I finally found an awesome lighthouse paint by numbers that I snagged for my sister in law. Though it was a bit pricey, I felt good supporting a local business vs Michaels. While I was shopping I could hear the owner on the phone with a customer assisting them and not rushing to get them to hang up which is very nice. Once I checked out she offered to wrap it for me with no extra charge. I thought it was such a special touch. She also has an adorable dog that was behind the counter who was a friendly old lady. As an animal lover this is always bonus points in my life. It seems as she hosts some type of events, has some space in the back not sure if it's for crafts? But worth checking out! This was my first visit to the Learning Express in years, and I found the service and abundance of choices amazing. In these days of ordering everything on line, I felt like a kid in a candy store as I navigated all the choices. The women who work there were extremely helpful, and I was happily surprised by the free gift wrapping. I went there to find a gift for my soon to be three year old grandson, and my five year old granddaughter has a birthday coming up soon. The Learning Express will be my first stop.
