said, "Did ya mess them up again?" and snickered. I walked to the register without responding and she explained my total was 42.00. FOR ACRYLIC? No massage, terrible customer service and all around horrible experience?! She then said it was 42.00 due to my nails being cut into stiletto style instead of square. So I paid 19 extra dollars to have my nails shaped differently. Reluctantly I gave her the money, for some reason still tipped her, and left. I attempted to message the managers on their facebook page which is a personal facebook and not a business page, to correct and acknowledge this they viewed my messages and did not respond. Twice. No wonder why they don't have a facebook page to place reviews, because they would be flooded with bad ones about Crystal! Its sad for me to say, the salon is beautiful, clean, and Neko and Lena are always so pleasant and do great work. But the way I was treated and overcharged disgusted me. Beware! read more
