It is important to note I didn't have any services while visiting this salon. I accompanied my cousin who had a gel manicure and fill with Linda. I was impressed my the cleanliness and services offered at Miracle Nails. The layout is very spacious and the customer service is good. On one side of the salon are 10 spa pedicure chairs and the opposite side features nail tables. Additionally, there are other portions of the salon for chair massages, waxing, and separate types of pedicures. In the middle of the salon are two sofas for waiting and candy bowls on display. As one waits, they can choose their polish color(s). The woman who greeted us on the way in was kind enough to pull up a seat for me next to my cousin. It was very nice of her to seat us together when she could've just had me waiting on the sofa. I also thought it was awesome that Linda gave my cousin a 5 minute neck and upper back massage toward the end of her manicure. This is definitely a nice touch. If I lived in this area and my daughter wasn't my manicurist, I would absolutely enjoy services at Miracle Nails. read more

I'm always checking out new salons in the area. I've been here a few times now and it doesn't disappoint. It's super clean and the staff aims to please. There pedicure is the best I've ever had. They use hot stone and really pamper you and don't rush like other salons. You can tell they really appreciate their customers and are happy for your business. I also love that they open at 930am- game changer. Most salons don't open until 11am around the area. I'm an early bird and like to get my errands done as early as possible. Go here. Just arrived in Utica, didn't know where to go. Overhead ladies speaking about this place, so made an appointment. This business is in a smaller shopping center, and it is big; not a small space like others. Nice big and airy. There was no wait, and I picked my nail colors-they have a wonderful selection of colors! All the employees are very nice and experienced! The pedicure stations have Plexiglas and all the employees wear masks and gloves. The nail stations also have Plexiglas and also fans are built into the table tops. I got a spa pedicure and had my acrylics removed and gels to replace. It wasn't cheap but not over the top, especially for the great work both Penny (pedicure) and James (nails) completed. After my third and final experience I'm equally not impressed as some of the others! 3 hours AND $200 later....very nasty taste in my mouth, as the owner stood over me the entire last half of my session! Really disappointed in my experience here. I understand and expect that any nail salon is going to be busy on a Saturday morning - it's just how the world works. But I was relatively early, it wasn't too crowded, and I came looking for a pedicure. I was told 15 minutes. 45 minutes later... I'm still waiting. I know, I know. Shame on me for actually staying and not walking out. FINALLY I'm seated, and asked what kind of pedicure I want. I told my tech, Tina, I wanted the paraffin pedicure. I have sensitive feet and really hate the feeling of the callus removal, which I always decline and which is part of the "spa pedicure" they offer. Tina keeps trying to sell me on the spa pedi, saying it's better, it comes with a ten minute massage, etc. I keep refusing, and finally I get the most lackluster, unenthusiastic pedicure of my life. I get it, you're starting the day and ending the day dealing with people's feet, some of which are probably not so nice, with customers who barely make eye contact with you or acknowledge you. But you're at your JOB, and I expect some level of competence at said job. Sadly, there was none to be found here. She barely took off my old nail polish, barely shaped my nails, spent about two seconds exfoliating my legs... you get it. From where I sat, it looked like at least the polish was even and neat, and the nails were uniform. However, I am 41 weeks pregnant and it's hard to see past my belly. Upon further inspection once I got home, I realized the nails were super uneven (ends not filed) and there was polish around my cuticles and on my skin. I had my husband take it off, so there's a waste of $45. Never again! read more

HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!! today i went into Miracle Nails thinking i was going to have a really good experience and to my surprise i didnt. my friend and i went in for a full set. Kelly did my nails and they are Absolutely and completely horrendous. she was extremely rude and aggressive. she barely used her words when she wanted my hands instead she slapped the table and insisted on me giving her my hand. She also applied the poly gel extremely crooked and when I noticed and asked her to fix it she got mad and began to be rude and throw my hands around. at that point i wanted to leave. kelly noticed that i was unpleased and she called someone else over to co-sign with her that my nails were not crooked even though they were. she began to contradict herself and say that it was crooked and that she was going to fix it but when she wanted to do it not what I asked. $70 for good Quality work isn't an issue but $70 for somebody who is rude aggressive and rushed through the whole process is not worth the time or the money. Highly don't recommend!!! My friend went to one of the men that sit closer to the door and although he was very nice and very sweet he did not pay any attention to what I said and he did a freestyle on my nails without my permission and when I question him on it he continue to do what he wanted to do I was highly displeased!!!! read more

I have never had a bad experience here. I've been to every nail salon in the area it feels... and this place is always spot on, they offer spa pedicure coupons every time I am in. Bong (owner) even provided a complimentary lotion for Christmas gifts to his customers. They are so accommodating and friendly here. My pedicure and manicures always come out perfectly. So I have had better experiences at other nail salons in the area. I went here for the first time yesterday. We were seated fairly quickly I got a spa pedicure and honestly just save your money because there's nothing special about it. That was the most basic as* pedicure I've EVER received and the dude that was doing my pedicure was falling asleep as he was "massaging" my legs. And this is the only place in this area that charges $20 EXTRA for gel polish lol I was like wtf. Everywhere else it's $10 extra . I asked for a full set and he did whatever he wanted with some gel it isn't bad but not what I asked for it cost me $125 for a basic ass set of nails and a pedicure. Plus he answers the phone as he was doing my nails and Kept getting up to accommodate other customers leaving me there with my nails all half done and done with no regard for my time Save your money and go else where. First of all I've never felt more uncomfortable ever !!! The owner comes and starts pushing to get more expensive service at all times . When I told the person that was doing my spa pedicure that I don't want gel he said something to the owner which came to me and started telling me how they will charge me extra to remove the gel I had ( which I did not care if they do ) . Then when I was getting my manicure done he kept telling me that I need "liquid gel" it's only $50 and it's so much better . I said I would like regular gel and he kept asking but why but why but why . They kept talking in their language constantly looking at me and seeing $$$ signs not a person . Arrived a little hour before close. Called ahead to see if they were able to take me and a friend for pedicures, and they said yes. When we walked in, it was busy. My friend and I thought we would have to wait a long time, but we were pleasantly surprised. We waited for maybe 5 minutes, and they took us right away. I originally wanted a regular pedicure, however my technician (I didn't see a name tag on him) kept asking me if I wanted the spa pedicure-it was a little pushy-that is my only complaint. After being asked about 3 times, I decided to try it. Although it is quite expensive ($45) I'm glad I did it. My technician took his time, and I did not feel rushed. The callous removal was great. Don't buy gift certificates for services here! For gift certificates of $50, they charge the purchaser $45 (telling them they're getting a $5 discount), complete the gift certificate for $50, and then the recipient can only receive $45 worth of services because they up charge you $5 for using a card (Really? You've got the money and a gift certificate is not a credit card). Sounds like a purchase of a $45 gift certificate to me. How about this--charge the purchaser $50, fill out the gift certificate for $50, and let the recipient have $50 worth of services. I questioned why I was charged a $50 credit card up charge for my $45 pedicure and they told me that it is because they gave the purchaser $5 discount. I told the person who gave me the gift certificate and they were upset about it. I have NEVER heard of such a thing. i went here to get a full set with gel polish. not only did the man doing my nails clip my skin multiple times with the cuticle cutters but he was also very rude. i told him several times that it was painful because he had got the sculpting gel on my skin and it burned when he had me put my hand in the uv lights. and all he could say was that it didn't matter because i had to keep my hand in there. Just love it here! The Staff are very polite and helpful. My nails were in bad shape thanks to several rounds of gel dip manicures. Eric explained how I was actually damaging my nails each time I would go to have my nails redone. My nails have always been thin, but I was making them worse. He suggested some other options and my nails look amazing! I had a pedicure yesterday as well and it was just heaven. Relaxing beyond words and I have soft tootsies again. Awful! Walked in, asked for a pedicure and a gel manicure. Okay got taken away which was nice. Very fast pedicure, no soaking of my feet, very rough and rushed. I didnt want gel polish just regular so i asked for a flower on my toes... okay.. done and went to gel manicure station. girl pushed my cuticles back , polishes nails and that was it! nothing.. wheres my manicure?? went to pay and the woman says $85. I have been a faithful customer of Miracle Nails for 10 years. After a terrible pedicure experience with Kelly, I decided to give it one more try because I have always had great experiences there. I went in for a manicure only and was treated with complete disrespect. I did not see a name tag on the male that did my nails but he complained the entire time that my fingers were not "relaxed" therefore it was hard for him to work on my nails. (I have a medical condition where my fingers are stiff, especially in colder weather) He kept sighing and began to move my fingers roughly, forcing them in directions that fingers just don't go! I asked him if it would be better if another tech could paint my nails because he seemed so annoyed at me, for something I could not control. The owner (who I love!) came over to see what the problem was and said something to the tech in their language. The tech carried through with my manicure and was completely rude to me the entire time, to the point that I declined a shoulder massage while my nails were drying because I did not want him touching my anymore than he absolutely had too. I then questioned a couple nails that he did very messily. I had him fix them because I refuse to pay and leave with messed nails. I was horrified and totally surprised as this was never how I have ever felt in that facility. I felt threatened by his behavior and actually felt tearful once I got into my car to leave. I have NEVER felt that way while leaving Miracle Nails. I think my tears may have been more disappointment as now I feel that need to find a different place and never return. I hate to leave because of Kelly and another tech but I feel uncomfortable going back to hostile workers. So I showed her and she said you have to sit on the couch 20 minutes which is fine but she didn't want me to leave so she just didn't tell me I'd have to wait. Then a guy did my pedicure, horrible! He was so rough I had to hold the arms of the chair, not relaxing at all, and he cut my toenails without asking and half of them are crooked! The first time I went I was charged $37 and loved my nails. I wanted French tips. I thought great price so I came back. They charged me $60 bucks for colored nails. My nails are okay but not what I wanted. They talked me out if what I wanted and told me my nails were weak. I didn't like their color selection. I wanted French tips.
