My family and I are grateful to this great company for coming through over and above our expectations, within our budget and all at the last minute ( over a holiday no less). We had a funeral reception to plan and having worked with Soirees on several business/wedding/corporate events in the past- I knew they were true professionals and just the right group to lean on. They came through in a matter of basically planning 2 days out, put together the perfect menu for an afternoon affair, set-up exactly as planned - and cleaned up quickly and quietly as they arrived. Great job to Norma, our server, who gathered plates from guests as they were done, refilled pans as needed, helped explain & serve to our guests the variety of dishes brought out. She also packaged our leftovers before leaving- extra points there! Much thanks also to Michele and Lisa, for taking great care of us during a hard time. As for food- I highly recommend the charcuterie platter, many sausages and a wonderful variety of cheeses. Their basil mayo was an out-of-the-park hit (cranberry mayo a close second) on our sandwiches. Oh AND ADD THE MAC N CHEESE TO YOUR ORDER. Just do it! We contacted Soiree's to cater a Thanksgiving meal for our call center employees that had to work on Thanksgiving. We even threw in a last minute request for a vegan meal, and the delivered. The employee said it was good, and grateful we included him. They were very prompt with replies and the brought the food right on time. We had them prepare individual portions so an employee could grab one and stick it in the microwave on the break. I would highly recommend them. You won't be sorry. read more

I wish I could give less than a zero. They messed up multiple things for my ceremony and reception.. The owners assistant miscalculated our price and when we were owed a refund it took over 3 months to get it after months of hassling them and being ignored or told we needed to talk to someone else. When we finally did get to pick up our refund January 2021 which was supposed to be mailed in October 2020 they reduced it by almost $200 dollars siting charges for things that we had stated we wanted during our meeting that they forgot to get even the day before the wedding! Used this caterer in 2008 for my wedding with 75 guests. Did not choose them myself as they had an exclusive contract with the venue. When we did our tasting, I was already concerned with the presentation and quality of food. We were paying approximately $100 per plate and I did not think it met that level of food quality. I emailed her to express my concern. Her reply is that she "never had a bride complain about her work." Big red flag! Since I was stuck with her, I gave her the benefit of the doubt. On the big day, as I suspected, the food was a disappointment. We had a cocktail hour and paid extra to have more selected appetizers passed. My guests told me later that items were still frozen in the middle. Plus, they did not bother to save us a plate of the items so when I asked where our plate was, they had to scramble to put something together and we only got 1 out of 6 items. Pretty sad since we were paying for this event that they did not honor the bridal party. The entree choices were prime rib and chicken. Once again, it was one step above cafeteria quality. The prime rib was overcooked and dry. Chicken dish was average. I budgeted a good portion so the food would be right. I feel food is a big part of a great party and it was my priority to have it well done. Even despite my concerns to her beforehand, she still blew it. So embarrassing to have frozen items served to close friends and family. You would think she took extra care to make it right after speaking to her. After the event, when I brought up the issues she basically said that they only budget $25/ plate. The rest is decorations and other stuff. Ridiculous that you do not inform us about that when planning the event. She did refund some money but it still does not repair the damage to my special day and the lasting memories of this problem. Warning to any bride if you are using them! Clearly there are other dissatisfied customers so this lady cannot even be trusted with her word. As a business that is a cardinal sin. I hope the owner reads this. If you are in the wedding business, you should have some ethics to realize your work is the realization of a lifetime of dreams. Do your job right! Not in a half ass way. I highly highly recommend Soirée's! I don't even know where to start! We had a 70s themed disco birthday party for children and adults. Erica Bobak researched 70s themes and planned the entire groovy menu to include food from 70s that both the children and adults would enjoy. The menu was SO MUCH FUN! The food was SO DELICIOUS! Everything was homemade. My guests said it was the best food they have ever had at an event. Erica came over before the event to see where we should put the food and drinks. Not only is this is catering business, Soirée's also helps plan your event!!!! We had homemade hamburger helper which was AMAZING, Swedish meatballs, Hawaiian ham and cheese rolls, little Frankie's with real grape jelly, chicken fingers & Mac and cheese served individually, deviled eggs, among lots of other things!!!! Soiree provided the best variety. My guests had so much fun trying all of the food and hearing about how it was made!!!!Soirée also baked us HOMEMADE Italian cookies and rice crispies! They were SO GOOD!!!! The service was FANTASTIC! We had 3 servers who were all so nice and attentive to our guests. The bartender was so much fun and made the best drinks. The food servers were soooo nice. We were all so impressed how attentive they were to guests. Clean up was fantastic. We were so happy there were leftovers, but not much because the food was SO GOOD. Courtney was great to work with, she was a great communicator and offered a reasonable price for the service, and was able to work with our budget. I have worked with Lisa and Soirees on several projects, and in my opinion Soirees is the best and most dependable catering company in Las Vegas. I would like to have given 5 stars, but I can't. I hired Siorees to cater my husband's surprise 60th birthday celebration five months prior to the party. They were to provide food and beverage for 25 people, linens, upgraded china, two servers and one grill chef. First, let me tell you what Soirees did right. They showed up on time, set up all of the food and beverage. They grill chef and servers looked good, worked hard and everyone at my party told me how delicious the food was. Siorees staff cleaned up at the designated time and when they left, my kitchen and serving area were spotless. Now for what did NOT go right. I had been working with Soirees via email five months prior to the party. They designed a menu according to my party style, which was outdoor BBQ and we emailed back and forth a few times with time and menu changes. The original menu called for Sweet Baby Ray's bbq ribs. I did not want wet ribs at my party. They are extremely messy and I did not want my guest searching for wet wipes every time they picked up a rib. I emailed Siorees and changed the sweet ribs to dry rubbed baby back ribs and asked for confirmation of the changed and an updated menu. I waited a few days and didn't hear back from Siorees, so I emailed a follow-up asking if they had received my email. They responded that yes, they had received it and the updated menu was attached. I reviewed the menu and saw that the appropriate changes had been made. I was confident that this was the final menu, as Soirees had confirmed as such. As the party neared, I reached out to Siorees again to discuss linens, as they had not reached out to me. Hearing back from Siorees when I reach out was hit or miss. There were times when I received a reply right away, and times when I had to reach out subsequently to make sure they had read my correspondence. Siorees did not reach out to me days before the party to confirm the menu. I wasn't worried too much as I had an updated copy of the menu with all of the appropriate changes. BIG mistake. The day of the party, the servers arrived on time and started setting up the food. When they removed the foil from the chafing dish that contained the ribs, I saw that ALL of the ribs were the Sweet Baby Ray's smothered wet ribs. I turned to the server and said, "Oh no! The ribs are wrong." She said she would immediately take care of it and call her boss. When she returned from calling her superior, she told me that her boss told her that the original menu called for dry ribs and that I had changed it to wet ribs. No. That is the exact opposite of what happened. At that point, there was nothing that could be done. My guests were there and so were the messy, wet ribs. The server seemed very stressed out that the menu was wrong, so of course, I just went with what they had brought. After the party, I expected some correspondence from Soirees addressing the mistake. I did not hear a word from them. I emailed about the mistake and got an return email that they are sorry for the 'misunderstanding'. There was no misunderstanding at all, but a huge mistake on their part. They offered me nothing; no compensation of any kind, no refund, zero. I paid the bill 2 months in advance and tipped my grill chef and servers more than the recommended 20% before the party even started. I did my part. Siorees did not. A few days later, I ended up calling and asked to speak to the owner because I was very upset. The original party planner (NOT the owner) called me back and apologized for the mistake. She told me a different story than what the server said. She told me that all fo the ribs came dry in the chafing dishes and that when the server called her, she told them not to apply the bbq sauce. That is simply incorrect. ALL of the ribs were wet inside the chafing dish and that is why I noticed immediately that they were wrong. As I continued to talk to her, it was very clear that Siorees was not going to offer any compensation for their mistake. When I continued to express my dismay, she offered me a 'discount on my next catering event'. I have never catered a party before this one and I don't see myself catering another. If I did, I would definitely not hire Siorees again. They dropped the ball; and did it very politely. I should have pressed for my money back. They should have offered it. It's customer service, plain and simple. If you want good food with attentive servers and grill chef, hire Siorees. If the menu you created, discussed and confirmed is optional, and you don't care about correspondence or accountability, confirmation or getting compensation when they get it wrong, Siorees is for you. *UPDATE* Soiree's told me they'd reach out to me Monday morning. It's now Tuesday. :( read more

Went to an event tonight that was suppose to be a luau. Dried pieces of chicken, cole slaw, mystery pork, multi item rice and pineapple upsidedown cake are NOT hawaiian however I realize the company ordering approved these items; Soiree should have made them the best they could be and they didn't. The bartender was overwhelmed and the pre-made drinks were so bad that several people went back for plain soda. And if all of that wasn't bad enough the majority of the staff were rude and arrogant. Our company does many major events and you can be sure we would never use this place...simply put a dismal failure !! read more

Fabulous. Catered a backyard Wedding Reception and was FABULOUS. Appetizers were amazing, food was everything we wanted and more. I needed a caterer for a party of 31 adults; a reunion of officers I served on a submarine in the US Navy. A friend who is a local realtor recommended Soiree's as a company she trusts and uses often, and I was very happy with them. First, Lillie at Soiree did an amazing job working with me to set everything up. I only host catered events about every 10 years, and I appreciated how open she was to ideas to make the event successful, and that she knew what we needed to have a great event. She and the team arrived on time the day of the event and set everything up, no drama or hassles. The bartender (Amy) and server (Norma) were terrific - responsive, helpful, and very sweet people. They setup, took great care of the guests with food and drink, and then cleaned up and packed the leftover food for me. They never sat still, and made the party a big success. The service and food were perfect, and at a reasonable price point. All of my former Navy shipmates were impressed and had a wonderful time. First let me say, I was super excited to have the opportunity to use this company not only for a high tea event, but others in the future! After several calls & little to no follow up with solutions, I'm very sad to have to write this review. I was so looking forward to a high tea party for 12 that I had already bought & paid for via charity, and was not able to use once requested. I became pregnant, and very sick my first trimester, realized the certificate had expired & called to see if any means of consideration could be made since I had spent several hundred dollars on the event. I was happy to significantly reduce the size of the party, cost, etc. & no compromise could be made at all. Being a high end retailer, specializing in customer service first, making exceptions to stay in business another year after 55 years....I can see why this company has very low ratings, does not have a good word of mouth reputation, and has recently sold the company, since clearly they do not make good business decisions! Keep looking....much better catering companies out there to choose from....from a service standpoint for sure! read more

I was a little surprised to read the reviews below, so I thought I would share my experience. I have used Soiree's for my annual Halloween party for 200+ guests the past 3 years. Lisa has been accommodating and Jeremy (chef) was great to work with at the event. Devin and Jason were great bartenders. I usually hear from a few guests how great the food was. I'm not sure what happened to warrant such negative posts from the others, but I guess people are more apt to post a review when they've had a bad experience than those of us who have had good ones. read more

Terrible Experience! Lisa the owner is the absolute worst event planner I have ever met! Do yourself a favor and do not sign a contract with these people! They can not be bothered to return phone calls, respond to emails and they do not honor their own contracts. I booked a wedding at a resort in Las Vegas, the resort booked all of their functions through Soirees so I didn't have a choice but to go through them. I booked the event 1 year out and went through 5 wedding planners in a year! They all kept leaving the company ( no doubt in my mind after dealing with Lisa myself as to why they left). On top of the revolving door of employees, each staff member had different answers about my contract. It was completely disorganized and unprofessional. When it came down to the day, I was told that I couldn't set up the reception room myself but that they would pull it together and all would be fine, it was sooo not fine! The room wasn't set up on time for my guests when they arrived, my guests ended up having to help set up centerpieces, tables and chairs! When I expressed my disappointment to Lisa, when I arrived at the reception and found out what was going on, she had a nothing I can do about it now attitude and didn't even apologize. Nothing on my end changed, there was no reason for them not to be on the ball, especially for a company that has been in business as long as they have. (This was the response I kept getting when I expressed my concern through out the year about their lack of attention to this function.) The night before our function we learned that the resort where we had booked the wedding had recently severed ties with Soirees due to complaints from other people just like me. Good Move! read more
