A friend has been talking about this place for ages, so one day I decided to ride up and see what the fuss is all about. If you're looking for a neat little country destination after cruising around some cool North Shore back roads, this it the place. It's part local country store (with Boxford MA branded clothing, kitchen stuff, etc) and part kitchen. There's couches and comfy chairs to sit on inside, but also a small deck and lawn area out back. I had a Turkey Apple Brie sandwich(sliced turkey, green apple slices, Brie cheese, and cranberry mayo on grilled multigrain bread). But they serve breakfast all day (how can you beat that?!) Here it is May of 2024 and the place is currently up for sale, and I hope the new owners (whoever they are) keep the treasure that this place is, intact! read more

Came here after running some errands in the area. Cute general store, had the pastrami sandwich and it was DELICIOUS. I think it's near a bike path as a lot of bicyclists came in for a snack. Check this place out! Also, plenty of parking in the back. read more

Overall this place is decent but still not as good as before it changed hands. The Italian sub they used to have on their menu was too the best around. I used to come here 2-3 times a week for that one item until they dropped it from their menu. Kitchen is so slow! Food is still decent. read more

Excellent sandwich shop. The ideal cranberry apple brie sandwich makes you feel you have died and gone to heaven. Perfectly toasted and loaded with taste goodness. We also liked the Bradley sandwich with hummas in place of mayo. It's good for folks with food allergies. read more

We stopped in after golfing at Far Corners not knowing what to expect and we were thrilled with our decision. My husband ordered the Reuben and I ordered the Turkey-Apple and Brie sandwich. Both were made with freshly baked bread and then toasted in a skillet. They both were amazingly tasty. We sat out on the back deck and our food was brought out to us. If you want honest food, made with natural ingredients, and made from scratch (just like mom made!) Than this is the place for you. The owners Mike and Kim are usually on site... making sure the food is prepared to their standards and that the service is great The also have some prepared meals to go which makes for a quality family dinner. This place is amazing. We passed it every Saturday on our way to gymnastics with the little ones and ended up at stardollars much to our dismay. West Village will be out new weekly stop. This place is a hidden gem! Mike, the owner is friendly and knows everybodys name. There is a couch and 2 comfy chairs in the back, perfect for meeting up with friends for coffee. Or you can sit at one of the tables and enjoy some delicious food! The food is made to order and healthier than most breakfast/lunch places. Their homemade soups are to die for! Fridays they serve up beefalo burgers - the best burgers I've ever tasted! The baked goods are delectable. They sell Richardson's milk and local eggs, breads, chips and small grocery items. In the back, they have a selection of cards and small gift items. Definitely do not miss this place if you are in the area! read more

I tried an ambrosial turkey, apple and Brie sandwich that also had cranberries. It was really freaking good. He had a falafel wrap and pronounced it tasty. The cookie was chocolate chip perfection. But what I really liked about this joint were the tiny arty treasures in every nook you looked in -- paintings and metal creations and books and zombie cookie cutters. In love. Cute combination of local gift products, tiny bit of groceries and fresh local eggs, with a breakfast and lunch place. The coffee is great. I can't believe I am going to rave about a sandwich. Turkey, apple, brie, and cranberries. While the combination is always delicious, they work some magic on the bread. Grilled to perfection, crispy, buttery, the brie is melted....you crave it. The Ruben is our second favorite. Perfect balance of filling, then the bread is dipped in the pastrami juices, then grilled to that crispy, buttery deliciousness. We hear good things about the other sandwiches, but I can't not order the turkey, apple, brie. read more

I'm updating my review which is long overdue. After frequenting this quaint restaurant/shop many times I can say it is one of the best "if not "THE best" sandwich shop Merrimac Valley. Imaginative takes on all food items and almost everything is made on site. Great service that bends over backward to modify for diet or other requests. Tucked in the town of Boxford, it may not be as accessible as others but completely with the trip. The decor is very cozy and the shop that surrounds you is eclectic and interesting to view. There is limited seating so be prepared for take out or outside dining. read more

How surprising that no one has reviewed this shop yet. It is just what W. Boxford needed, a place with GOOD coffee, food and essential groceries (milk, newspapers...) Comfy cozy interior just perfect for meeting friends and running into neighbors. There are home made foods to take out when you don't feel like cooking, tempting bakery goodies, cards and giftware. It just feels good when you go in, the owners are friendly and accommodating, the breakfasts and lunches delicious and they try to meet any requests for different bread or more this and less that. read more

I have to agree with the 1st two reviews. We just moved to Georgetown and I drove past this place on the way to work. Finally stopped in. Now I'm in there a few times a week grabbing a coffee. This is my favorite restaurant in the area! Mike and Kim (the owners) are the nicest people and know everyone's name. The food is so good - I especially love the turkey chili, the grass-fed beef burgers, and turkey apple brie sandwich for lunch. The homemade chocolate chip cookies deserve a review of their own too. We ordered lasagna from the catering service for a birthday party and it was out of this world good. There is also a really good selection of niche local and natural foods, as well as interesting gifts made from local craftsmen/artists. Overall good wholesome food, friendly people, great value and inviting country-store atmosphere - highly recommend! read more
